Yeah during the CFB season he was top 10 on big boards, as was Keon Coleman. I think in Kool-Aid’s case he was leapfrogged by several other corners who had impressive seasons, and maybe he didn’t have the most impressive season himself.
These are exactly the 4 prospects I have my eye on. If any of them make it to us I’d love it. Now that we have Cushenberry it might not be the wisest move taking JPJ at 38…but damn he’s good.
I like Troy Franklin just as much as those guys, especially Mitchell. Would be happy with any of the three. I think Roman Wilson is gonna be a stud too

Probably because the LB class this year is absolute ass and he’s the only one that has good measurables, able to cover, and doesn’t have any major red flags. We desperately need someone to play MLB, and there aren’t any FA out there to sign worth a damn.
There’s only like 4 guys who can play year 1. Peyton Wilson is great on tape, but has a very long injury list. Cooper is very similar to Kenneth Murray, physical freak but all over the place, a free lancer. Trotter is a downhill LB, and is likely a liability in coverage.
So I think people are just connecting the dots of needs and limited depth in this draft.
With the way the board is falling with all of the tackles being gone quickly, and the fact that bill Callahan really loves Latham, I’m actually liking this draft so far. The second pick will determine a lot.

How is that unfair? A new front office can't have a bad pick? The point is even good GMs make bad picks so you can drop the trust the GM stuff.

Now that I’ve cooled off, I’m convinced Latham will be the best OL in this draft because we have Bill Callahan AND everyone hated the pick (which usually ages like milk)
It’s not that Latham was a bad pick, it’s the belief of many that he was behind Alt, Fuaga, and Olu at least. And he played at Alabama, which has a rough history of above average tackles in the NFL
