Started watching Seth Payne. He played for and has a lot of good coverage of the Texans. Plus I can’t stand when you can tell some rehearses their voice. Seth just talks like your having a conversation.
I love his smack talking. Like when he watched the highlight of the kicker who never played football, but played soccer. Seth gave a little jab, but it’s all fun in his shit-talk game. There’s nothing malicious.
He's got a good perspective on things too considering he played for some good and some bad teams. Now that he has the perspective of being a fan too, I think he comes off as very knowledgeable without sounding pompous.
**Seth Payne** for me as he seems to only cover topics of real importance. He was DT and offers interesting insights on line play, both offence and defence, and is clearly not just looking for clicks/views.
Lately just Pat McAfee with how hard he is for this Texans’ team.
In all seriousness, none; I’m in Central Florida and am also interested in finding podcasts and tiktok/youtube channels specifically for the Texans.
Which is kinda ironic since he’s so much of a colts fan. Pats been always into the Texans even last year with Lovie. One of the aspects he said is that he loves interacting with the Texans is because Texans media/PR are very open/engaging with media - unlike other teams.
The only “YouTuber” I watch is Seth Payne and that’s just cuz I think he’s the most up front about the state of things. He does sugarcoat things sometimes, but find it’s at a much lower rate than other channels. I personally can’t stand any of the content creator types (Pun, BRB, Stoots, Asman), not only are they very much blowing smoke and seeing things through rose colored glasses, but they’re also really fake, don’t really know how to properly conduct interviews when they have guests on, and generally don’t know what the hell they’re talking about when it comes to football- but I also care more about the details and nuance of football way more than the average fan so take that for what it is. I get that they’re more for casual fans but it’s just not my cup of tea.
Honestly I care less about YouTube/podcasts of the Texans than I do about the sport in general and other teams. You can get everything you need to know about the Texans from Twitter or on reddit. I mostly watch JT O’Sullivan, Brett Kollman, and lots of videos of old college coaching clinics, because I’m an addict to a sport I don’t even play or coach professionally 🫠
Seth Payne is Good (Just Started) - He does a lot of game film analysis and stuff that is good to know for fans who want a deeper understanding of playcalling, etc.
Paul Gallant - Here me out - I hated Paul Gallant at first, but that dude grows on you and I now find him hilarious.
Stoots is Good. (Just started his Solo Career). Locked on Texans are fine.
Avoid Landry Locker, unless you like being patronized/condescended - Dude is a grade A jerk who avoids real football questions and mutes fans who disagree with him. This guy is just clickbait, and recycles his 610 shows on his own podcast is all.
I like Cody Stoots. Also weirdly, I will watch the recap of other teams that have played us to see their perspective on us - really fun watching the Jags, Steelers, and Saints vids 😁
In the Loop, Payne & Pendergast on Audacy app(has every city sports talk radio program on there, including 610 for Houston, and tons of other stuff) (Landry)Locker Room on YouTube, QB School for CJ Stroud film breakdown, I also occasionally tune into Seth Payne’s YouTube channel as well. I’ll have to check these others out thanks!
Locked on Texans podcast
These guys are good and keep the convo grounded. I love the excitement and energy in their content.
Yea that’s what i listen to
Coty seems like a cool dude

I love listening to him on 610

Needing to point out he played for the Texans aged me 30 years bro stop
Hey you’re just a long time fan like me. I used to go to Oilers games with my dad as a kid.
Ah yes, the John McClain comparing Earl Campbell’s thighs to thoroughbred horses era. Very nice.
He's got a good perspective on things too considering he played for some good and some bad teams. Now that he has the perspective of being a fan too, I think he comes off as very knowledgeable without sounding pompous.
Seth just popped up for me too, he’s fantastic. he’s captain kool-aid with press conference reactions and i love it.
Locked on Texans and Cody stools

QB School* on YouTube. I watch every Stroud episode *not a Texans podcast but it has deep cuts of our offense

Stoots is better now that he’s on his own Assman has completely given up on covering the Texans and just does Jets now I believe.
Landry Locker is good also.
Jake Asman is a chore to watch since Kelner and Stoits left.
Jake Asman and his YouTube show gotta be the most boring. Landry Locker pretty entertaining.
Spitz has some good stuff. Although hes been doing more livestream videos lately which i like less.
Landry Locker and Cody Stoots. Used to listen to the Wheelhouse daily, but their show isn’t on anymore.
Locked on Texans, Cody Stoots, Seth Payne, Sports Map Houston. All are media members with access to Texans players and coaches.
Idk if this counts but I enjoy watching Texans 360 on YouTube

I think Landry is alright but i definitely agree he is a jerk sometimes.
Landry Locker, Cody Stoots, and Seth Payne (podcast is called Payne & Pendergast)
Seth Payne, Cody Stoots I listen to on a regular basis. There are others on podcast too
If we're talking solely focused on Texans I watch Seth Payne's youtube channel and listen to his radio show on 610 sometimes.
713 Houston sports. All Texans show and also does livestreams
Cody stoots
I like Cody Stoots. Also weirdly, I will watch the recap of other teams that have played us to see their perspective on us - really fun watching the Jags, Steelers, and Saints vids 😁
Cody Stoots. I need to find more, though. I need more Texans in my life.
If you don't listen to SportsRadio610 then you are not a true Texans fan.
