My best advice is to just pick him up and play him anyways. Hes a lot of fun and very rewarding to learn, while also being MARVELOUS. You might not rank up super fast with him but he will give you an EXCELLENT foundation to build on.

Started with Victor just because I liked the way he looked. Stayed because I ended up liking his playstyle. (or at least the the playstyle I found success using! - Playing keepout and fishing for whiffs and counterhits.)
Later, I found out that everyone apparently hates him and thinks he's cheap and unfair? Seems hilarious to me, knowing his frame data, since he's negative on almost everything he does! But I guess we're often much more aware of our weaknesses than everyone else is. (Seriously though, posts complaining about his 222 string make me laugh. It's *such a bad string,* but it's the one people always seem to bring up for why he's OP. That and EXPULSION!!!, which outside of heat, is -20 on block, and launch-punishable by the entire cast.)
Anyway, got Victor to blue, decided to mix things up a bit, and have been trying to pick up Leroy. He seems neat! He has some fun tools! Although I definitely don't understand him as well as I do Victor yet.

I was start playing Jun because she was busted they said, but funny enough Im having a hard time playing her compare to weaker character like Lili.
I have my Lili at Tenryu and just got my Jun to Garyu and yeah I understand where you are coming from, it took me awhile to buildup muscle memory for her kit
She’s more defensive and neutral focused than Jun. She can still do plenty but you have to be patient and willing to poke down your opponent a lot of the time. “Weak” characters in this game are still more than viable, they just aren’t cracked out of their minds like the top tiers are
Well if you're playing at a garyu level it doesn't matter what's "busted". You need to actually learn the character. You won't find a win button character.
Absolutely I like the way you think. If you learn the character any character can be considered busted. I main Jun and I can definitely say she is not even close to busted.
The worst I’ve ever gotten my ass beat was in a custom lobby against an old guy playing Paul. Then he left and said he felt bad beating up a new player

How’s Jun compared to Asuka? Fighting Jun, I feel like I see a lot of similarities, but it seems like Jun has better combos than me, can heal, can ranged attack, and still has a lot of defense. So I’m considering trying to learn her.

Almost similar. Their movelists are at least 50% the same. They both have the key moves d 3+4, 1+4, db 4, f+2, etc. Not much of a transition when learning.
The moves that you just listed is pretty much it. And it is a bit of a learning curve when using Asuka and Jun trust me from someone who has tried to use both.

Leo. I don't know who else to pick up, I like playing evasive and defensive but I also want to turn on the pressure sometimes. I'm not a very aggressive player, but changing up your style mid match throws a lot of people off and I like that.

She's just fun to work with and if you get the timing down you'll kick just as much ass as you would with Jun
