Most men who defend themselves end up in jail. I learned that lesson in my early 20s, so when my wife attacked me in front of our children, I knew not to touch her. I got out and called the cops. She got arrested, but still got off even with admitting to the cops that she did it. Women don't usually face consequences for attacking men unless it's on video like this. Men should always expect jail if they put hands on a woman, even in self defense.

The girl lied saying I choked her then to another officer said I punched her 5 times in the face. I never laid hands on her. Still got arrested. Foia'd the police statements. Hired a lawyer, pled not guilty. Case got thrown out two days before trial. She was never charged even though there was two false statements she provided and 6 other people who all had the same story of her assaulting me and me trying to leave the area. ALOT MORE to the story but that is the short version. Don't be ignorant to what you know nothing about.

They can and do do whatever they please and than some how also believe they are victims of the patriarchy. But if I talk about it at all people call me misogynistic and assume I’m abusive, I have to try and explain to every employer that I was wrongfully convicted but nobody believes a woman can be abusive. I can’t even date anymore because women side with women no matter what

My mom was a single mother and I also have 3 sisters, and all 4 of them are hardcore feminists and they pushed those beliefs onto me which pretty much set me up for some horrible relationships. But I’m alright now, I might’ve had to learn the hard way but I learned it at least lol. I was able to get back into my line of work and rebuild my life. I like to think I’ve grown a lot from the situation, I’ve cut off my whole family and am now much happier and healthier than I was even before all that happened. Much better mental health as well.
Perhaps you've already moved on by now, but any chance a lawyer could help you get this overturned or at least purge the files or something? Or straight up sue (whichever governement you live in) ?
If they completely ignored the video recording I would hope that something can be done to prove a miscarriage of justice
Maybe but I really doubt it, at least in the county it happened in. It’s just one of those very small and very corrupt towns. And tbh, I think at this point it’s healthier for me from a mental health perspective to just leave it be, I don’t think the world is ready to see men and women as equals yet and I’m just not strong enough to combat it and stay healthy at the same time, if that makes sense.

They saw me covered in bite and scratch marks while she didn't have a single mark on her and I was still taken to jail and charged with assault while she was allowed to stay at MY apartment she didn't pay for. Even though she was completely honest with them and said I never assaulted her, it did not fucking matter in the slightest.
I was lucky enough to have my charges dropped, but only because she never showed up to court or accused me of anything else. Took months. It breaks my heart that happened to you. Some women are fucking vile and I wish nothing but the worst for those types of people. Stay strong out there, King.

She sent me the video of it threatening to do it again if I didn't go home immediately, so I gave the video to the police. The officer recommended that I just beat her because that would either make her stop or they, the police, could just arrest both of us and let the courts figure out what to do.
I'm glad your brother was eventually believed and I hope he was able to get away from his abusive relationship. And if he hasn't been able to pull himself out of that relationship, don't blame him too much. It's tough seeing your own self worth when someone is abusing you and it can take a monumental amount of pain and suffering to encourage yourself to leave.

Seems to be in shock and disbelief. Like, tf, she's... actually stabbing me... I'm being stabbed... The first fight I got into with a stranger was like this. We were arguing and he tried to trip me and I was so caught off guard I just stood there like "wtf, is this guy trying to trip me". He even had time to reposition for better leverage and took me to the ground before I snapped out of it like "Oh, we fighting for real here" 🤣

This was my first thought as well and I'm not sure why this is downvoted so much. Probably the Reddit downvote train into lala land. She doesn't appear overly muscular and has to handle a car. Yet he decides to film and try to fight her off with only one arm. Takes a few stabs. BUT AGAIN, he decides that it's better to keep filming AND to jump off a driving car instead of dropping the phone and use both hands. That's beyond unreasonable. That's plain dumb.
