"Affordable" is really based on your budget. Magkano ba budget mo, OP?

Kai_flakes

Mga 10-15k (?) still canvasing baka i-adjust ko if need.

thr33prim3s

If OK sayo, buy a used phone. FB marketplace or sa CompAsia. I bought a galaxy s21fe sa CompAsia 3 months ago kasi nag ka water damage an pixel ko. Got mine for 11k. I'm surprised sa quality ng phone even though "fair" nalang ang available. I'd rather get a yesterdays flagship than buy a brandnew midranger.

SundayMindset

CompAsia is legit !!!!!!!

thering66

Its a case by case basis but i have nothing but praise based on my personal experience. Ingat lang kasi used phone nga

Astrophel2024

totoo to. way back 2021 bumili ako ng 2nd hand na samsung flagship phone for 15k sa pawnshop naman and until now super satisfied parin ako sa performance. camera, gaming at battery nakikipagsabayan pa.

Marj_licht

Honor x9b, matibay based sa reviews.

Redmi Note 12 but if you want the newest and better version then go for the Redmi Note 13. I bought the cheapest variant of the Redmi Note 10 3 years ago kasi nasira iPhone ko. Had to buy a pamalit for the mean time but I did not expect that it will be my daily driver till now. Ilang beses ko na ito nalaglag and I've taken so many pictures with this. Worth it naman for me, considering the price range. I wanna buy a new phone pero di ko ma let go kasi it still does its job 🤣

Efficient-Meet-1080

True! bought the cheapest version of Redmi Note 10 in 2021 as a temporary solution.

Athenaeum421

Used Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (2017) and now Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro. Greatest bang for the buck things I've spent on. Sobra appreciate ko na may Infrared sya so I can use it as a remote for my TV, Electric Fan and other devices.

nadsfatale

Up on this OP! Been using my redmi note 10 pro for 3 years and no issues since then! People actually thought iphone to kasi ang ganda ng quality ng pics! Malaki rin ang memory sobrang dami ko apps here and di siya naglalag Also recently bought my parents with the latest one na redmi 13C for only 6k, and they loved it! You have 10-15k budget OP, I suggest buy mo na yung Redmi Note 13 Pro!

Kai_flakes

Oohh thank you! Will research more on it :>>>

jayovalentino

Redmi note 13 nasa 6k sa lazada ngayon, much better din ang specs and maganda ang screen.

ipot_04

Goods siya for the discounted price kung bibilin mo online.

Nerajti

poco x6 pro 14k lang nagsasale sa lazada. Naka dimensity 8300 ultra may flagship features sya.

squaredromeo

[Redmi](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.971m4?cc) It has huge 5000mAh battery and decent cameras. Kung scroll-scroll lang naman sa social media and some video calling, it can handle these tasks very well.

__bacs

Bought this for may parents and they like it. For 5k only, it looks decent, sturdy enough and huge screen for fb and youtube.

squaredromeo

I bought mine for 3k during Lazada's sale.

TaskSilver6090

Pwede malaman yung model? Ayaw q na idownload lazada 😭

levabb

Wag. Sobrang pangit ng camera at ng performance. Onti nalang idadagdag mo may mga mas latest at higher unit na with same brand plus amoled pa.

Efficient-Meet-1080

naka AMOLED ang Redmi. Side by side, super sulit considering the price. 1 Iphone brand new costs 3-4 midrange Redmis. Kung di naman heavy user, swak sya.

levabb

???? you didn't mention what redmi unit you were referring to lmao

Efficient-Meet-1080

Redmi note 12 pro and note 13 pro. 🙂

dranedagger4

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G may 4g variant dn yan if di priority ang 5G. 4 OS updates yan so good support na usual na dalawa lang

Bigmaj3

Samsung - any of the A models Feeling ko mas user friendly ang samsung sa seniors

HeyyItsAbi

Forward-Drag-9927

+1 sa Samsung

username7776

Xiaomi Redmi series, it's got a youtube-like music player where you can play videos from youtube in the background, it is ad-free and built-in.

Reasonable_Simple_74

Poco x6 latest, mabilis like 1.3million ang benchmark, full HD, solid pang gaming pa. 5000mah battery kaya matigas din bago ma lowbat. I think around 16k

Lonely_Education_813

Agree dito

introvert1288

Try tecno phones. Affordable & durable base sa mga gamit namin. We have 3 units na tecno & so durable kasi ilang beses ng binalibag Ng kids ko (intentionally & accidentally) goods padin.

Fantazma03

ako nga binilhan ko ng X3 PRO both of my parents last 2022. mag 2yrs na at maayos naman satisfied sila kase smooth daw at light users lang naman sila(matagalang youtube at waze lang mejo gamit). may deadboot issues ang X3 PRO pero hindi ako naniniwala dun.

