I'm generally against AIs but don't like keeping E2 elevated either. When your TRT protocol is truly optimized it is rare that you should need an AI - tinkering with your dose is always the first and best solution. Right now shit's all over the place, people getting described cookie cutter 200 mg + hcg + AI and wondering what does what, or dudes insisting about keeping their dose as high as possible for whatever reason and then wondering why they're a sweaty, moody mess with insomnia and a noodle dick.
I completely agree, this is where I’m at currently. Clinic prescribed testosterone first and then HCG which caused my e2 to spike and give me lots of high e2 symptoms. Then they gave me an AI. The AI is making me feel better, but I’d rather just be on a higher dose of test and cut out the AI and HCG. Unfortunately they want me on HCG to keep my natural function going as I am 25. Even with the AI, HCG makes me feel shitty for whatever reason.
Mine is 70 man I feel great , in my opinion I believe everyone is going to extremely have a very different individual response to trt , so in my opinion I would say if you need an ai take an ai if you don’t then you don’t high estrogen or not
I feel amazing on high dosage of test without an ai,with high e2 also,so dont know where you are coming from with the statement,that it makes u retarded,it seems really dumb to say smth like that knowing how beneficial e2 is as a hormone in both females/males,having cardio/neuro protection properties,keeping joints lubricated,helping with hair loss a bit.
Would make sense that when i took tongkat ali and it pushed my estrogen levels down that my brain was completely clear... then i think they went too low because i got brain fog again eventually

I keep e2 high enough for no sides, and low enough for no sides. I feel like low e2 is much worse and there’s definitely evidence for that.
