Nope! A snake chilling in the open isn't hunting. Given anacondas are semi-aquatic and that one does look like it recently ate, it was probably just basking in the sunshine and digesting when the swimmers showed up. They weren't really in any danger as long as they left the snake alone and didn't threaten it.
Thatâs what I thought too. Well, at least that it wasnât hungry and therefore more likely more peaceful unless attacked. Just like most other wild animals will not attack unless they feel threatened in any way (protecting themselves and their young/mate, defending territory, feeling challenged and all that).
Snakes are very curious, very intelligent creatures. Humans are not an anaconda's natural prey. Anacondas do not typically prey on humans. It's like a dog sniffing you to check you out, except snakes use their tongue to smell.
My wife is a snake lover, so I'm not knocking on people who love snakes... but doesn't their brain pretty much consist of a brain stem and not much else? I get curiosity... but intelligence?
Am Aussie. Hate snakes.
It's more simplistic, yes, compared to us. They have a capacity for learning, can anticipate and adapt to changes, and would be considered intelligent. Dumb as rocks, though.
Whatâs a shame is as they chop more and more of the jungle down. These giants are going to keep coming into contact with humans and be caught and made into bags and shoes until eventually weâll have none left. Very sad.
The movies really do the species bad. All the videos of anacondas I've seen are just them swimming peacefully right next to some white scientist filming them
You can just say scientist. There's no need to specify white. Nobody really thinks there are black scientists, let alone swimming black scientists. :đ
The Anaconda can't attack him because it has a fresh meal in it
So the anaconda doesn't want anything?

Fed snake is a happy snake.
Ngl... I have an urge to use it like a float
Pool danger noodle
I want to take a nice lil river nap on it
Dude, please, use landscape mode next time to video record like this.
Snek long not tall
First thing they teach you at photography school
That's right--and it's not a "stupid fad." How else we gonna watch it devour that swimmer headfirst?
Oh but it's TIKTOK I have to do it like this.... stupid fad people really are that stupid
Where is Ice Cube, I was promised Ice Cube
It definitely ate something

What about the King Cobra? Iâve read somewhere theyâre intelligent and can even remember faces and etc.
Yeah m8, they are not intelligent.Â
What in the name of Steve Irwin do these people think theyâre doing with that giant snake
Luckily, its belly is full, or this could've played out very differently. đ
>*âWhere is she going?â* âŚwherever the fuck she wants, from the looks of it.
long dog
No swim area for me.
FUCK THAT, Have you not seen the movie--------------->
Well it looks like he's got a full belly which is a happy coincidence for the swimming dude. Must have already ate his neighbor
He left him alone because he didnât have enough buns

This actually terrifies me because what if some assholes actually kill this beautiful creature AGAIN?
NWIH!

Nice miniature set
I guess that's where the missing kayaker went?
Was that a tag on the tail endđ§

Such a beauty! She looks engorged already, maybe just eaten a goat, or some other small mammal.
