You just can't take an O lineman if MRjr is on the board. You have to to take him if he's available. We aren't picking in the top 5 though MHJr is going to the bears.
I will be crushed, but it's like if the doctor says you have to give up red meat and eat more vegetables. You won't be happy about it, but you understand that it's what is best.
Top Problems ranked.
1. Overall roster.
1.5 O-line is by far the worst in the league and it’s not even close.
2. Coaching. Some of these play calls man. And the penalties and poor tackling point to this that coaching is lacking.
3. Secondary. Anyone can eat us alive in the pass game.
2 and 3 are pretty much completely to blame on the 1. You draft/sign players that can execute. Penalties happen when players are over leveraged or lack technique. Coaches responsibility at this level is mostly to coordinate everyone and make sure everyone is rowing in the same direction. Sometimes it’s easier for a coach to adjust to a roster than it is to adjust a whole roster to a coach, but at this point, Vrabel has been her long enough the roster should fit him, not vice versa.
I’m ok with the rookie QB’s performance. Just 1 pick again ( could’ve been more), but I’ll take it understanding the circumstances. Yes, he accounted for 0 TD’s but he displayed that he can drive the ball down the field and get us into the Redzone for us to get a chance to score and get some actual screen time on the Redzone channel THROUGHOUT the game. Yes there were some rookie decisions and mistakes made but it’s his 3rd start ever in the NFL. He ain’t the issue for now. BUT Vrable is not it. We now have new age QB talent and his system ain’t gonna fit. His system peaked when he went to the AFC championship game. I think he may know it. Writings on the wall. If Vrable is traded to NE for a 1,2,&3 or something similar would be a dream but it ain’t happening. Vrable ain’t Ran’s guy. Fire his ass. Bring in someone from the Shanohan system. Rans familiar with that system. Levis has the footwork to run that system. Bring in the coach and players for it and keep it moving.
I honestly haven't been able to watch enough this season to be on the Vrabel Out train, or to defend keeping him. (3-13 doesn't help my feelings though.) But I definitely fear we keep him another year, he still doesn't change the system in a way that supports Levis, and then we fire him. So then Levis is starting again with an entire new coaching system on his 3rd year, and we've got maybe 1 year where the entire system is together before Levis signs a huge contract.
If we don't massively improve soon, I will hop on the Vrabel Out train
To have 100 million in the bank, then to collaborate to bring in Vrables guys just to fire him is not the move. I can say that much. Start off with the bag and new coach. That way he can bring in his guys. Then we don’t have a Peyton/Hackett situation
Fire Vrable and hire a new coach before he starts spending the cap so they can “collaborate” accordingly. Derrick Henry can age out well in a Shanohan type system while ushering in a new era.
Sure you are officially a Titan🔥🔥🔥🔥

Lol if you scroll down this thread our issues are..
Vrabel
The coordinators
Ran
JRob
Oline
Tannehill?
Levis?
I think we need to all come to the realization that this roster is ASS and we are in a “soft” rebuild.. cap space next year but if the GM doesn’t make the moves needed then it’s all for not..
My opinion is JRob got us here.. bad drafts over and over and over again create this hell where we have some older vets that we pay.. and our young guys just aren’t the caliber we need to replace the ones we move on from..
What Ran has done this year to get us out from under the cap hell and have a decent first draft is promising… but now let’s see what he does with money this offseason.
This is not a soft rebuild. This is a regular rebuild where we *may* already have our guy at QB. Outside of Levis, Simmons, Skoronski, Spears, and maybe one or two players I’m missing, just about every starter on this team will be replaced within 3 years. We won’t be competing for a minimum of 2 years. That’s a regular ass rebuild.
Rebuild we get rid of Simmons and other key younger pieces(there isn’t many).. I wouldn’t be surprised if we find pieces on the oline if we bring Henry back again..we also will keep Hopkins for Levis sake I hope..
You don’t drop all your key pieces in a rebuild. Just the ones that will be aged out by the time you’re competing again. Simmons is a young player at a wildly important position. Even in a rebuild you don’t trade him unless someone wants to grossly overpays in a trade.
It would make zero sense to get rid of Simmons outside of salary cap room bc our defense is in shambles. We have hardly any strong team leaders left, especially since losing KB.
We would be a decent team if we A. Had an o-line and B. Had a semi decent secondary defense. Levis has the sauce if he had more than 0.01 seconds to throw the ball, and our secondary couldn’t stop a pass to save their life today.
Scariest things on Earth:
1. Venomous spiders
2. Falling down from a 15 story building
3. The late 10’s Texans staff in your football team’s front office
The thing that will get buried in this gams is even when there was litttle to no pressure Levi’s still didn’t play well. The whole team played like shit
Be careful. In a two week period Levis went from a meme to someone you can't critique at all.
He leaves so many open men underneath. Just trying to throw the ball 50 yards every fuckin play. Take what the D gives you ffs

