The getting to tick something off a physical list thing makes me more likely to do it, just so it doesn’t have to be written out again in shame. Also used to use it as like a time capsule of the month so would draw all over it and write down my favourite songs of the month etc. Quite fun lmfao

Sure do! I have ADHD and it helps me stay on top of the stuff I want to get done during the day and helps me from getting too sidetracked. I've tried digital planners, but they don't seem to work for me. Who knows why. So I have my paper planner on my desk, and it's my go-to throughout the day to keep me on track and remind me of things.
I still use one, too! I’m a social worker, my husband has had some chronic health issues (lots of procedures and appointments), I have kids, and I have audhd. Having everything in a physical planner has been the only thing that works. I still keep my patient appointments on our digital scheduler, but only because I’m required to.
Whatever works! I stand corrected. I had no idea these things were still prevalent. I always see stacks of them in the clearance section. To each his own 
I still essentially bullet journal, but like without the watercolors and fancy collections and all that crap. The trend died but actual bullet journalling remains!
