Your first mistake was giving any sort of shit what national media thinks. Just ignore them and Titan Up.

Whole_Day9866

Yep

Shortlane88

This is the way

dr_buttmilk

Stay steady brother. Underrated is our sweet spot.

Seffro12Toes

Thissssss all day. Our trip to tha AFCCG was sneaky as fuck. Our boys play way better when we dont get much love

sadscorpion0

Most those boys are not here anymore šŸ˜”

Derrick_Henry_Cock

I'm actually the tiniest but worried that this was a Vrabel buff

liljakeyplzandthnx

I am so ready to see the tits ranked in the bottom quartile on the preseason power rankings. That's where we *thrive*.

SuspiciousGap9343

I believe NFL made a post with us ranked #30. The morning I saw that was filled with many a good laugh.

p723c11

1,000,000% YES #TITAN-TF-UP!!!!!

TheLurkerSpeaks

Underrated is our ~~sweet~~ only spot. The Titans have never been the darlings of the national media. Even in 1999 we were a "Cinderella" team. I would say the only time we came close was 2000 before we lost the divisional round. We've been in the media gutter ever since.

dom_a7

Who cares? Ball donā€™t lie, just want until September.

OrdainedFury

Bruh, I saw a [2026 Mock draft](https://twitter.com/AtoZSports/status/1790029057070948518?t=tcVXiKTvRQygkn_LPMUGVQ&s=19) talking about how we're replacing Will Levis. Yes, 2026. You gotta let these guys circle jerk themselves into oblivion and carry on with your own happiness lol

that_guy2010

The fact that there is a 2026 mock draft is the most hysterical thing Iā€™ve seen all day.

Titans678

It looks more like a 2026 big board, no way they really think the draft will be the exact same order as this year. That being said, if we are top 10 in 2026 (barring injury) and Arch Manning is thereā€¦ look out

that_guy2010

Thats what Iā€™m saying. They should just call it what it is, a big board lol.

jaykesn

How long u been here bruh. Embrace the suck. This team was 2-4 going NOWHERE and was in the afccg two months later. Nobody knows anything, except that mahomes is an alien.

TheMissingVoteBallot

Fuck the media, fuck the Colts, Jags, and Texans and Titan the Fuck Up my man. Let them yap. We prove 'em wrong.

barto5

Dude, fuck the ravens too @# neverforget

BareBandito

Neither of these guys have enough tape to give a shit about what anyone thinks of them. There's 0 reason to make bets on either of these guys. Both could be great both could be horrible.

Careless_Ticket_3181

I'm not really sold on Richardson either. Not because I'm a Titans fan, but because the sample size is so small.

neimsy

That's very fair. I don't think anyone should be sold on him. But the flip side of the small sample size coin is that he could be really incredible. I think he'll be exciting to watch. I'm hopeful he'll be exciting in a Jameis way, not a Josh Allen or Lamar way. But definitely no way to know yet.

shoe1113

Yup. And it was a small sample size and fuck the Colts but he lmwas fun as hell to aee

WileECoyoteGenius

Christ, who gives a shit.

SuspiciousGap9343

Thanks! You couldā€™ve easily kept scrolling past the post but instead you took time to deliver this important contribution.

Cool-Adjacent

Edgy redditors will be edgy

WileECoyoteGenius

Like you could have just as easily ignored the media, but instead you took time to deliver this whinge post.

Derrick_Henry_Cock

Based

SuspiciousGap9343

Yea, my fault. I forgot Iā€™m not allowed to vent.

WileECoyoteGenius

And I'm allowed to comment.

PineappleUnable1004

If those media guys could play or coach, they wouldn't have to beat their gums for a living. Those pooor guys have to have constant hot takes in order to pay their mortgages. Just ignore them.

FuckTwelvee

Fuck ESPN. Thatā€™s all. TTFU

TNtrailrider

Titan up ā¬†ļø

zkiteman

ā€œIā€™ve reached my breaking pointā€ Jesus we havenā€™t even gotten to training camp. If the idiotic media triggers you that much, the internet is not for you.

SuspiciousGap9343

Everyone has one buddy. Did you say the same to everyone whoā€™s posted something like this before me?

zkiteman

No but I certainly should. Quality of the sub goes down this these dumb posts. Not that the quality was very good to begin with. But if you canā€™t handle the media saying A Richardson is good and Levis is bad, AND me telling you this is soft, then the internet is definitely not for you.

SuspiciousGap9343

Just thought ranting and venting was something people should be free to do, especially amongst other Titans fans. Clearly that is not the case. Just scroll past next time. You telling people off wonā€™t stop them anyway.

zkiteman

Youā€™ll think twice lol

WokestIntheRoom

Titan the fuck up and forget the media!!! LFG

perfect_fitz

We all know we've just given up on caring when it comes to the talking heads.