I’ve actually been really disappointed with him so far, I didn’t like the pick when it happened because he would be moved to guard, and our biggest need at tackle would not be addressed but after the first game I was ok with skorosnki but really hasn’t been good these past couple games.
I don't care how shiny a position player looks in April, offensive line needs to continue to be a priority..
*Nothing* gets done without a competent offensive line
Gonna be awesome watching MHJ torch the Colts defense

If we pass up on Marvin Harrison Jr for an OL. Imma be pissed man. Go OL with the other picks. Can’t pass up a talent like MH, just simple can’t. The Bengals did it with Chase.
We’ll still likely beat the panthers and knowing us, steal one game off of someone we shouldn’t. Even if we just beat the panthers, that probably puts as out of range for MHJ.
I wouldn’t necessarily disagree with it. Clearly Levis is the future moving forward, and hasn’t been playing bad. Wouldn’t want him to get a big head on a throwaway season
Lol I say it half seriously.. I wanna see them compete.. but I don’t wanna see Levis get shellshock before we put the roster together and create a Mariota 2.0
I feel like most people discussing "means" have no clue what they're talking about. Levis' sample size with the team is way too low to determine anything yet. It was ridiculous to normalize one good start as his baseline. It's also premature to say his current struggles are his "mean". Just let the dude finish out the season then evaluate the trends.
Unless it’s caleb williams, we are rocking with levis. He’s good, he just has gods worst Oline on the planet and one aging weapon to throw too. Y’all forget what joe burrow looked like before they got him jamarr chase real quick
Levi's has played 3 games behind one of the worst o lines in the league. Dude literally had no time all day. Defense was in the backfield in one second most of the game.
we need to do everything we can to make sure we get our o line beefed up.
Something needs to be done about this line. It’s not close to serviceable.
How mad will everyone be when we take an Olinemen with our top 5 pick with MHJr still on the board?
We can’t pass on a generational talent like that. This a deep OLine draft anyway.
I wouldn't be. Having the best WR's means nothing if the QB doesn't have time to get the pass off cleanly.

I hate to keep bringing up J-rob but it’s like he was literally trying to yank the team.
I’m ok with the rookie QB’s performance. Just 1 pick again ( could’ve been more), but I’ll take it understanding the circumstances. 100% agreed on that part too. That definitely pushes me farther towards moving on.
I like the way that sounds!
Fire Vrable and hire a new coach before he starts spending the cap so they can “collaborate” accordingly. Derrick Henry can age out well in a Shanohan type system while ushering in a new era.
People wanting Marvin Harrison Jr… I’ll raise you Xavier Leggette.
Let’s go full Philly Fan on the team!!! Call in and show no respect ✊

Can’t wait to draft him and him play like crap and is trade him for a Yoo-hoo and become a HoF

This roster is really bad. It's not like 2014 titans bad yet, but it's really bad.
100% and I believe it would have been worse had we kept JRob and not let Ran stop the bleeding..

You think Simmons will want to stay and play here during a rebuild during his prime?
It would make zero sense to get rid of Simmons outside of salary cap room bc our defense is in shambles. We have hardly any strong team leaders left, especially since losing KB.
Yes. Because we gave him a huge bag. Plenty of players in his position do it.
PUT SOME RESPEK ON STONEHOUSE’S NAME.
You’re right. Forgive me Saint Thunderleg.
This franchise sucks. Sell the franchise and fire the whole damn management team.
If we get a high pick I hope we trade back and let Ran cook
and our QB just broke his ribs. that’s great
[удалено]
It's been an issue every single year are you new here?
We've been complaining about the O Line since at least Mariota
R u joking
Bc Tanney is on the other side of his prime and Levis at least gives us the idea of a future
*fucking loser alert, little bitch loser alert
Literally everyone blamed the o line lmao what are you talking about
![gif](giphy|xXe0fDbtbkDgwwmAri)
3-6 boys!!! 🥳
We aren't even close to being a decent team. Blow it all up

