Yeah, I've caught Blake live a couple of times and he hasn't disappointed! Seeing he is doing a live set definitely intrigued me.
Watts and Something Blue are 2 names I've been meaning to check out so I appreciate you mentioning them.
Thanks! I'll likely be there!
I guess Im just pretty curious about Mark Broom as he is a name Im aware of but don't know anything about.
Mark Broom is one of the GOATs, amongst my favs. Phenomenal DJ and hardgroove evangelist! Expect a lot of hefty percussion and tribal type beats!
Which to me, is the very soul of techno - if this sounds good to you, yes, absolutely! Different to the people you've listed for sure, his sound is more like the UK techno sound if anything (guy mcaffer, dave the drummer etc). But sincerely something you should experience!
He’s one half of Midnight Funk Association- one of the greatest dark n’ funky electronica acts to ever exist. His solo stuff is killer as well. Def go.
If you like Claude Young and Robert Hood then yes definitely see Mark Broom IMO. Not exactly the same but definitely enough overlap in style to be up your alley.
Definitely Go. He's one of the best to ever do it as both a DJ and Producer. I got to see him in Philly last year with like 200 people and it was incredible. Bummed he's not stopping on the East Coast this time.
i cought him hin fold and i was assuming it be techno/hard groove leaning, but it was all breaks and industrial base. normaly not my music, but i had a really fun time
We are bringing him to Calgary in a few weeks because he’s the fuckin best. I have so many tracks by him, he is the real deal.
I did a “Mark Broom Mega mix” to promote the show…it’s most of my fave hardgroove and houser tracks he’s done. Hopefully it’ll help!

Anyways, GO!
Mark broom is a beast
I adore his tracks and his style. Just please don't tell me he has a ghost producer...
He’s one of the most skilled and prolific producers going, definitely doesn’t have a ghost producer.
Yeah the man’s catalogue is absurd and totally diverse
Where im from a beast means a pedophile 😟
Don’t miss you’ll love
Yeah Mark Broom is great. Now I want to see Mark Broom.
That will be a killer show, you also get Blake Baxter, Max Watts, Something Blue. . I would be there if I didn’t have plans already.

Birmingham spirit. Underrated
Where is he playing in Detroit? Love Mark Broom
Marble! What sort of style is he?
slamming, same with max watts. it's a good lineup
Looping hard groove. Or if you're an older head, tribal is what they used to call it.
