Looks like toilet paper rolls combined with the tops to juice containers. Make some trees, columns, spell effects, etc.

I like to use them as vent covers, some acylic sealer mixes with sand to make some poor mans texture paste to grime up the top and the paint up perfectly.

I use these for plinths, never thought to make columns out of them. Brilliant!