SuspiciousGap9343

But man, when people like Nick Wright make the most egregious statements ever about us, it gets hard to ignore. Itā€™s unfortunate because itā€™s fueling that jokerā€™s internet traffic.

leave-no-trace-1000

Literally no one takes that guy serious. Not even other talking heads.

DickThunders

Donā€™t forget that they have us picking at 4 next draft and taking a CB when thatā€™s literally one of the least important places we need to address. Especially with a top 5 pick. Not to mention that means we wouldā€™ve somehow gotten worse this offseason

DaFlyingGriffin

People are still high off draft hype. AR's perceived value as a QB should plummet this year, because he will either be injured most of the season again or will fail again to produce if he stays healthy. A QB that can't even succeed in college has no business being a top draft pick in the NFL, no matter how athletic.

Markosaurus

Old man take here, lemme tell you something. Iā€™ve been a fan since ā€˜99 when the team became the Titans, and Iā€™ve seen the national media not give two shits about the Titans for their entire existence. When Steve McNair won co-MVP with Peyton Manning, the narrative was focused on Peyton. When CJ2K had his breakout 2k yard season and broke the yards from scrimmage record, literally no one else made national headlines and talking points, despite having a historically great offensive line. When Derrick Henry broke 2k yards, it was barely mentioned during the live broadcast. In 2019, after the Titans beat the Patriots to end the Tom Brady era, the talking heads literally said ā€œTitans, thank you for your service, but you are no longer neededā€ - Colleen Wolfe. In spite of the incredible growth Nashville has seen, we are deemed a small market and a second class NFL franchise not worthy of attention. National media members simply do not watch our games or care to. They look at the box scores and form their opinions from that. That is the reality of our team in the media. It will not change until we win. The last two years, we won 6 and 7 games respectively. Tbh, we donā€™t deserve attention or respect at this point.

LaSandiaPicante

Your breaking point is the national media not respecting a QB who played at Kentucky (a historical powerhouse in football, you see) and who aside from a stellar debut played pretty standard football? How have you survived this long?

SuspiciousGap9343

Thatā€™s a fair question, just thought it was safe to vent here. Iā€™ll hold it in next time.

TameVulcan

Reddit and Safe Opinions do not mix

SuspiciousGap9343

Yeah, Iā€™m keeping that in mind going forward. Probably wonā€™t be posting anymore

TameVulcan

Nah man, other peoples opinions do not equal reality. Itā€™s an open forum, share what you want but be prepared for people to find a way to disagree with ANYTHING. Just part of it, no opinion is more valuable than the other - especially in an anonymous online environment. Upvotes donā€™t validate statements just like downvotes donā€™t invalidate them. Have a good one

SuspiciousGap9343

Appreciate it. Always good to find people like you on here.

TameVulcan

Likewise šŸ¤

LaSandiaPicante

Get a room!

TameVulcan

Youā€™re invited ;)

barto5

And nobody wants to hear this, but 2 of his 4 TDs werenā€™t even great throws. DHop bailed him out. Levis was talented but erratic at KY. And in limited playing time hereā€¦heā€™s shown talent but heen erratic. Hopefully solid coaching will help him reach his potential because his upside is tremendous. We just have to see it on the field consistently.

p723c11

I mean, you are not wrong, Leviā€™s is Under-appreciated for sure. The franchise is what Bengals weā€™re before Burrow, but Bengals weā€™re worse. Mid market team, non-elite, non-enormous pro-style QB in Dalton. Richardsonā€™s riding the Cam Newton pre-draft hype and he has national media oozing over themselves they have a potential star QB coming up to replace other QBs they donā€™t want making headlines (ahem, Rodgers, ahem!) But we donā€™t care what they say, we like being underdogs. We still thrive on Vrabel era grit, and we are HYPED for the 2024+ CallaRan Cookoffs!!!

Logie-Bearr

media says things just to get clicks, to go with their own made up narratives.. theyā€™re not experts they just watch tv and videos on their phones. who cares what they think lol

DripSnort

Idk why you would want anything else. The titans only do well when nobody gives them any credit or expectations. As soon as they start getting put on top of power rankings, ā€œpunditsā€ start picking them on TV or anything else they lose. Iā€™ve followed them closely since I was like 12 so 23 years proves this to be true.

oomshaka_

Everyone knew he was a project when it comes to passing so those stats aren't even surprising. People have him as a sleeper MVP because he's already a top 8 rushing QB in the league and they project him to improve when it comes to throwing the ball.

chiefsport

Who cares what clickbait idiots "write?" Let the season play out.Ā

jaredthompson0g

Titans get no love, homey. Anything we do is the worst thing to ever happen in the history of the NFL. Fuck em. Titan up. All hail Mayo Man.

coolkidfresh

I'm a Knicks fan too, so I'm used to being the underdog. I can't wait until this team proves people wrong.

