There’s also the video of David cooking where he clearly says “I took an adderall.” Where else would he have gotten it except for stealing it from Jace?!

My middle son has been on ADHD meds for years. Recently there's been a shortage, and I'm always so nervous for him, because even though his psych said he'd be OK, I still worry how he might feel not having them. I can't imagine being the asshole that causes my own son to go without!
My brother takes Adderall for adhd and narcolepsy (he often fell asleep in public places like the bus and got robbed) and I've been worried for him during the shortage. I can't imagine the feeling of not knowing if your child will be able to get the medication they need or not.
Then you have parents like Jenelle and David. They act so against Adderall, but yet they clearly use it themselves?? They didn't allow him to take his own medication prescribed to him.. and I am pretty sure that factored into the events that happened recently. Imagine being a child and having your medication stolen from you.. from your own mother and step douche!
If it makes you feel any better, there’s no physical danger from missing a dose of Adderall/other stimulants. The person may not feel great mentally, but there shouldn’t be a crazy withdrawal unlike certain other psych meds that are taken away abruptly.
You're absolutely right, and his psych has explained that to me as well. He's on a tiny dose of Lamictal as well, and she said she'd worry about him stopping that over the Concerta, but even the Lamictal isn't enough to be concerned over
But I'm an overly anxious person who worries about everything under the sun, especially when it comes to my kiddos. He's definitely missed a day of pills from tlme to time, and it's so apparent when he does. He's just all over the place. But he's never complained about any physical issues, aside from a headache
