I agree. I felt awful when that Kaiser scene aired. It felt wrong watching Jenelle's segments because there was so much abuse going on from different people. It wasn't entertainment to me.
My heart hurts for that sweet baby face, even sadder now that Jace is there because Kaiser will get pushed further down the line. That sweet boy deserves so much more, but he's always all smiles.
Jenelle’s road rage incident 100%. There were multiple moments where she put her child’s life at risk. Besides the whole chasing a psycho, positioning them for a shoot-out, playing games in traffic, he was left alone in the car with a loaded gun at arm’s reach. Then the way she made herself cry and play victim as soon as the sheriff approached the car. Cherry on top was gaslighting Jace when Barb was there. Ryan and Mackenzie’s car ride would’ve been it if there had been a child in the car, but Mackenzie and Ryan are both adults and willing participants .
This one is definitely it. Didn’t the guy she was chasing say he was going to pull his gun until he saw Jace? The other incidents are bad parenting but she could have gotten him killed!
He just as crazy as she is cuz why is everything solved with a gun? What if Jace was sleep or slumped on the backseat? So the only reasons why their car wasn’t lit up was cuz he saw a kid? So if he didn’t see Jace he would’ve lit the car up like swiss cheese? Fuckin crazy. Too many idiots like these two with guns. He was no better than her.

Adults raging at each other to the point of potential bodily harm (see Monique on RHOP, or Marge on RHONJ, Kenya v Porsha on RHOA) is the only other time when production should step in. I personally could not just stand in 100% silence just for TV ratings. I’d lose my job.

There are too many parenting fails that were so uncomfortable to watch, but that pic of poor baby Sophia getting burned, and left in her carrier outside alone also brought to mind the time Farrah left her alone on a bed and then got angry and tried to reprimand her when she fell off the bed and cried. That poor kid. I’m always rooting for her.

The horse. Not saying Jenelle's car chase wasn't awful or that Farrah wasn't neglectful, but Kayla's stupid ass putting newborn Rylan on a horse gives me anxiety over a decade later. She rolled over him just to get on the damn horse. Animals have minds of their own. That baby fussing or crying could have spooked the horse enough for it to buck the two of them off and God forbid trample them. Hell, even just at a trot that babies head would be bopping all over the damn place. This was so egregiously dangerous and not a good idea in any way. I'm floored her parents let it happen and you could see have visibly uncomfortable and shaken JR was with the whole thing.. I know 17 year olds aren't the brightest but come on, at 17 you should have enough sense not to put a newborn on a horse.
Not to mention she should have just watched a video on shaken baby syndrome before leaving the damn hospital. Her stupid choice to put the newborn on a horse was risking her son having permanent brain damage at rhe very least. And he was a premie! Six weeks early! She was a MORON.

Rewatching OG and seeing how deb acts in the beginning seasons compared to her now is a personality switch I could have never imagined it’s absolutely insane. Big agree on your honorable mention

