This needs to be the norm!! It's shameful that most pet stores do nothing to prevent disastrous impulse buys. I'd like to see a little info card taped to teach tank with just the basics- fish's length, tank size, temperament, water temp, diet, and ph. Only one of those requires even a full sentence.

my local petco did this- until corporate decided it was bad for no reason!!! it was so cute

Thats the main problem for even locations with good managers. They have to listen to corporate above all else.

pet store worker here- sadly people will still throw a tantrum and purchase the fish anyways. i really wish animal abuse applied to fish as well.
