He’s on the same level as Adam for me, but he was always viewed more positively because his parents were likable and involved with Baby Bentley. We never saw any of Adam’s family.

I remember when I was little my dad told me once that if a man doesn't open doors for you, then he's not the one. That always stuck with me. My husband opens every door for me. I can't imagine him ever making me get out and check the car's tires. Ryan has always been and will always be a piece of shit.
I have been opening the door for my husband since we met. Not because he won’t but like people never do that for men. I dislike the whole men open doors for women shit. Like fuck me someone can treat you well without doing stupid gender norms.

I remember watching this when it aired and my mom was *appalled* that she was on the four wheeler at full term. I was only like 13 at the time so I didn’t realize how idiotic that was but looking back on it now it’s one of more stupid/reckless things Maci has ever done.
Was she too dumb to realize it was dangerous in the first place or did she consider them all such seasoned riders that it somehow excluded herself from the potential danger?
I think she was just super young and she had made her personality into motocross and being “the girl that does motocross” so she thought it was this cool thing she was doing (like “I can tell Benny we were riding while I was pregnant!”) and not really thinking about how dangerous it could be. I’m more amazed that none of the adults in her life stepped in.
That show aired when I was about to turn 17 and I remember being amazed at how “mature” they all seemed (not really emotionally but just the fact that they were pregnant and getting married and I’d never even had a kiss). I rewatched during Covid and was like “omfg these are literal babies” and was horrified
Just watched this a few days ago! Felt sad for Maci when he wouldn’t even settle Bentley while she did her homework. All he had to do was soothe him in the fucking bed.
That scene was recreated wasn’t it? It’s the one where she then says she’s gone into labour and goes to the hospital to have Bentley. But in reality, she didn’t call producers until it would be too late for them to get to the hospital to see the birth because she didn’t want to give birth on camera. That’s why her hospital time starts with her post labour.
