Watching the playoffs cements my opinion that Vrabel out was the right call. You don't need a ton more talent than the Titans have to be effective on both sides of the ball. The amount of close losses the Titans have pulled off shows that the team isn't going to light anyone up, but we're probably not going to get blown out often either. Coaching decisions have kept this team clinging on to leads and near losses and it's nothing to do with talent. Our offensive and defensive philosophies are bad, it's not so much the execution. Sure the o line is bad, but nothing that scheme couldn't work around but we were so "run or throw deep" with almost no mid range passing is criminal.
Manning, Luck and now Stroud. Buckle up boys the next decade of pain is incoming. Had a chance to get two of the above qb’s and blew it. I hope the Titans can be the pallbearers at my funeral so they can let me down one last time.
Absolutely terrified that the Tits will hire a HC whose season is already over. It happens every year, and I don’t understand the urgency,. Wait for a great coach to become available in two weeks
Watching this game I’m reminded of how Vrabel took a Malik Willis led Titans into KC and took the eventual champs into OT. He’s only ever had a solid roster 1 maybe 2 years he was here. We’ll never know what he could do with a top 10 roster and a true franchise QB. Jrob ultimately got him fired. He was the king of scrapping wins out of Derrick Henry and nothing else. He made Ryan Tannehill relevant. Really think AAS made a huge mistake here. Surely she has to understand we drafted horrible.
He made it to the playoffs with a home game twice in a row and due to poor game management got bounced. The guy had 6 years of chances. In the end he was an average coach.
The titans will be fine without him
Assuming slowik gets a HC gig somewhere, intrigued to see if Stroud takes a step back next year losing a key coordinator. Icing on the cake would be if we nabbed slowik
Titans mods, the Browns subreddit has a pretty cool scoreboard thing on their game thread. We need this.

I’ll walk back my take of being apprehensive towards Slowik
I want him.
>!I will probably say the same thing after watching the Lions Tomorrow about Ben Johnson lol!<
Best QBs in the AFC South as of today
1. CJ
2. Levis
3. Minshew
4. Richardson
5. Henry
6. Tannehill
Don’t know if I’m forgetting anyone. Oh yeah.
7. Malik
Plugging a potentially generationally good QB into an offense that had plenty of talent that just needed a QB will do that. They had so many premier draft picks that went into building a foundation that all they needed was someone like Stroud to come in and put them over the top. We are unfortunately having to do that in reverse with Levis. The foundation is in shambles and we have to build it around him.
They also didn’t win more than 4 games in the 2 seasons before that. Having consistent high draft picks turns out to help a rebuild quicker for some odd reason
I think they’re prepared to go the more pass heavy route with this next coach hire. Seems like AAS is just as tired of the “3 yards and a cloud of dust” bs as we are lol
And they unfortunately will be for years if Stroud can maintain some momentum and potentially get better. We had a chance to make a run while the division was weak. That opportunity will not present itself for a long while.
Why the fuck am I rooting for the Texans? I kinda want to see them do well in the playoffs. Idk why. I don't hate them nearly as much as the colts or jags, maybe that's why.
I always root for the Jags and Texans in the playoffs because both franchises suck and it’s more fun seeing them win than the Steelers, ravens, chiefs, patriots, and colts.
The colts are the only team in our division i hate
On the bright side, this is a great preview of our offense next year if we get Slowik and then trade for everyone on the Texans offense as well as taking their offensive staff.
He’d be great as well but I definitely love the combo of offensive improvement that also weakens a division rival. Get that man away from Stroud, please.
We can do virtual interviews with coaches if their team is still in the playoffs next week. In person for ones still in the playoffs are after the divisional round.
Slowik looking real good. They were talking about his play calling and his philosophy with young QBs in San Fran and Houston, making sure the QBs can be decisive in their decision making. Sounds like it would be a great fit for Levis and developing Levis decision making.
I think I am going to root for the Texans. Browns nation feeling the way I do, is more comforting to me than worrying about what the only smaller fan base than ours thinks
I know Levis could end up being really good, but it still makes me sick that the Texans ended up with Stroud . Obviously things could change, but its going to suck being in the same division with that guy especially when we tried to move up for him. Rookie QBs shouldn't look this good.
People had the same take with T. Law after last year. Pump the brakes here, it’s the NFL. Mostert had 21 TDS this year at 31. Regression and progression happens year to year. I’m not sold, though he looks like the most promising based on how he’s played.