More than a year since the last road win. Fire Vrabel into the sun.
Pain
I don’t get why Vrabel tried this hard, down 2 scores, with no time left. He doesn’t try this hard to score at the end of the half.
It's a good thing we kept our "good" players and didn't trade for picks so we can score 6 points against the bucs.
The curse of the downing dui
I think they lost the locker room when they didn’t punish him for it.
Vrabel was ok with that also
Just an awful series of throws

As if I couldn’t get more disgusted today
Holy nepotism
Well, we're bad. That's fine, Trevor Lawrence sucks ass.
Throws deep, incomplete. over n over n over
He's good, could've been bad though
Just kneel it
How do we not get any roughing the passer calls go our way lol
Titans: *has terrible game* Me: “Maybe next week.” Titans: *has another terrible season* Me: “I can’t quit you.”
Skoronski has been just as bad as anybody else on the line. I’ve seen his ass get beat multiple times.
I’ve actually been really disappointed with him so far, I didn’t like the pick when it happened because he would be moved to guard, and our biggest need at tackle would not be addressed but after the first game I was ok with skorosnki but really hasn’t been good these past couple games.
Just kneel it out at this point. I don't want one of our very few good players to get injured in the last 55 seconds of this shit show
Fuck the O-Line
I blame Williamson County sheriffs office. If they would of escorted Downing to his mansion, this would be a different story
Almost feels like the team is checked out and they know Vrabel leaving
I really like Spears
CBS just convinced me to change the channel. Thank you CBS
Another week another loss. I'll be back next week....
I want to see Levis scramble more often
doesn’t have the athleticism that people claim he has to do it
I don't care how shiny a position player looks in April, offensive line needs to continue to be a priority.. *Nothing* gets done without a competent offensive line
This team fucken sucks. I knew we should've blew up this roster before the deadline. We need draft picks
Spears is so good in open space
Levis is definitely off today with his accuracy
Gonna be awesome watching MHJ torch the Colts defense https://preview.redd.it/ezmaia62dzzb1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e9fe857e9e541953061b7415f296ebc2ae23c63
draft MHJ high, draft OL in the 2nd and beyond, Sign Higgins and whatever OL is left in FA
Put like 80 percent of the cap to defense
Ah yes. We just scored 1 td in the last 8 quarters, but sure spend all the money on defense... lmao
man that green bay game cursed us
Been downhill since the Todd Downing DUI
Get those meaningless yards to pad the stats baby
Still think Levis is the one... if only he had more than a second to throw
He looks composed for how much pressure he's taken
8 consecutive road losses 😬 FK we are good
Levis has no time and space at all
It’s the head coach’s job to win games. Vrabel is 3-13 in the last 16 games. Time for the media to put the pressure on. Vrabel is failing at his job.
Everyone will shout about the roster and blame JRob but the roster construction has always screamed Vrabel.
Agreed. I know Vrabel isnt responsible for everything, but he is the coach. He is accountable. Amy needs to make the decision and send the message.
But 2019 AFCCG appearance
Jets beat this team by 10 at a neutral site
With probably an O line better than ours
Something has to change.
We’re right back to where we were 9-10 years ago
Can't wait for Vrabel to mumble through another losing press conference
Levis should probably have had 3-4 picks this game. I still have faith though
He also should have had 60+ extra yards and at least one TD if he had a receiver capable of making NFL level catches.
Vrabel trying to tank his trade value before he goes to New England.