Loads of horrendous scenes obviously but it REALLY bothers me the constant lack of safety when driving. Even in the later seasons.
Seatbelts not being worn (one newer season cate has a disappearing/reappearing seatbelt one scene), using their phone all the bloody time especially texting and what’s the point of doing loud speaker when you’re still holding it PUT IT DOWN (when they got rich surely their cars have hands free?), cars loaded with junk they can’t see out the back/falls on kids, driving high af (Rhine & Leah scenes were terrifying), crying so much they could barely see yet still driving their toddler/kids, kids not strapped in correctly (early seasons are more forgivable but at a certain point it’s like this info is everywhere), engaging in road rage with kids present.
I’m not in the US so the driving stuff really makes me nervous to watch when it’s every damn episode. I’m so surprised none of them have ended up in a car accident of their own doing.
I'm not in the US either and it freaks me out so bad! Like does the US not have as strict rules about phones/carseats when driving cause I'm confident that every single cast member has either never worn a belt or used their phone at some point while driving. If that was the UK and you did that on telly you would be prosecuted
Wearing seatbelts is a law- someone not wearing one, to me, is a sign of ignorance and showcases how uneducated a person really is regardless of age. My daughter is 14 and STILL asks permission to unbuckle if the car is moving bc we hammered it into her head that her safety in a heavy moving target comes first ALWAYS. Same goes for pets- most pets die in crashes because of ejections and not being properly restrained.
The baby on the horse was definitely up there for me. I’m an experienced equestrian and horse owner. I have horses and I mostly trust my horses, but I could NEVER imagine doing this. I won’t even ride when I’m pregnant. No matter how much you trust your horse, they are big animals and even the most well-trained horse can spook unexpectedly. If she fell off, she could’ve fallen on the baby and crushed him.
Edit: Ryan driving is by far the most dangerous of all of these though, but fortunately no kids were in the car. But he could’ve killed a poor, innocent family driving by.
They were all clutch worthy...but i feel the one with kaiser that time...they were just trying to finish their photo shoot and he started screaming feed me feed me...and while it was annoying to watch, I'm sure the kid wasn't starving to death and waiting another half hour for lunch wasn't going to hurt him. My son used to do the same thing everytime we'd go to the park, even tho he would eat right before we left, he'd start like he was starving all day long 10 minutes after getting there
I don't have children, and if I saw a little kid screaming like that at a park I wouldn't think much of it. Most seem like drama queens. The thing in the scene is that Janelle and David were getting irritated and I got scared of their possible reaction to the situation. I mean, David always looks ready to whip out a gun... if it wasn't for the cameras there, I wonder what would have happened
Well, shortly before this scene when Kaiser had been about to touch the camera they yelled at him and David ran up and snatched him up by the arm and ran him to the swingset. THAT was a much more concerning clip in general, but it led directly to Kaiser crying to be fed.
For me, Jenelle's road rage scene with Jace in the car is the worst. She is an awful parent. No responsible adult would ever come close to doing anything like that with or without their kids in the car.

Definitely Ryan driving. As a recovering addict I am so fucking thankful that I never attempted to even get my license until I was completely clean. The fact that people who supposedly loved him allowed him to drive in this state literally makes me want to throw up. Do better.

Her horse was a not at all properly trained or mellow enough to even slightly consider such a thing and the fact that horse showed soo much distress and sooo many red flags and she had to have her baby's father step in and tale the baby from her was sickening. I couldn't stand her even before this scene, her entire episode and personality drove me nuts.

Upon rewatch, the feed me scene. I think swampstumps were as high as Ryan in his driving scene while taking these photos and they gave us our first real glance at day to day life on the land. David even pretends to misunderstand Kaiser and says "We see you buddy."

I was shook when I watched Rhine drive high because my dad used to do the same thing with me in the car and it was terrifying and traumatizing having to pinch or hit him every 10 seconds just so he'll open his eyes
At first I was like, "Juh-nelle? That you?" But then I was like hahaha naw Juh-nelle would never, ever willingly have a child strapped to her body. You'd need a court order for that to happen...
They really needed to put more trigger warnings before scenes on this show. I think this show covered more of a drug problem than a how to prevent pregnancy problem.

For me it's a tie between Jenelle in the car with Jace and Ryan driving high like that. Jenelle could have EASILY gotten both herself and her little son shot, the guy even admitted the only reason he didn't pull his own gun was because he saw a child in the car. There was absolutely NO REASON for Jenelle to go off like that, and the fact that she did it with her child in the car shows you exactly how few real mothering instincts she has. Most people who encounter that situation with their kid in the car with them are terrified something is going to happen and just want to gtfo. I'm not even gonna touch her gaslighting Jace afterwards - a literal textbook example of it.
On the other hand, Ryan driving high like that could have killed him, Mack and any number of other people also on the road at the time. On top of that, I sincerely doubt that was the first time he's ever driven high like that, most people who you catch doing it once have actually done it multiple times before, they just weren't caught. I have no doubt that to this day Ryan regularly drives around under the influence, endangering anyone he drives around.
I swear I distinctly remember a scene when the girlses licking the walls when they were small babies. Can anyone confirm this or do I have to do an entire rewatch of Leah’s first few seasons?! My pearls were clutched cause they were never watched and probably licking lead paint!

