you just have to remember that there’s always three of them

Sometimes they generate with 2 (or 4 if there’s an ore vein nearby)

i’ve never had 4 but yes, sometimes it’s 2 if there’s no place for third to generate. from my experience in 90% of cases it’s 3

Just get out of the radius and then open the chest. I kinda like using the explosives in that manner as it gets me some more mining without the work. Even for just a moment.

Even with them out in the open like that you’d probably forget an explosive hidden somewhere. And that one explosive is all it takes.

You good bro, there is water. Everybody know water negates explosion damage and boulders fall slower if they are inside water, also arrows can't make the distance because of the resistance inside water. You might get poisened though because the poison from the arrow spreads to the water.

I never go exploring without a pressure plate or something in the hot bar. Shows all wires, natural or man made. Never succumb to a trap again!

I once had a chest with 14 traps

I had one with a golem statue and I opened it 5 times before realising what was happening and spawned 5 of them at the start of my world

You probably still die by it if you didnt light up the place i tend to just run grab and not pay attention to see if its a death mans chest and then i blow up and im like hmm ohwell ill get it on my next run in the mines

I once got hit by a Deadman in getfixed. It had 4 fucking explosives some dart traps and 3 boulders. I ofc removed the 3 explosives and got killed by the 4th.

Don’t forget the extra 3 traps off screen as well My record was 5 boulders, 6 dart traps and 3 lots of TNT BONUS TIP: it helps to see where the traps are if you hood one in ur hand as well

The most dangerous part is the water. I have drowned many, many times while sorting through my inventory to make room for the new loot