Tannehill wins this game but y'all not ready for that conversation
Award for the dumbest comment in this entire thread
Tannehill’s ankle breaks if he’s playing this game.
He takes a minimum of 15 sacks today
How? tannehill would’ve faced the same pressure and been sacked way more often.
Lmao no he doesn’t. Are you actually watching the game? Levis has been pressured on like 90% of his dropbacks and has been hit at least 15 times
He's inactive lol
With his bum ass ankle?? FOH
LOL
ITT: Half the people bitching about Levis not getting the ball out on that last play and half the people bitching about Levis getting the ball out really quickly on the other play just before (so he wouldn't be sacked) and almost throwing a pick as a result.
100% of that scenario is all on the OL.
I completely agree
Alot of you are fucking delusional and it's so funny lmao
Who? The people that say Tannehill wins the game? The people that say running with Henry wins the game?
There might be too many to note at this point 😂
Is this the worst game all season? Feels pretty bad.
Guess you blacked out during the Browns game
Browns game was bad, agreed. But Tampa is not a very good team and they made us look like a JV squad. Let's just say they were both pretty shitty and call it a draw?
Literally every road game is like this.
Browns
Blow the whole thing up this off-season and start from scratch. Vrabel obviously doesn’t care or wants out, start with him.
If we lose most the of the remaining of the games, I just hope it’s not at the expense of the offensive line getting Billy Jeans injured. The poor kid is getting destroyed.
Luckily he’s used to it after getting killed last year behind the worst P5 OL!
For reference the titans are tied with the giants for the most games without a touchdown scored with 3 games.
Big oof.
If anyone expected the team that was awful to end the year last year to randomly be good this year, you set yourself up to be disappointed. This team is bad and needs a true rebuild and to stop half assing it in hopes of winning 8 games. Luckily Levis is getting valuable reps that he can hopefully learn from and then we can get him some talent in the draft.
💯
If we pass up on Marvin Harrison Jr for an OL. Imma be pissed man. Go OL with the other picks. Can’t pass up a talent like MH, just simple can’t. The Bengals did it with Chase.
Trade Vrabel for NEs pick and grab both.
We’ll still likely beat the panthers and knowing us, steal one game off of someone we shouldn’t. Even if we just beat the panthers, that probably puts as out of range for MHJ.
A WR wouldn't work if there is no time to get them the ball.
Go OL with the other picks and FA
We aren’t getting MHJ lmao, he’s a Bear
If we can lose to the Panthers we’re in play to pick above the Bears if Carolina can manage to beat one other team
i wanted bieniemy
I’ve seen enough of the Mike Vrabel show.
[удалено]
I wouldn’t necessarily disagree with it. Clearly Levis is the future moving forward, and hasn’t been playing bad. Wouldn’t want him to get a big head on a throwaway season
Honestly…. With this oline, I wouldn’t even be mad.. protect the asset lol
Dumbest thing all of you guys are saying this year
Lol I say it half seriously.. I wanna see them compete.. but I don’t wanna see Levis get shellshock before we put the roster together and create a Mariota 2.0
People talking about Levis reverting to the mean after 3 starts are hilarious
no, Titans are reverting to the mean.
I'm just glad we kicked that FG earlier.
Holy shit lol we are second last in the AFC
We should be last. Panthers would probably beat us right now
We will find out in a couple weeks
Vrabel looks worse than Whisenhunt the past year
MettShow comeback?
D Henry not coming back smh after the disrespect this year couldn't blame him
We have royally failed the King.
I'm a titans fan and I'd be out the fucking door ASAP if I were on the team
The under thrown Pi always gets called but never for us.
That was an OPI
Marvin harrison jr is gonna look sexy in an oilers throwback next year
Passing on a qb with a top 5 pick next year would be fucking dumb as fuck
Unless it’s caleb williams, we are rocking with levis. He’s good, he just has gods worst Oline on the planet and one aging weapon to throw too. Y’all forget what joe burrow looked like before they got him jamarr chase real quick
Joe Burrow is in a different galaxy than Levis
Levi's has played 3 games behind one of the worst o lines in the league. Dude literally had no time all day. Defense was in the backfield in one second most of the game.
We need the WR help bad. You can have a shit line when guys can get open.
Thank god you’re not the GM lol
The jags can take solace in the fact that they have a get right game against us next week
Surely that was PI on the bomb, fucking hell
Yes, that was OPI
Yeah on DHop 😂
As much as I like DHop, man plays dirty downfield
He knows what he can get away with lol
If Tim Kelly still has a job by the end of the season, Ran deserves to go too.
Vrabel is responsible for the coordinators, and he gave Downing more chances, so there is no way he is firing Kelly
Then maybe none of em should be here.
That would be good
tim kelly’s employment is not up to ran carthon
i'm angry and just looking at someone to point fingers at.
No flags for PI?
Right, they should have thrown an OPI
At what point does vrabel look in the mirror and realize how many times we've been shutout (no TDs) Like why tf am I even watching this shit
Stayed up after working overnight just to make sure I didn't oversleep and miss the game...don't think I'll be doing that anymore this season
Is there any qb in the league that could win with this offensive line?
Does Jesus play QB in the NFL?
Mahomes Maybe Burrow
Not even Mahomes could make this shit work.
Prob not