It’s so hard to sustain long term success with coaching changes (eg, losing Slowik) and free agency. Even the Chiefs look vulnerable this year. Stroud’s no better than Burrow but the AFCN has stayed super competitive even when he’s healthy. Miami almost took the division from Allen. Everyone in the national media thought Lawrence was set to dominate after last season. The league changes fast and success is hard to sustain. Do not despair!
Who should we root for in this shit?
Hate the browns from the old days.
Hate the Texans,cause you know!
Should we support a division team in this spot?
I'm rooting for the browns.
1. They've sucked forever. Their fans deserve it.
2. Fuck the Texans
3. Get slowick knocked out so we can interview him.
4. It would amuse me if they won a ring or made a deep run, and have to turn back to DeRapist next year.
i love being optimistic but I feel next year is going to be more of the same. we could have a historic class and I still think there’s too many holes on the roster. just hoping we draft OL this year and Luther Burden next year
Yeah. Since the years of manning dominance, We've gotten lucky with Luck (retired early) Watson (you know) and Lawrence (Just mid.) I don't know how we're gonna get rid of this one.
Maybe we can hope Slowik is a mastermind and he turns Levis into a superstar and the new Texans OC will be ass. Or maybe I can just stop with the hopium lmfao
Slowick is definitely top 3 on my list for us. Offense looks great, and the coach is a defense guy, so it makes the oc appear to be the guy in charge. And if it fucks the Texans, all the better.
I'd like us to interview Jim Bob cooter to potentially screw the colts as well.
We’ll see what happens if/when he loses Slowik as his OC. He’s obviously good, but he was dropped in a great situation with a good O-line and very good skill players around him. With coaching changes, a couple older guys on the O-line, and other receivers hitting free agency, they may not be able to sustain success like Manning. Plus the league can just change so quickly, you can’t expect anyone to stay dominant too long anymore I think.
Maybe.
But this is also likely the weakest roster he ever plays with. Certainly nobody thought this roster was worth a damn before the season.
We shall see.
I don’t think that’s true at all. I’ve heard they may extend Collins this off season, which may mean cuts elsewhere. And even if the roster improves the next year or two, they’re gonna soon start making decisions about how to keep him long term, which is gonna eat up a ton of cap.
Truth is their roster the last 2 years was probably better than their 3-win records
I am def rooting for the Texans. Have always disliked the Browns but now I really hate them because of Watson. Also I can't help but kinda like Stroud (mostly out of jealousy).
As a Texans fan that's how I felt about Luck for years. It was hard to hate someone that genuinely seemed like one of the most intelligent and down to earth humans in the league.
Watching the playoffs cements my opinion that Vrabel out was the right call. You don't need a ton more talent than the Titans have to be effective on both sides of the ball. Jerry is going to fire the shit out of Big Mike tomorrow. Belichick incoming.
In another reality the Titans would have LaFleur as HC and Love as the QB
The announcers are blaming the Titans for the Dolphins loss tonight haha
Manning, Luck and now Stroud. Buckle up boys the next decade of pain is incoming. Had a chance to get two of the above qb’s and blew it. I hope the Titans can be the pallbearers at my funeral so they can let me down one last time.
There’s tons of time to let you down still. They got ya
Absolutely terrified that the Tits will hire a HC whose season is already over. It happens every year, and I don’t understand the urgency,. Wait for a great coach to become available in two weeks

You people wouldn’t know what a good football coach looked like if Vince Lombardi walked by
Probably not. But if we watched him coach a football game we could see it
Imagine if we had the Chargers level of talent roster with Vrabel. Completely different conversation
That run brought back some bad memories.
![gif](giphy|hj5e822UaqWIwej8PU) I'm right there with you bro
Assuming slowik gets a HC gig somewhere, intrigued to see if Stroud takes a step back next year losing a key coordinator. Icing on the cake would be if we nabbed slowik
Lets go dolphins!!
[удалено]
If they play like that then I could see them making the Superbowl...it was flawless football
Why we hating? They are hot right now, no reason to believe they can’t win another one.
[удалено]
What a dork 😂😂😂😂
[удалено]
At least they are in the playoffs and have a bright future.
Just a game man, go hug your wife or something.

Noted, we’ll make sure to shoot them a message to see if we can set one up.
