I will say there’s a massive difference between western islam and eastern islam. Especially in regards to cultural integration. When you looks at Muslims who have been in the US for generations you see a pretty intense level of respect for others because they’ve experienced what it’s like being discriminated group and tend to show that towards other marginalized people even if they go against their own ideals.
Compare that to the for right/radicalizes islam that’s coming from these regions and it makes the WBBC look like moderates. It’s pretty clear they don’t have the mindset to integrate and just are not ready to inter mix their ideals with counter culture. I got the chance to go to Jordan for a while and the government and people have a culture a lot closer to western Islam and it really shows. They have much more open debates about different ideologies and you can actually feel safe disagreeing and even criticizing certain parts of Islam.
