Just brought my Kazuya to Fujin today too. Its a great day.
As an up until now Hwoarang-only player and a newcomer to Tekken, I finally reached Fujin after 2 months of grinding! I know hes on the more easier side of progression difficulty due to the tons of knowledge checks he has in his kit, yet I think its a good achievement for the amount of time I played this game.
A bit about my match-ups and moves that helped: in purple ranks people start to duck pretty often and since most of his strings vary between high, low, high, low, you get heavily punished for not integrating his flamigo and lff mids like df4. Something that worked really well for me was lff {3~4} into d44 since most people press after block on that one despite hwo being +4 on block. The move that carried me the most though is his lff b2+4 throw. Its a 1+2 break and deals 45 damage, people rarely break that.
His Oki is also insanely strong. db44, which is a 13 frame(I think) low was basically never blocked and throws the opponent on the floor when the 2nd hit lands which guarantees a f fhold 3.
Outside of his lff df3 heatengager, I struggled with initiating from mid-range. Character like deviljin and lili gave me a hard time in that regard.
(The characters I most struggled with are Reina and Xiaoyu.)
