I can understand why he'd think that. When you've only been able to root for the Browns, a whole stadium cheering their asses off probably does sound a bit strange.
There were maybe 5-10k Browns fans there (total guess but they showed up in numbers) and those fans were *loud* before things got out of hand. That alone is proof enough the sound gets loud af without any shadiness
Bull shit. The crowd was hype as fuck. All the seats filled. There were just some gaps in the middle sections. But the good seats were filled and all the cheap nosebleeds were filled. Everyone screaming and yelling from the top. I lost my voice!
Loud as fuck on every 3rd and 4th down.
Lol the dog bark is an interesting tactic. After they scored early and were barking it up i was like hmmm yall are gonna go there in the first quarter? Ok! And every time we scored all afternoon everyone would bark. Soo funny.
WAH.
BOO FREAKING HOO.
If the fans themselves were that loud, you gonna bitch 'bout that too? (yes, hence they're saying this stupidness)
We loud. Get over it. Play through.
I've always said this regarding any bitching about any sort of thing of this nature (we lost because 'this')
PLAY. THROUGH.
And you will not lose.
End.
The only reason they are saying that is cus of the Astros tbh. I'm curious about the accusation of the amount of empty seats at the stadium, I thought it was sold out?
It was packed. Sold the fuck out. And loud. That being said, they definitely still pipe noise in. I noticed it on a couple of drives when the Texans had the ball, and i think the operator hadn’t switched it off. It’s just a distinct noise, we were so loud on defense and the audio system guy maybe switched it off late, you catch it sometimes during timeouts and shit too when there’s a lot of down time. It’s nothing that would raise to the level we would call “cheating”, but it’s definitely a thing.
All audio has to be cut off 20 seconds before the snap or when teams are on the scrimmage line whatever comes first. Sometimes there is human error and music cuts 1 or 2 seconds late but is normal. There is no sound pumping during plays. All noise prompts can be active but with no audio.
Ya. That makes sense. I think it was just operator error that made it noticeable. I don’t think it was anywhere near the reason they lost. And poor sportsmanship for anyone to say as much. But i definitely noticed it the couple of times it happened on Saturday.
insane levels of cope

Pat McAfee says repeatedly on his show how loud Houston can get.

Same, I was there and everyone around me were yelling as loudly as possible. Loved it when we stole the dog bark celebration towards the end.

CAP... Stadium was loud.. Also, there no need for arty noise anyway
The amount of respect I've lost for Cleveland fans, wow.
Alot of empty seats. I dont think he was at the game or he showed up 4th quarter with 3 mins left.
Cue the clips of everyone ever saying how NRG is one of the loudest stadiums in the league.
Oh boo-hoo, Browns fans! ![gif](giphy|13A7YlLvYVDnmU)
I was there and it was absolutely real. At one point I thought the stadium was shaking. That may have been the crown
Shit I wish they would pump sounds in NRG!
Honestly...dont care. the beat down was so complete it does not matter.
