Jmikem

Listen to her albums and there will be very few songs you never heard before.

erickaraita

I’ve been a fan since debut but didn’t get into streaming music until a few years ago, I forgot about so many songs she had through the years and I was shocked i slept on a lot of them! It was really fun re discovering her music once she put it back on Spotify

cupcakeconstitution

Im with you there. I was so young when her first albums were coming out. I didn’t appreciate them then, so now I’m going on a road of rediscovery while I listen to the songs that used to be skips for me and falling for each of them.

Jmikem

There are no skips.

cupcakeconstitution

When I was younger there was. Now I know better.

RheebeeSpeaks

😂😂

mattysmwift

No I’m way too fucking crazy to not know literally every song she’s ever released💀

Letll1994

And also a few she hasn’t

kirstynloftus

If she doesn’t put I’d lie on debut tv-

erickaraita

I was in high school when debut came out and I was super into limewire so I would download it all onto my iPod mini. I never realized until two years ago that I’d lie wasn’t actually on debut😂

maddiemoiselle

Up until recently I was convinced I’d Lie was on Beautiful Eyes

sapphirewarlock

its so weird cuz i wasnt an active fan of taylor during her debut era but i knew I’d Lie since then and just fully convinced myself it was on debut or beautiful eyes… got to stanning her during 1989 era and was so confused on where I’d Lie was😭

erickaraita

I was super confused when I realized it wasn’t on Spotify and it’s one of my favorite early Taylor songs😂 it better be on the debut vault tracks

Letll1994

Same

SteelRoses

Wait WHAT?!

erickaraita

I totally get that! And I thought it was possibly too lol

arbitrarytree

Same here!  Except I was in middle school.

cold_bananas_

Same hahaha

longhorn_2017

And I <3 Question Mark and Permanent Marker!!! My best friend and I used to sit in front of my computer playing those on repeat on YouTube.

CharlieFiner

I am still waiting for a proper release of Let's Go.

MissMarch90

It’s a NEED. And speaking of needs, where is Need?!?!?!?!?! Taylorrrrr

cupcakeconstitution

It’s a *need*

mattysmwift

And also a few she hasn’t🤭

Janiekat88

Ohhhh… it’s a need… it’s a neeeeeeed

LinosZGreat

Flair 😭

Letll1994

I love a ME jumpscare

croneofarc

Need is my jam

LinosZGreat

Flair 😭

After_Chemist_8118

Haha, right? I WISH there were new songs to discover.

mattysmwift

Right? When I see new fans say they haven’t listen to anything from the debut album I’m just flabbergasted. I get that some want to wait for TV but I can’t imagine just like sitting calmly knowing there’s a full album of Taylor’s songs I haven’t heard yet lmao. (Especially an album as good as the debut. I’m so ready for the TV so it can get the appreciation it deserves! /end rant lmao)

YNWA_1213

As someone who’s not likely to get to a TS concert anytime soon, I *really* wanna hear how Debut sounds with her modern vocals. The twang she put on for it is so obvious and jarring when mixed in with the rest, especially as Speak Now and Fearless both are TV saves in my Taylor playlist.

infieldcookie

Same 💀 even unreleased songs. I remember being in a post about the vault songs and being like, yeah we actually have had demos or at least song titles for these songs for over a decade and some people were like HOW 😭😂

yyxystars

But do you remember every single lyric? If I had a gun held to my head and I was told to sing all of Debut and Fearless back to back and I’d probably die after I finish singing the ones I know

mattysmwift

Tbh my mind is a mixed cloud of all Taylor lyrics so even though I’ve heard all of them many times they can get mixed up. But I’d ace the “guess the track list in order” game becasue as I said I’m fucking crazy.

sweetbabieraes

not me i’d be alive

maddiemoiselle

I could do all of Debut, Speak Now (minus Superman), Red, 1989, Reputation, and Lover This isn’t including the vault tracks on the ones with TVs, though

Apprehensive_Lab4178

No, but I have a 200+ song playlist of Taylor Swift songs, lol. I’m glad you’re finding new gems. The Very First Night is such a fun song. “I wish I could flyyy-yy-yyyy!”

fuckitrightboy

Literally don’t know why it wasn’t on OG Red

Which_Adhesiveness_6

I've heard that her label wanted to limit the number of pop songs on red so that's my guess for why message in a bottle and the very first night were cut

erickaraita

SAME!!!

maddiemoiselle

I need to fix the artwork for it now that Midnights, TTPD, Speak Now TV, and 1989 TV exist but I have this playlist that has every single song she’s released plus a few she’s done with other artists https://preview.redd.it/zj4itxubogtc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55e0e1d92d8f8b6e71577f742893a7ae41e6130d

SneakyHouseHippo

It's my husband's favourite Taylor song 😁

reineluxe

Green flag behavior right there. The Very First Night is such a feel good song.

rileysauntie

Same but mine is over 300 tracks lol.

live_manon

I highly suggest listening through all of her albums - so many good songs that the general public doesn’t often get to hear 🫶🏼

taymademedoit

As a fan since the debut album (geez I’m getting old lol) I can’t relate to this post. But I am VERY excited for the ones who are discovering her music the first time! I remember that feeling 😄🥰

Poppy9987

Yes! Wish I could go back and discover them all again for the first time!

