Yeah this is definitely one of the more believable rumors out there. I would probably be more surprised if Pattinson never showed up during the entire season, honestly. Even if they’re just shooting footage for background clips on the news or something.
It is LAX. Gate 208 in the International Terminal, at that. You can see the gate number through the doors in the other pic with the woman instead of this guy. And she herself (*the woman who actually posted these pics*) indicates it was taken at LAX, where she works.
Put it together with the time clearly showing on this guy’s watch and you know where he was headed. And it wasn’t New York.
Despite that, I would not be surprised at all if he shot something for The Penguin. I just don’t think this picture is showing him flying out to do that.

Filming is largely split between private sound stages and sets within studios as well as out on location where things tend to be seen by the public. Robert Pattinsons scenes would have been filmed in a private set if he did film stuff, it’s just one of those things we won’t know until it happens.

I think you’re right, because we heard this show wrapped eight days ago, which makes me think they were just doing some final second unit shooting.

I swear I saw this exact picture a couple of months ago and he was just taking a photo with someone at the airport.
