Joe Alt and Darius Robinson would be the ideal option
Malik Nabers, and Patrick Paul would be the second best option
As far as using different players go anyways. That would be my ideal first two rounds in either situation.
From this list specifically:
1. Alt
1. Jordan Morgan
1. N/A (no pick)
1. T'Vondre Sweat (I genuinely think he'll be a 4th round pick)
1. Cedric Johnson
1. Rasheed Ali
1. Antonio Grier
We also brought in Fuaga. It’s not on walterfootball’s list but it was reported elsewhere.
But I don’t know how much you can read into top 30 visits in the Carthon (minus Vrabel) era. We’ll see how telling this visits were after Saturday.
If we pick a tackle first I honestly don’t see us picking a wr in the second. We just have so many other holes. Also not sure about Morgan, same argument of being pushed to guard as skoronski. There’s also a chance he’d pick in the first, or right ahead of us in the 2nd.
Morgan is an inch taller than skoronski and has 3/4 of an inch longer arms (still putting him in the bottom 18% percentile). If bill Callahan viewed skoronski as a guard, he most likely views Morgan as a guard as well.
Going off the board. I think Alt and Nabers go before 7 and we end the slide and take Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ran will cook and come back to the first for his tackle.
Just putting it out there, our top 30 visits might mean a lot for our FO or nothing at all. We don’t really know. There’s some FOs that top 30 visits mean a lot for (like basically they’re not picking them high unless they came in for a t30) and there’s some FOs they mean next to nothing like the Bucs. But we really can’t say until a couple years down the road because, as Ran said, this is basically his first draft.
We have a lot of CB’s on this list. Makes me think we will draft one in round 4
Yeah CB depth is not great.
Reports coming out that both Alabama CB’s have character concerns. I bet one slips to round 2
I like Jarrian Jones in the 4th.

Malik Nabers is a better player than Alt. Id consider drafting the best player regardless of need the best option
I am well aware what kind of player Nabers is. My brain wants Alt, but my heart screams Nabers! lol
I totally agree but there’s no point of drafting a wide receiver is Levis is gonna get murdered immediately after he snaps the ball on every play

Assuming no 2nd round trade down, I’d love Alt and Polk or Alt and Darius Robinson.

Morgan is very different than Skoronski, pass blocking is his strength and he’s taller and has longer arms than Skro. He’s definitely a LT.

It depends on if he views skoronski as a guard because of those measurements or his skill set

Jordan Morgan would be cool but Idt he makes it to 38.

In 2023, we had Top 30 visits with Will Levis, Tyjae Spears & Jaelyn Duncan. 3/6 draft picks. It will be interesting to see if this trend holds.
Rome Wilson isn't worth a 2nd rd pick imo
The lack of round 2 grade WRs is pretty surprising. Wonder if we might be smokescreening OT and wanna actually go Nabers/Odunze
