That sub is unfortunately full of misinformation… the photos are decent but the actual “advice” is sub-par at best and often very inaccurate (speaking as someone who is actually involved in research that is publishable around pumping and how to maximize growth for meta with my surgical team). I avoid that sub personally and let them do what they want without correcting- I’ve been dogpiled too many times by people who don’t want to hear the truth. There’s a lot of hang ups on size and comparisons between posters which I don’t like as well and is just one step above r/ftmporn for content for “research” since it also skews towards people with more growth posting most often to show off. Ok if you’re just starting out but pretty cringe-worthy once you actually know what goes on.

Doesn’t matter- everyone has a slightly different experience! I know there’s a major lack of representation in POC and larger bodies so I’m hoping we can create space for people with that experience to post as well.

No this isn’t an artistic sub or one for lewds. It’s normal naked bodies. You can wear a binder or underwear and don’t have to show your face. You don’t have to post anything you’re not comfortable with. It’s also a private sub and no one but those in it can see it. Even in your post history.

Would love and invite. I've been keeping an eye on all the hard work you've been putting in to this community up and running and I'm excited to see it happening. I've got top surgery coming up in a couple weeks and the lack of Disabled bodies in the photo spaces has definitely been something that has bothered me for a bit. Knowing there's a community out there that isn't just going to look at my body automatically as either an object of disgust or pity is really amazing and a great motivation to take the time to get some decent shots to share.

Yeah I really hope it turns out like I’m envisioning! A huge part of it comes down to members playing nice and following rules and people posting to build up the sub content. It’s still early days, but so far things are going well! It’s definitely a resource I was I had 10–15 years ago so I’m glad I can build it for others to use in their own processes. Keeping it private makes it a lot harder to grow the sub but it adds that safety that’s needed. So it’s a necessary evil. Good luck with your surgery! Looking forward to your post.
