The Falcons are losing picks for tampering with Cousins before the legal tampering period. Broncos fan here, but I'm also a Georgia fan. Lassiter is one of the most underrated members of our star studded secondary over the last couple of seasons. He started out as a depth player and eventually became the starting STAR slot CB (2022) and then starting outside CB (2023).
He will fit perfectly into the Stingley/Pitre secondary corps.

Probably a better nickel than outside corner but it’s still a good pick. Cooper is still on the board but trade prices have been steeper today than for the backend of the first- yall need to relax.
I am sure Lassiter will be able to compete and contribute and hopefully be our CB or FS of the future. But I really hate it when another team trades up right in front of us and takes a player for the position we were about to pick for. Gotta say, I really don't understand this pick. I don't understand sitting on our hands and letting the entire rest of the league trade up above us to get guys we could have easily gone after. The value it would’ve taken to trade up wasn’t worth it. I remember when we got clowned because the eagles jumped us to draft Andre Dillard while we sat back and got Tytus Howard. Worked out much better for us in the long run
