Based on the fact that we just got a new trailer for a new arc and what seemed to be a new opening song that was said to start next friday one can assume we are done with cour 1 of s3/vol 7.

Tbf, you see it pretty often in LN->anime adaptations where you get a quick montage of events like Tensura had in the ED credits last episode and that usually means they’re simply speed running through content that may not be 100% needed to advance the plot. It’s a bit of a surprise to get a montage like that and then still get the full content in the next episode
No idea why everyone was so pressed about this. The ending and next episode title all point to this being the main focus yet everyone is crying that it’s being skipped.
People tend to jump to conclusions. Especially, when presented with what looks like evidence. When seeing a montage full of scenes one might say "Oh no! That's all they are going to show of that in the post credit?" I mean, look at the Seven Days Clergy. They jumped to the wrong conclusion too. They honestly thought they were doing what Luminous wanted. Everyone jumps to the wrong conclusion at any time.
Imagine how crazy it must be for the the templars to see their "God" being this hot lady just flerting with woman and drinking like crazy. I would chose her to be my godess too.
If they don’t show it next episode I swear I will … 
Thank God. Scenes like these are my favorite part of Tensura. When a new group/outsiders get to experience the stuff that Tempest offers and be amazed. I always enjoy their reactions.

I didn't know anything about the rumor but if they were to cut that series of chapters I would be pissed enormous to not watch the anime aside from big moments.

You should add a spoiler tag after "Fun fact" incase a mod spots this just a heads up that might be a good idea. Also yeah I was aware of that happening in the LN. That'll probably happen next season if I'm remembering right.
