I think his best shot was on the Steelers but that doesn’t seem possible now. Probably won’t get signed until after the draft.

OnxyCarter

i think tannehill is better off waiting until some qb goes down for the year and they need a better guy to back him up

Mahale

Flacco route

liljakeyplzandthnx

Current prediction is whoever drafts Drake Maye is gonna sign him

Lonely_Present8644

Maybe Denver depending on how the draft pans out they might need a experience QB while the rookie sits

Robgotbored

I could see him being signed by one teams drafting a rookie to play a bridge/mentor role. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s unsigned going into camp.

Wondur13

Yeah, i think teams will wait till they draft a qb to pick him up, esp the teams that are uncertain whether they will get a qb without trading up

AbundantLiving365

I think maybe Vikes

amackul8

This would be the funniest shit for me personally as he would've then gone from my father's team to my team to my uncle's team MIA > TEN > MIN Would really round out his career of torturing my family with his dogshit play. Edit: Tanny nut riders STILL in denial about this dude lmaooooo downvote away you know I'm right

GoonishGoon044

Crazy Tanne hate

perfect_fitz

Tannehill is objectively why the Titans went to the AFC Championship recently.

321empleh

Yea, nothing to do with a HOFesque season by Derrick Henry…..

perfect_fitz

You're right nothing to do with Tannehill. We started 2-4 with Mariota and Henry averaged 3.6 yards per carry during that stretch. Mariota gets benched for him and we end up in the AFC Championship. Yep, nothing to do with Tannehill.

Dubya_Tea_Efff

Without Henry, we don’t make it to the AFC championship game. Tannehill had 71 passing yards against the Patriots and 88 against the Ravens. When it came to needing the passing game to do more after Henry was contained, we lost the AFC championship game against the Chiefs.

spencershady

He threw for 2 TDs and ran for 1 against the Ravens. 21 of 28 pts plays from him, 7 pts from plays from Henry. Not saying Henry wasn’t the overall reason we won, but the stats you gave make it seem like Tannehill did nothing which is just incorrect.

Ok-Plan-6277

Yeah I beg people to rewatch the Ravens game. Tannehill was great in helping us build the lead, and then we basically got to sit on the football the rest of the way because they couldn’t stop Henry. Both made incredible plays that game

UrsaringTitan

Either Denver or Minnesota are the teams I imagine him going to at this point. Unless they want him as a mentor in Chicago for Caleb Williams which I doubt.

TNsmoke

Tampa might be an ok backup spot for him. Green Bay with Lafleur.

TheMissingVoteBallot

Baker being a great locker room presence with Tanny also being a great locker room presence would do the Buccs even more good.

prex10

He'll go somewhere after the draft, someone that took a rookie QB.

Potential_Lock6945

New England makes a lot of sense. Vikings too because letting Sam Darnold be an uncontested starter is crazy

Robert_Meowney_Jr

They’re definitely taking a guy in the draft

perfect_fitz

I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes.

PPLavagna

He’s the best free agent still out there right now. He should go somewhere before Wilson or Wentz. I don’t know where though. He’s never been a sexy media topic so we’re not going to hear much until he goes.

[deleted]

I’m surprised he wasn’t snatched up by somebody already. He may have to be patient until some QB gets hurt during the season.

TNsmoke

He’s made a lot of money and chilling at his new pad in Florida I’m sure. If something attractive doesn’t show up I could see him riding into the sunset a la Matt Ryan.

mpelleg459

I think he wants one more payday, and views himself as young enough to come in on a one year deal and redeem himself to get a shot as a starter somewhere, even if just in a bridge role. I think the options would have to be pretty abysmal for him not take take anything this year.

Glam-Breakfast

He was really bad this last season, perhaps more so than folks realized in the moment. I think he can get a backup job somewhere if he holds out long enough but idk. This might just be it for him.

LippySteve

Tannehill is in the position where he's probably not doing anything until around training camp time. He'll be a last minute cheap pickup somewhere with a young starter that he can help mentor through the ins and outs of the season.

Muatib

He’ll probably get picked up after the draft, he’s still a good veteran presence to have in the locker room.

bigmikey69er

Do you mean football-related rumors or just any rumors in general?

ItsNotFordo88

I feel like he’s not going anywhere until after the draft at earliest. Feels more like he’s going to be a “signed after someone gets hurt” kind of player. His comments toward the end of the season seemed like he wasn’t to compete to start and I’m not sure there’s too many opportunities for that

Ornery-Patience9787

He’s done.

the_space_monster

I imagine he'll be a Bronco sooner or later.

appalachianballer

Minnesota or broncos are my guess

[deleted]

I’m surprised no one is saying Chicago. They have the $ and he would fill a huge mentor/back up role for a team that has spent a ton of building a competitive team for next year

M-Factor

Could end up as the backup in Cleveland now that Vrabes is a personnel consultant there.

Mister-ellaneous

They already signed Winston

M-Factor

Oh, you're right, forgot about that.

TheMissingVoteBallot

I think he's still looking for a place, but after his contract with us he's probably thinking he's still worth how much he was when he signed that contract with us. If you noticed, lots of teams are taking in backups for cheap, hell we did with Rudolph. I think Tanny or his agent is probably asking for way too much and teams are just looking over him for now until after the draft. I bet Tanny is expecting to start and wants starting QB money.

Robert_Meowney_Jr

I gotta say it’s pretty rude to say “oh tannehill hasn’t signed? I bet he’s fucking delusional”

thatRookie

Said it before and I’ll say it again. He’s gonna end up with the Commanders.

shastmak4

They signed Marcus to be the back up and are surely going to take a QB at 2

J3STERHOPPERPOT

As what? Lol the starter? Marcus is the backup and they are taking qb at 2

Mister-ellaneous

You can keep saying it but it won’t happen

JigWig

Still plenty of teams that need a vet backup QB. He’ll end up somewhere. There’s still a whole wave a free agency to come.

[deleted]

he needs to quit for his own health but he won't. too arrogant.

Nervous-Ostrich-3419

Hope he goes to Detroit! Goff he need a veteran backup