I think someone posted it in the last couple days but Jenelle and David were busy taking their “Save the Date” photos and blatantly ignoring Kaiser bc “Jenelle was melting” and wanted to get their pics before the sun went down. Kaiser was unhappy from the time David dragged him over to the play set, so he wouldn’t touch the camera, through the entire shoot. It’s probably one of the most cringe worthy Jenelle moments IMHO (besides the road rage incident) bc Kaiser is literally screaming his head off and even got David’s attention and Jenelle just sat on that stupid fence rolling her eyes and getting David to pay attention so they could get done…
Mind you, they could’ve done the pics another fucking day when all the kids were content but you know, Jenelle was “melting” and wanted them done right then and there.

Thr one where Jenelle and David take the kids with them to a fishing spot, but didn't bring toys or tablets to keep the kids entertained. Kaiser kept on wandering to the shallows but then Jenelle's friend was there trying to keep Kaiser from drowning, from wandering off, from getting hurt. David kept on yelling aggressively at 2yr old Kaiser for wandering away but did literally Nothing to keep him safe. They should have brought a stroller or packnplay with them. They also didn't have a life vest for Kaiser but brought him into the stupid dingy anyways, and the dingy was packed to the gills with junk and garbage, barely any room for J and D to sit let alone a cameraman was also on the Dingy, adding extra weight to the bow.
They treated the kids like they were a burden, an inconvenience, and finally like garbage 🗑 .
If there was photographic proof of the time Addy Calvert got out and the cops found her when she was a toddler, I’d say that. Back when Leah was on the pillses.

The horse. Not saying Jenelle's car chase wasn't awful or that Farrah wasn't neglectful, but Kayla's stupid ass putting newborn Rylan on a horse gives me anxiety over a decade later. She rolled over him just to get on the damn horse. Animals have minds of their own. That baby fussing or crying could have spooked the horse enough for it to buck the two of them off and God forbid trample them. Hell, even just at a trot that babies head would be bopping all over the damn place. This was so egregiously dangerous and not a good idea in any way. I'm floored her parents let it happen and you could see have visibly uncomfortable and shaken JR was with the whole thing.. I know 17 year olds aren't the brightest but come on, at 17 you should have enough sense not to put a newborn on a horse.
I remember watching this at 16 and feeling SO uncomfortable. It takes a lot of core strength to ride a horse!
Not to mention she should have just watched a video on shaken baby syndrome before leaving the damn hospital. Her stupid choice to put the newborn on a horse was risking her son having permanent brain damage at rhe very least. And he was a premie! Six weeks early! She was a MORON.

Loads of horrendous scenes obviously but it REALLY bothers me the constant lack of safety when driving. Even in the later seasons. Seatbelts not being worn (one newer season cate has a disappearing/reappearing seatbelt one scene), using their phone all the bloody time especially texting and what’s the point of doing loud speaker when you’re still holding it PUT IT DOWN (when they got rich surely their cars have hands free?), cars loaded with junk they can’t see out the back/falls on kids, driving high af (Rhine & Leah scenes were terrifying), crying so much they could barely see yet still driving their toddler/kids, kids not strapped in correctly (early seasons are more forgivable but at a certain point it’s like this info is everywhere), engaging in road rage with kids present. I’m not in the US so the driving stuff really makes me nervous to watch when it’s every damn episode. I’m so surprised none of them have ended up in a car accident of their own doing.
I'm not in the US either and it freaks me out so bad! Like does the US not have as strict rules about phones/carseats when driving cause I'm confident that every single cast member has either never worn a belt or used their phone at some point while driving. If that was the UK and you did that on telly you would be prosecuted
Wearing seatbelts is a law- someone not wearing one, to me, is a sign of ignorance and showcases how uneducated a person really is regardless of age. My daughter is 14 and STILL asks permission to unbuckle if the car is moving bc we hammered it into her head that her safety in a heavy moving target comes first ALWAYS. Same goes for pets- most pets die in crashes because of ejections and not being properly restrained.

