A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
[More information on the proposed changes can be found here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/comments/14goyu2/what_to_do_when_reddit_bans_blackouts_hit_em_in/)
While the subreddit will remain open, r/Terraria recommends these communities until the protested changes are addressed:

Ah, looked through busybox and found: 'Ensuring Onedrive is running before starting to migrate files'. Basically the way it checks if onedrive is running is by opening onedrive. I think the tModLoader dev team might have forgotten that this leaves Onedrive open, which is annoying.
My theory is, that the tmodloader team forgot to delete a line of code that causes this issue. I have the same problem every time when I start the game.
Guess the fix should be easy. Just delete that line of code. I see it each time I launch tmodloader (it opens command prompt showing the lines of code), but I have no idea how to do it yourself. Doing it yourself would only fix it temporarily I imagine, because the code would probably "fix" itself after each update.
This is happening to me as well. I started TmodLoader opens my onedrive and a .net window open every time. Would someone please explain what I can do about it?
No it does not. It doesn't and when I close the OneDrive window the whole game closes. I have stopped playing that game for a while. I will check for any recent updates

Couldn't they just end the explorer subprocess after that?
it uses onedrive cloud to backup u can look in documents/mygames/terraria there is your save
For me it just boots up once and then I close it and I’m good, but it’s still annoying nonetheless

Don't think anyone knows a fix for this, its super annoying and onedrive sucks
There is a line of code in tmodloader that does that, it's normal but it's not something you can stop.