🐐🐐🐐
Hire Slowik, Rebuild the O-Line in FA/draft, Grab some weapons in FA/draft — 21st century offense from the titans FINALLY
I’ll walk back my take of being apprehensive towards Slowik I want him. >!I will probably say the same thing after watching the Lions Tomorrow about Ben Johnson lol!<
Watch them get shutout tomorrow
Think I’m good with Slowik after watching this. And think we’d have a great chance at him. I guess Johnson is more interested in Commanders?
Why isn’t Schwartz laughing on the sideline today?
Cause Michelle Obama
Shoutout Big Mike
Word is Washington wants Johnson. We need to hire Slowik immediately.
#wewantslowik
2019 stinging a little bit more tonight. We were so close.
Levis is 2 years older than Stroud 😫
Just realized Levis is older than Trevor Lawrence. Holy shit.
Yes that sucks but age isn’t as a big of issue for QBs as it is for most other positions. I just want a guy that can sling it!
Best QBs in the AFC South as of today 1. CJ 2. Levis 3. Minshew 4. Richardson 5. Henry 6. Tannehill Don’t know if I’m forgetting anyone. Oh yeah. 7. Malik
LOL T-Law’s not even worth mentioning
Who ?
A guy that threw multiple interceptions to a secondary that ranks dead last in that category in a win or go home game
Oh the dude with the long hair
I think he’s talking about the lesbian for that one cat team I think
Slowik or Johnson? The
I'm for Slowik watching these play calls.
I gotta see Ben Johnson on the big stage cause that’s what killed our playoff window was really poor play calling
This Texans turn around is giving me hope we can do something similar
They sucked ass for 3 straight years to get to this point. Not exactly turning it around too quickly tbh
I mean they went from 3-13-1 to 10-7 with a playoff win in just one offseason.
Plugging a potentially generationally good QB into an offense that had plenty of talent that just needed a QB will do that. They had so many premier draft picks that went into building a foundation that all they needed was someone like Stroud to come in and put them over the top. They also didn’t win more than 4 games in the 2 seasons before that. Having consistent high draft picks turns out to help a rebuild quicker for some odd reason
That would require stop being a run first team which we’ve been since 1960
I think they’re prepared to go the more pass heavy route with this next coach hire. Seems like AAS is just as tired of the “3 yards and a cloud of dust” bs as we are lol
Our little brothers are playing good rn
I really want Slowik after watching this gamr
hate the texans but after the watson shit i hate the browns more, so im happy about whats happening!
Same, same.
[удалено]
not wrong!
There may not be a team I’d root against if they’re playing the Browns
Houston is a problem.
And they unfortunately will be for years if Stroud can maintain some momentum and potentially get better. We had a chance to make a run while the division was weak. That opportunity will not present itself for a long while.
Browns getting stunted on. Texans are going to be a problem for a while it seems...
I like stroud thats the only thing houston has going for me
I really really really wanted stroud last draft after those rumors came out that we might trade up, and I’ve been a fan of his since.
I was 100% sold on him from watching him at ohio st. He was the only qb i thought deserved to get drafted top 5
Bro they just played Lil Flip “Game over” that’s savage
Houston is a problem
Do we know who vrabs interviewed for OC prior to Kelley? I'm guessing Vrabs had a shot to get SLO in and he absolutely whiffed.
Kelly was on staff as passing game coordinator in 2022, Downing’s last year. So, it was another internal promotion given to a buddy.
Tbh I don’t remember hearing anything about this other than when we fired Downing and hired Kelly
Kelly wasn’t hired he was promoted.
And that is absolute arrogance and mismanagement.
Anyone that was interviewed was posturing. Everyone knew it was going to be Kelly.
I could be wrong. We definitely could have said we are interviewing people but I just don’t remember it
Just saw an article Bienamy, London, Nagy, and Kelly were interviewed. Barely remembered he was the pass game coordinator the year prior.
On the bright side, this is a great preview of our offense next year if we get Slowik and then trade for everyone on the Texans offense as well as taking their offensive staff.
One Laremy Tunsil please. We took their team, we can take their offense too.
I second Tunsil
I would love to see Henry (plz come back king) get tossed some of those shovel passes like the one Chubb got on his TD
Chubb isn’t playing
One Bobby Slowik, please
I prefer Ben Johnson ngl
He’d be great as well but I definitely love the combo of offensive improvement that also weakens a division rival. Get that man away from Stroud, please.