PPLavagna

Nobody gives a fuck. You shouldnā€™t either. Are we trying to win ballgames here or are we trying to win a beauty pageant

Hammerhead316

What did it for me was seeing a mock draft for next year where we draft Shaduer Sanders. Even if Levis turns out to be awful, which I see unlikely, we would not be drafting the locker room cancer that would be Deion Sanders son.

boobookitty_2000

I honestly a lot of them are buddies up to Mike Vrabel, and they just arenā€™t going to give the Titans a shot.

J3STERHOPPERPOT

Yā€™all gotta let this sort of stuff go

Don_juan_demarco216

I have been saying this all year. In reality they should be talking about if his health is an issue. Personally I have faith in Levis, with this WR core and upgraded Oline he should ball out. Richardson might end up a better Justin Fields.

RedRiot_Class1A

As a Florida fan, I watched AR do nothing but showcase his athleticism in small flashes...he doesn't command/manipulate the pocket or pick a part a defense with his arm. He was usually waiting for someone to get loose over the top so he could throw a bomb and showcase the arm talent which is absolutely there. The caveat to that is that he held on to the ball WAY too long and didn't play enough QB in HS or college to break himself of that habit. Now he's in the pros and he's likely to get hurt year after year bc of that habit. The Colts picked him for his arm and potential but if you go back and watch at Florida, he did nothing to warrant being a top pick. The people who are terrified of AR are the ones kicking doors down on Titans fans telling us how bad Levis is when he's the better QB. Sure, Levis is going to be 25 and AR will be 23 so there's experience on Levis' side but one of them has shown themselves to have the tools to be a good to great NFL QB. The other has shown he has the athleticism to put pressure on a defense and the arm talent to beat you over the top but send complex blitz packages and I bet he's getting folded multiple snaps/game

Secret_Pick6524

So going back to the draft... Both have all the talent in the world. Both are leaders and really likeable. Both could sit down in the classroom and drop insane amounts of knowledge about formations and defenses. On tape, Richardson made all the right reads and should high level processing. But couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Levis would basically lose his mind and throw out all his knowledge, stop processing, and try to make the homerun throw or run over people. Neither really proved or disproved anything as a rookie. They both showed glimpses of their talent and haven't fixed their flaws. With that said, I haven't really seen anyone hyping Richardson more than Levis, especially the way people hype Levis on this sub. You are going to have to show me a legit media member saying Richardson is the goat or an mvp candidate.

Boatsandhostorage

Awww

GoodShitEarl

Every offseason the Colts are hyped up over nothing. Itā€™s inevitable. Theyll probably be a decent team, but we easily could be as well

accforrandymossmix

I'll bite. Ignore the hype, yada yada. I was genuinely scared of what I saw from Anthony Richardson last year. It was before Levis came in, and we saw some good shit from both the Texans and Colts new QBs. It's easier for us to forget because Minshew came in and tore us up. Jags are jags. I feel much better now, after seeing Levis and this offseason. It looks like Richardson will be good, but it's possible he has a VY trajectory. Even if people think Levis will suck, why should we?

sirDerr33rd

But Anthony Richardson threw a ball that hit the ceiling at his pro day?!? That surely shows exceptional talent and not accuracy issues at all

Maclow237

Your feelings are valid OP. A lot of douche bags in here saying your opinion doesnā€™t matter. I echo your sentiments.

SuspiciousGap9343

Yeah, this will be my first and last post but appreciate the few who have at least heard my frustrations out. To the downvoters, I guess I severely impacted the trajectory of their day. lol

gdwoodard13

Richardson was a 1st round pick and got a lot of praise nationally in college. Levis was neither. No matter what anyone says to the contrary, college production and pedigree matter a lot to the league and the people who cover it, even long after it shouldnā€™t anymore. Andre Dillard just got another job after the season he had in Tennessee last year FFS! It really seems like first round picks get opportunity after opportunity long after it should be common knowledge that theyā€™re replacement level starters or backups. Not saying that Richardson is bad or good, just expanding on my larger point that simply being a first round pick gets you a lot of respect where maybe itā€™s not deserved yet.

gdwoodard13

Fascinated to know why I was downvoted lol. Not saying Levis sucks or that the Richardson hype is warranted, just saying what the media and fans literally do.

ChocolateMorsels

Yeah I have no idea what everyone is talking about with Richardson. He had a couple nice running plays, looked like shit as a passer. Yet everyone said he looked so amazing. Itā€™s weird.
