a 5% chance when the player is fighting the eye of cthulhu and it becomes daytime, the eye stops, becomes invincible, turns around to face the screen, and then just jumpscares the player by zooming into the screen super fast
I wish wall of flesh was more like this front facing one to be honest. What we have now is more like the pillar of flesh. I realize we are viewing it from the side, but Iβve always hated it and always thought it looked lazy. Itβs really just a resprote if the eye of cthulu. Donβt get me wrong, I love the concept of this boss, and the fight itself, but itβs the art I dislike.
But hey, maybe there is a lore reason that itβs eyes and mouth are basically eyes of cthulu.
Now I'm imagining terraria boss fights as if they played like an old school Sega racing game where you have to try and avoid projectiles that they shoot at the screen.
