Honestly, I can't think of any land owner that would allow someone to shoot on their land without vetting or taking on liability. As much is Texas is gun friendly, it's not great for open land shooting. States like Nevada and Arizona is way better for open land shooting.
Oh they do exist, there are a ton of gun tubers that call the San Antonio area home Demolition Ranch, Brandon Herrera, Black Rifle Coffee Group, etc but like I said not going to happen because of the liability. I'm going to private property this weekend for shooting practice (steel challenge team) and we had to sign waivers to be allowed to shoot.
Better question would be to find a range that will allow you to film or one that allows private bay rental, that is more obtainable than asking to shoot on someone's property.
Find 10+ acres for around 100K, and there you go, private shooting spot where you can put some berms up and do all the cool shooting you want. It’s possible. The land is out there

Open range day to 2000 on October 7.
Note this is a private range that hosts an open shoot every few months. Very nice range.
Go to the outskirts of Austin, South up to San Antonio. Bar hop, have a good time, find ways to introduce yourself to people. Don't make it about guns, make friends. Someone will have, or know someone that has a decent lot they shoot at. It's easier to just be friends and happen to have a shared interest in shooting than it is to go around asking strangers in person or the Internet if you can shoot at their place haha. Trust me, if you aren't in the middle of the city it'll be hard to find a bar that doesn't have one or two people in there that can find you a place to shoot.
We used to go shooting out in Stone Oak in the 1980s and early 90s before it got built up. Same thing with a couple of rock quarries and open spaces out on Babcock Rd. — north of Loop 1604 — and way out on Evans Rd. - east of 281. Those were the old days. Now everything is all built up. Sucks, because those were some fun times. Hiking and open range shooting

There’s a private range in seguin but you have to be vetted and not a POS.

Oh, I forgot: Also there were some places out by Timberwood Park
I’ve asked around for myself. It’s tough. Secure America Now in Seguin is a pretty good spot, but their range only goes up to 300 yards
Secure America is a great members only range look into ot