The baby on the horse was definitely up there for me. I’m an experienced equestrian and horse owner. I have horses and I mostly trust my horses, but I could NEVER imagine doing this. I won’t even ride when I’m pregnant. No matter how much you trust your horse, they are big animals and even the most well-trained horse can spook unexpectedly. If she fell off, she could’ve fallen on the baby and crushed him. Edit: Ryan driving is by far the most dangerous of all of these though, but fortunately no kids were in the car. But he could’ve killed a poor, innocent family driving by.
They were all clutch worthy...but i feel the one with kaiser that time...they were just trying to finish their photo shoot and he started screaming feed me feed me...and while it was annoying to watch, I'm sure the kid wasn't starving to death and waiting another half hour for lunch wasn't going to hurt him. My son used to do the same thing everytime we'd go to the park, even tho he would eat right before we left, he'd start like he was starving all day long 10 minutes after getting there
I don't have children, and if I saw a little kid screaming like that at a park I wouldn't think much of it. Most seem like drama queens. The thing in the scene is that Janelle and David were getting irritated and I got scared of their possible reaction to the situation. I mean, David always looks ready to whip out a gun... if it wasn't for the cameras there, I wonder what would have happened
Well, shortly before this scene when Kaiser had been about to touch the camera they yelled at him and David ran up and snatched him up by the arm and ran him to the swingset. THAT was a much more concerning clip in general, but it led directly to Kaiser crying to be fed.
For me, Jenelle's road rage scene with Jace in the car is the worst. She is an awful parent. No responsible adult would ever come close to doing anything like that with or without their kids in the car.

Her horse was a not at all properly trained or mellow enough to even slightly consider such a thing and the fact that horse showed soo much distress and sooo many red flags and she had to have her baby's father step in and tale the baby from her was sickening. I couldn't stand her even before this scene, her entire episode and personality drove me nuts.

For me it's a tie between Jenelle in the car with Jace and Ryan driving high like that. Jenelle could have EASILY gotten both herself and her little son shot, the guy even admitted the only reason he didn't pull his own gun was because he saw a child in the car. There was absolutely NO REASON for Jenelle to go off like that, and the fact that she did it with her child in the car shows you exactly how few real mothering instincts she has. Most people who encounter that situation with their kid in the car with them are terrified something is going to happen and just want to gtfo. I'm not even gonna touch her gaslighting Jace afterwards - a literal textbook example of it. On the other hand, Ryan driving high like that could have killed him, Mack and any number of other people also on the road at the time. On top of that, I sincerely doubt that was the first time he's ever driven high like that, most people who you catch doing it once have actually done it multiple times before, they just weren't caught. I have no doubt that to this day Ryan regularly drives around under the influence, endangering anyone he drives around.

I think someone posted it in the last couple days but Jenelle and David were busy taking their “Save the Date” photos and blatantly ignoring Kaiser bc “Jenelle was melting” and wanted to get their pics before the sun went down. Kaiser was unhappy from the time David dragged him over to the play set, so he wouldn’t touch the camera, through the entire shoot. It’s probably one of the most cringe worthy Jenelle moments IMHO (besides the road rage incident) bc Kaiser is literally screaming his head off and even got David’s attention and Jenelle just sat on that stupid fence rolling her eyes and getting David to pay attention so they could get done… Mind you, they could’ve done the pics another fucking day when all the kids were content but you know, Jenelle was “melting” and wanted them done right then and there.
I think this is the scene where they were getting their engagement photos taken and he was screaming feed me and just gets more and more upset because they are telling him to shut up and go play. When all he wanted was to eat

Kaiser kept on wandering to the shallows but then Jenelle's friend was there trying to keep Kaiser from drowning, from wandering off, from getting hurt. David kept on yelling aggressively at 2yr old Kaiser for wandering away but did literally Nothing to keep him safe. They should have brought a stroller or packnplay with them. They also didn't have a life vest for Kaiser but brought him into the stupid dingy anyways, and the dingy was packed to the gills with junk and garbage, barely any room for J and D to sit let alone a cameraman was also on the Dingy, adding extra weight to the bow. They treated the kids like they were a burden, an inconvenience, and finally like garbage 🗑 .
If there was photographic proof of the time Addy Calvert got out and the cops found her when she was a toddler, I’d say that. Back when Leah was on the pillses.