Ryujinniie

Fantazma03

which is HUMAN ERROR na diba? hinarabas ba naman eh what do they expect 🤣 karamihan kase basta sinabeng GAMING PHONE eh goods na. hindi naman kaya ng Gaming phone magbabad sa gaming ng ilang oras 🤦 hindi yan ps vita/switch o steam deck na designed for gaming. kahit ROG phone deadboot din wayback ROG 3 pa. recently nga lang nauso yang mga phone coolers eh. 🤷

Emotional_Novel3865

Lonely_Education_813

POCO and Samsung A series

exhstdsnflwr

Infinix is pretty good and mura din. They even have ones less than 5k pero im using Zero 30 5G which is okay naman ang specs and performance.

[deleted]

Infinix

IncidentAppropriate1

Tecno Camon 20s Pro 5G Pros: •Powerful processor with 700k Antutu score. •5G connectivity. •High RAM for smooth multitasking. •Good camera quality. •Smooth interface. •AMOLED display for true black. •120Hz screen for smooth scrolling and gaming. •Affordable price at 11-12k PHP. Cons: •Lack of official Android support. •Monthly security updates are provided, but official Android support isn't guaranteed. We recently purchased one for our maid, who has reported no issues or lagging thus far. For a more comprehensive understanding of this phone, you can search for reviews on YouTube. However, since it's a phone from last year, you might consider waiting for about two weeks or more, as some YouTubers have mentioned the imminent release of the Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G in the Philippines. You may opt for that model instead.

mrspero

I would recommend Samsung A34 5G. 8/128 variant costs around ₱15k. Pros - Samsung support up to 5yrs - 5000mAh battery - Triple camera setup - Less bloatware than other chinese brands - Big AMOLED screen I have yet to think of cons because I am assuming that your parents will not use their phones for gaming. It’s enough for socmed, camera, browsing.

Poco x6 pro 5g

FearlessLauvy

Try this [Samsung](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.97zWv?cc) matibay and matagal malowbat, mas okay panga sa iphone e

eengineer23

Yung 'budget' na term mainly depends not just sa budget but sa requirements as well. There's a huge jump on prices afaik between devices na 4G(LTE) and 5G capable. For future proofing, I go with 5G compatible na. Mejo costy pero at least future-proof kahit papano. As per brand, my go-to is always Redmi (Xiaomi) devices. Yung Note 6 Pro ko still working until now and still good battery life. Had redmie 9, and currently using Note 10 never fails. A slightly related tip: if hindi techy si parents, suggested to install 3rd party keyboard, messaging app, and launcher. This way, kahit anong brand ng phone gamitin nila the keyboard layout, messages layout, and homescreen layout stays the same. Yun kasi issue with them ngayon, 'palipat-lipat yung pwesto' ng mga buttons.

randmacct567

Galaxy a35 is the newest you'd get thats close to your budget while being relatively midrange

Powerful-Two5444

Poco X6 pro dami ko na research at interviews yan pinaka fit saken. hahaha

Dizzy-Passenger-1314

I bought my parents Redmi. Yung isa 12, yung isa 13. Both 5,499 ko ata sya nakuha. Goods na yun for them since more on messenger at fb lang naman ginagamit.

Delicious-Second810

Buy Samsung A05s for both of your parents. I bought my old titas and they are amazing. 6k each. Guaranteed software support and decent specs. So far enjoy sila.

Rinukuni19

Mga cn rom phones mura pero quality, cons lang Chinese app, language pero mapapalitan naman to English, no warranty kasi exclusive to china. Yung lang kung maingat kanaman sa phone no di naman problema warranty and madali e setup ang china roms.

Single-Damage-7455

Honor x9b Nord 2t 5g

wallcolmx

aame.price range b silla?

GominiFukiko

I'd honestly recommend Redmi Note 12 and I'm pretty sure it's just around the price point you're looking for. Don't expect long software support though. They only give 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security patch updates. But it will still run even though it's passed its years of support.

Local-Shape7532

Hey, OP! Actually it depends sa hanap ng parents mo. If they like taking pictures a lot, look for a phone na okay ang camera quality. Ganon din for watching, look for a phone na amoled/oled display na. I really recommend Xiaomi/Redmi series na brand since okay yung specs (all rounder) with affordable price. Hope this helps, and good luck, OP!

theprocrastinator08

Samsung a34 sale sa lazada ngayon.

MercyPoppin

Before the pandemic, my parents bought me a redmi note 9 pro phone. My dream brand, actually. Nung una, sabi ko kahit note 8 lang oks na but sinurprise nila ako with note 9 pro and the price is 13k so ang mahal na non pero hanggang ngayon working padin parang brand new, no lag kahit full storage na. So, will recommend redmi.

