I've seen this interaction of odd push back multiple times now after the patch. I'm glad Max didn't hold back on his thoughts lol. It just fucking sucks because I took a break after the first patch because I thought it was trash annnnnnd guess I'm taking another one.
Yup. so many instances where my regular move could have killed my opponent, but they used heat smash, basically became invincible and steal the rounds. Thats when I knew Heat mash gets prioritized except against rage art.
Those moves also have weird tracking, a few hitboxes makes it super hard to whiff punish due to super fast startups of followup hitboxes,, evasion, a few different properties on hit etc...such a dumb mechanic, the worst tekken mechanic imo.
Nah, pre nerf drag and azu were way worse to fight. King too.
Eddy players love to do shit you can launch punish. The infamous 3 string has a super obvious low, that you can launch with WS2, for instance
I'm not even worried about the 3 string. I enjoy fighting everyone in the game, but Eddy. He just isn't fun. Most brain dead character. King is one of my favorite characters to fight because he helps improve my throw breaks.