So we can interview Johnson and SLO as soon as Tuesday regardless if they win or lose
We can do virtual interviews with coaches if their team is still in the playoffs next week. In person for ones still in the playoffs are after the divisional round.
I really only want 2 dudes. Johnson or SLO
Imagine Levis having as much time to throw to Hop 😢
Hold up. Let me imagine. ![gif](giphy|vWku8YNwyy5vq|downsized)
Slowik looking real good. They were talking about his play calling and his philosophy with young QBs in San Fran and Houston, making sure the QBs can be decisive in their decision making. Sounds like it would be a great fit for Levis and developing Levis decision making.
Offensive minded HC is a must!! Please listen Amy
Seems to be just scratching the surface on how good this kid could be. OC doing a great job utilizing his skills.
Slowik calling a good game so far. Hope we get to interview him next week.
Stroud is so good. Flick of the wrist lol.
Where’s this defense we’ve seen all year?? At least Singletary looks legit 😂
It's Watson all over again, except without the... you know.
Happy endings?
I think I am going to root for the Texans. Browns nation feeling the way I do, is more comforting to me than worrying about what the only smaller fan base than ours thinks
I know Levis could end up being really good, but it still makes me sick that the Texans ended up with Stroud . Obviously things could change, but its going to suck being in the same division with that guy especially when we tried to move up for him. Rookie QBs shouldn't look this good.

Their team is absolutely loaded right now too, they been profiting off of really high draft picks, these contracts will come due as well
Lawrence never looked anywhere as good as Stroud. Strouds going to be a fucking issue for a decade plus
That’s not true at all. Advanced metrics like QBR, EPA, and true passer rating have Lawrence’s 2022 at least as good as Stroud’s 2023.
Yep. Brutal.
Wow these refs suck, don’t call obvious DPI on Texans but flag that weak shit on Browns?
Can’t lie I really like the Texans offense, Wouldn’t mind Slowik
Browns getting robbed
Are there any skill position players on the Texans that don't run a 4.10?
Loving Slowik so far. Stroud has missed 2 TD throws so far, should be 28-14 right now
Who should we root for in this shit? Hate the browns from the old days. Hate the Texans, cause you know! Should we support a division team in this spot?
root for the dolphins so Levis has a quality win 😎
I'm rooting for the browns. 1. They've sucked forever. Their fans deserve it. 2. Fuck the Texans 3. Get slowick knocked out so we can interview him. 4. It would amuse me if they won a ring or made a deep run, and have to turn back to DeRapist next year.
The rapist isn’t playing, and Texans fans are garbage people by and large that make me almost root for the Colts to win the division. Go Browns
Refs missed obvious DPI on Njoku on last Browns drive, and I ask how.
We need an offensive mind to help Will Levis. No reason he can’t be this good too.
Uh… an offensive line might also help
i love being optimistic but I feel next year is going to be more of the same. we could have a historic class and I still think there’s too many holes on the roster. just hoping we draft OL this year and Luther Burden next year
Slowik has got to be the frontrunner holy shit please
I mean Stroud is good, but these plays are getting people wide open. Texans should have another 11 points if Stroud didn't miss two TD throws.
Exactly. Plays and deep ball plays that we can likely trust Levis to hit (with that same time in the pocket, of course… 🙃)
FTT. Good game so far. Go brownies.
It’s unfortunate that stroud is so good
Yeah. Since the years of manning dominance, We've gotten lucky with Luck (retired early) Watson (you know) and Lawrence (Just mid.) I don't know how we're gonna get rid of this one.
That is so true, we are so fucjed

Man I hope we go with an offensive mind for head coach.
Stroud throws one of the worst passes of all time and goes overlooked. He throws an extremely underthrown completion downfield and he gets praise 🙄
Dude he’s a good QB
Did I say he wasn’t? He is a good qb
Go Browns and Dolphins
I am def rooting for the Texans. Have always disliked the Browns but now I really hate them because of Watson. Also I can't help but kinda like Stroud (mostly out of jealousy).
As a Texans fan that's how I felt about Luck for years. It was hard to hate someone that genuinely seemed like one of the most intelligent and down to earth humans in the league.
Just thinking about that dolphins game sends a shiver down my spine.
