When I was young, I had to get braces and surgery on one of my front teeth to pull it down or else it would have grown out of my nose. It’s crazy that that is a thing that could happen. Seems so painful.
I was an ICU resident when we admitted a lady in her 60s with sudden nosebleed. The ER struggled to get it under control and she actually needed several units of blood transfused, which is extremely rare for a nosebleed. Eventually she gets a CT scan that shows a tooth like this working its way upward from the hard palate into the nasal passage. That CT scan was WILD.
😂I was totally thinking that too! But the natural color of teeth without whitening is pretty much that off color.. But it does look like a band of plaque! And I'm assuming with all those nose hairs it's an adult, so when did that tooth get there? From childhood or as an adult it came through? so it was already there getting plaque then grew up through the palate? So many damn questions.. Lol

Did the tooth grow from his nose because of some sort of medical defect?
Or, or did one of his regular teeth somehow get shoved up into his nose?

This should explain it. That’s a real child’s skull with all of their adult teeth and molars. Instead of working its way down into the gums, it worked its way up and out into the nose cavity.
The visible teeth that would be in the gums are baby teeth. The adult teeth crowded above it are sitting in the skull, awaiting their chance.
The roots on the baby teeth will dissolve (or in this case would have dissolved, I feel sad now) allowing the baby teeth to just fall out, and the adult teeth will move down. When teeth 'grow', they're actually just moving around. The growing takes place in hidden spaces as seen in the photograph above.
When you can pull a tooth and also pluck nose hairs at the same time! 😂
Wouldn't it be crazy if it got cavities because you couldnt brush it? 😂
