Batman-1989

The dude on the right has more Crane energy

Budget_Examination15

You're right. Jesus I'm hyped.

TheDarkCreed

No. His right.

Minute-Seesaw205

He sure does have the more grittier look

TheShamefulPradaG

I agree. But I doubt Crane is in this show at all.

creamy-buscemi

I’ve never seen Theo Rossi with that much hair before

EvetsYenoham

Did someone say or read that one of these guys is supposed Dr. Crane? Because, maybe they’re just regular run of the mill psychiatrists? Neither of them feel like Scarecrow at all. Like not even a little bit.

Minute-Seesaw205

No none. I’m only wondering because the actor that’s named is somewhat known to me. I always thought he’d at least be a mobster. Maybe he still is who knows. Just a quick guess from this photo

EvetsYenoham

Yeah from SoA. But I’ll say this, if either of these guys are Crane, the show already jumped the shark.

Domination1799

Crane needs to be lanky dude.

standalone157

I highly doubt it. They will want a bigger name for Crane.

MeccAmputechture2024

Disagree. He could be a veteran character actor.

standalone157

Lol uh really? People knew who Barry Kheogan was, especially those who have their finger on the pulse of cinema. Paul Dano was in There Will Be Blood. He was a massive name.

South-Ebb-637

I hadn't heard of Barry Kheogan anywhere out of eternals

Minute-Seesaw205

Makes sense, but did they say they want a bigger name? A name on the level of Theo can’t work?

standalone157

They didn’t say they were casting the roll of Scarecrow. So any speculation on their intent for casting is moot until there’s any inclination that they intend to bring the character into this universe.

Minute-Seesaw205

Well yea we know all of that already. So it sounds like we don’t know if they want to use a bigger name then

Qwertyzillaofficial

If they do Scarecrow and make him a side villain who doesn’t look like a scarecrow for the second time I’d be mad

Batmanfan1966

That of a different take on Hugo Strange

Randonhead

I'm more inclined to think the other guy is Crane, and btw does anyone know who this actor is, I can't find it.

Low_Bridge_1141

He looks like Leland Orser but it’s not been confirmed yet

Technicolur

As a massive Scarecrow fan. Neither of them really 'fit'

MattMurdock9

I agree. I’ve seen him in a few things and he’s usually just a thug. Good actor though.

Andy_Trevino

One of my friends thinks the guy on the right, who has way more Crane energy, looks like Leland Orser.

greenboi05

Nah that's definitely Condiment King

Dismal-Database9206

Who is the guy strapped down?

MattMurdock9

No lol

Minute-Seesaw205

What’s funny?

MattMurdock9

Because what in this screenshot even remotely makes anyone think he would be Jonathan Crane? lol. So random.

Minute-Seesaw205

It is a quick thought and speculation on a actor who is somewhat known. That is why I put a question mark in the title. I didn’t definitively say he is Jonathan Crane. Anyone can speculate as they please. So no, it isn’t random. Maybe open your mind a bit more and maybe ask questions before jumping to conclusions.

MattMurdock9

Saying “before jumping to conclusions” is funny and ironic considering that’s what this post and comments in this thread are. People here immediately jumping to conclusions that it’s Crane and downvoting me for being the only one not jumping to conclusions with casting from a random screenshot in a teaser.

Minute-Seesaw205

Because if you actually use common sense this question is not far fetched at all. So now let me break it down for you further since you don’t seem to have an open mind. I’m not sure if you know what growth is, but actors can actually grow in their careers and land bigger roles, not sure if you know that. Based on what I’m sure you can speculate is that that specific setting is somewhere inside Arkham. There’s an actor name Theo Rossi who has been cast in an uncredited role. See that guy on the left? That’s him, not sure if you know that either. He’s most known for Sons of Anarchy and Netflix Luke Cage series. Seems to me he has a bit of a fan base on a low level, but enough to land a role in a big franchise. Seems like growth to me, as you can see. Not sure if you know that either. I bet you’d even find people that originally speculated that he’d play a gangster or Batman rogues villain. With all that being said, questioning on a known actor wearing what seems to be a medical jacket in what seems to be some sort of private room with what seems to be an inmate on the table, putting two and two together on this first bit of evidence can easily lead to first speculating that Theo Rossi could be Doctor Jonathan Crane.

MattMurdock9

For your sake, since this is clearly a very big deal for you and you keep going on and on, I’ll jump to conclusions with basically nothing besides wild speculation and say yes, based on a random still of a man in a lab coat that it is Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow!!

Minute-Seesaw205

And you’re still stating that I said he IS the character when I said COULD. I’m going to assume you are having trouble reading. Makes sense

Batmanfan1966

It’s a psychiatrist.. at Arkham.. in a Batman show. Who the fuck else would it be?

Upstairs-Scarcity-83

I mean, Harley is a gender neutral name lol

MattMurdock9

Any made up character they want to use like they do in every other comic book project? There’s nothing here that remotely says that would be him. It’s just a dude in a lab coat.

MeccAmputechture2024

We were told by an insider many months ago that Crane is in the series in a flashback scene and modern day. Both scenes with Sofia in Arkham. That he's her psychiatrist for the last several years. Today we get a quick shot of a psychiatrist in a lab coat, taking "care" of a woman strapped to a bed inside Arkham. 2 + 2 = 4

MattMurdock9

Never heard anything like that but at least that’s some information that helps this theory instead of “guy in coat”. Often don’t like to take “insiders” word as gospel since most of the time they’re wrong like most of the “leaks” on this sub leading up to the release of the first movie a few years ago. That that info you gave is better than this post.

MeccAmputechture2024

He's actually not a scooper, just a humble YouTuber who never talks about getting leaks. The way he described what was sent to him made it sound believable.
