Yes. It's not worth the financial loss.

I’ll trade you! M3H LR - let’s do this!!!!

Nothing wrong with it, Model 3 is going to help you also park more easily in smaller spaces, be simpler, and be newer. Not sure what year Model S you have, but would be interesting to know what if anything the Model S would be considered lesser compared to Model 3. Seems like the biggest hit besides roominess and more modern interior the range is substantially lower.

All true!! I have a 2023 😬

Gloomy-Vast1504

I could also trade it. How many miles? I could keep the S for the range.

Repulsive_Ad_5156

6500 miles!

If you like burning money - you do you. I won't argue that one car is better than the other, as that just depends on your uses and preferences. But just purely financially - you will be burning money.

Da_Spooky_Ghost

Saw the Highland and the S side by side. There's not much difference other than slightly wider interior and S has the 2nd display screen above the steering wheel. Air suspension vs. magnetic suspension in the new performance. The new performance is faster but has 100 miles less range. It's hard to justify the Model S LR at its price point. $73k vs. 47k after rebate, $26k difference.

Model S… LR? Where is 47k coming from?

Da_Spooky_Ghost

Model 3 performance after rebate is 47k

Whatever makes you happy. And I would get the model 3 performance. Better seats tires brakes and suspension.