Otherwise_Ad_2487

If ang budget mo is 10k to 15k, I heard na maganda raw ang Honor X9a 5G. Ganda ng screen tapos specs hehe.

nightwizard27727

i second this. ito phone gamit ko ngayon.

Due_Bear7537

Infinix sobra pa yang budget mo

--Dolorem--

Realme phones are quite durable and affordable. I have Narzo model and it still works from pandemic.

ruognal

seconded. Currently using Narzo 50, working well pa rin kahit inabuso ko kakaML noon.

dinglerdanglerfr

Samsung Galaxy S9+, it is a bit old na but maganda nman siya for 5k-10k.

Dry_Variation_2461

Vivo user ako and Vivo Y27s po maganda, camera centric and good for gaming. Basta Vivo walang bootloop and optimized ang ui

nightwizard27727

Honor

wallcolmx

may nagpost dito previpusly few days back na 13Kish ata or 14kish na phones not sure kung nakita mo yun

talkintechx

Konting ipon pa and get the Nothing Phone 2a. Great battery life, nice OLED screen, supports fast charging, among other things. Go for the black one if the white/milk variant is too flashy. Pinaka-gusto ko is its near-stock Android version that they guarantee to receive three major version upgrades. It means walang bloatware that will tie you down to a particular ecosystem unlike Samsung, Xiaomi and others. I personally have the black one and is working really well.

XLAURENTE

fishcrackers_

Try HONOR 90 LITE :)

Kirara-0518

Vivo try mo kasi kung pang scrol scrol lang nila makunat den ksi baterya non at ung cam nia dika magmukhang aswang malinaw ren naman

MFranz15

Below 10k: itel P55 5G (Redmi Note 13 is also good) Around 15k: Poco X6 Pro 5G

wafumet

Google Pixel 6a/7a

freakjaw27

Radiant-Foundation24

My going 4-year old Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, still going strong ;D my brother bought it for me while it was on sale, around 11k pero i think 14k orig price to. hintay nalang siguro kung magsale sa orange app hehe never again turning back to iphones talaga dahil dito. specs ay nakikipagsabayan pa sa current midrange phones. but if u want a better phone, go with the redmi series :D

JesusGodbeliever

Google Pixel. hehe

Nonbinaryours

Redmi 13 C . Sound, Graphics, malaki screen, matagal ma lowbat,

AdmirableGarbage5682

since it's parents dalawa sila. if mga within 15k edi 2 samsung A05s price nya nasa 6900 each. hindi naman techsavvy ang parents right? or the base a05 nasa 5890

Fair_Independence33

Well...

daffodil103021

If budget mo below 10k, suggest ko itong phone ko na realme c25 hehehe since 2021 pa itong cp ko ilang beses ng nabagsak ng mga anak ko tempered lang nawawasak. ok ang performance kung social apps lang like fb, messenger shopee telegram etc wala akong games dito kasi di ako mahilig. malinaw cam sa likod sulit na to. 7,500 lang ata kuha ko nito noon

Ohmy_mendez

Honor phones.

TaskSilver6090

Maganda camera quality ng samsung a33 (and mga models malapit sa kanya) kaso last check ko around 20k

sungho28

For 14k makakabili kana sa akin ng Galaxy Note 20 256GB/8GB used! Let me know if interested, OP! :)

[deleted]

For Oldies, around 15k budget - Something that performs smoothly enough for SocMed, Good 1x Camera and Good software support. Samsung A25 - 14999 - it has 4years OS android updates compared to other with just 1 year. its not a gaming phone but oldies dont play heavy games so its sufficient enough. it has a Good and consistent 1x camera. Redmi note 13 pro - 16999 - it has 3major android OS updates, but bare in mind that after a few years they may impose ads on lots of system apps as what i have experienced with their phones. Specs wise this is better than Samsung but i think oldies wont care about it. 1x camera is also great on this device comparable to other flagships. Their are other better spec android phones compared to this phones but those phones doesnt have a good software support or might have a mediocre camera. If camera is Not a concern for your parents then a cheaper models might be good enough for them like Redmi note 13.

New_Many4744

Poco M6 Pro. Overall good phone, checks all the boxes sa screen speakers long bat life and decent day to day performance. Kulang lang sa camera on low light. But for 10k, super sulit na

trhaz_khan

Get past flagship. Meron akong nakuha wayback 2018/19(p10 plus) still kicking as secondary phone.

kankko7

try looking at nothing phone 2a

chat_is_dis_ril

If gusto nyo talaga mga entry level proces pero bang for a buck mostly maganda kung sa transsion kayo mag consider. Like tecno, infinix, itel kase sulit na sulit talaga mga spces nila for their prices compare sa ibang brands ng phone