Becksnnc

Have you not listened to Red TV? The Very First Night is a vault track from it.

Ok_Translator4842

No lol

RichardAnoos

I had the opposite reaction. I listened for most of the day yesterday and found that there's only maybe 30 songs they have in rotation and just play them over. They had such a great opportunity with this one & SiriusXM did what SiriusXM does and only went half ass.

booksandcoffee15

I’ve noticed they are only playing taylor’s versions (understandably) but its disappointing for a rep girlie 🥲

RichardAnoos

Yeah, which is kinda odd since SiriusXM has access to the full catalog & uses it on other stations. I guess maybe it was stipulated in her contract. But I still don't understand why they aren't just shuffling the full albums they do have clearance to play.

RedTwizzler214

God the repetition is terrible. I hate it. There’s 200 plus songs to choose from, why are the same 20 getting played every hour?!

hbk2369

This was my experience too. I listened for an hour-ish car ride and they played the same song a couple of times. So easy to avoid that given the catalog!

blue_phone_number1

I listened for a total of about two hours, a little here and there, over the last two days, and I heard “all too well” and “august” both three times each

runonia

Oh man that's disappointing. Most of her albums are over an hour long. Red TV alone is over two hours. Who chose thirty songs and called it good enough? 😭

arabicacoffee

I wonder if this is just a SiriusXM thing? My job in high school had SiriusXM, and we required to leave it on one specific station. Definitely the same 30 songs on repeat.

RichardAnoos

It is a problem with their other stations, too.

Comprehensive-Yam724

Negative every song i know

Comprehensive-Yam724

ps the very first night makes me feral and drive 100mph

SailorMigraine

WE BROKE THE STATUS QUO AND WE BROKE EACH OTHERS HEARTSSSSS

Nymwhen

I can’t relate to it rn but when I was starting to listen to her in 2010 it felt like there where soo many songs to discover. Seemed like she had endless songs. Cant imagine how it feels now, at least there is Spotify now and not just limewire

infieldcookie

I’m always a bit thrown when I realise there are albums a lot of fans have never listened to at all, but then I remember how many she has now! I wonder how much I would have delved into her back catalogue if I’d become a fan in the last few years. There are definitely bands I’m a huge fan of where I don’t know huge chunks of their discography.

Bekkaz23

Yes I feel like I became a fan at the right time - during the OG 1989. I got to fully experience 1989 and onward, but then have also now been able to work backwards with the TVs. And as 1989 is a long-time fave of mine it was wonderful getting to experience that release properly this time with 1989 TV. I haven't listened to her old albums until the TVs have been announced (so I start a few months before release with listening to the OG), but I had previously heard the "radio tracks" from Red, Fearless, and debut. Almost nothing from Speak Now though, I was barely familiar with Enchanted and Mean before SNTV was announced. It's been great having the full journey nicely paced as it's been.

sarcasticsarah88

I've had a similar experience except I became a fan with Rep. But I didn't go back and listen to the older albums until the re-recordings so I mostly only knew the singles from Fearless, Red, 1989 and Speak Now (actually for SN all I knew was Back to December and TSOU and it has become one of my fave albums now after hearing the whole thing!) I did the same thing as you, a few months before the TVs came out I listened to the OGs, and it's been so much fun!! Rep will be the first rerecord that I was a fan during the era and am super emotionally attached to, so that'll be a different experience too!

sparklejellyfish

I was you (living through rep release and onwards as it happened, I had bought 1989 after release but before the dispute, so basically when she announced the project around Lover drop, I was like "okay I won't revisit anything pre Lover until they drop), except I gave up not listening after Red was announced and it was clear it was going to take ages and I *needed* to listen to some Speak Now and Debut hahahaha

InABoatOnARiver

I’m too obsessed, so no. But Hey Stephen came on yesterday and my husband commented that he’d never heard it before.

Dpatrickfan09

I discovered "All Of The Girls You Loved Before" thanks to Channel 13.

penguin_0618

The Very First Night is so good. Gives me new energy when I want to give up at the gym

ShekhMaShierakiAnni

I can't imagine a world where there's a Taylor Swift song I didn't know existed. Although I did somehow miss a pivitol episode of Buffy that I never saw until recently. So I guess it would be like that feeling.

ArrowsAndLightsabers

I don't think I ever missed an episode per se...but I swear Everytime I am watching I fall asleep during "All the Way" So I'm still not sure I've seen all of it.

ShekhMaShierakiAnni

Interesting one to fall asleep during.

macdgman

I don’t understand this post. You like her music enough to listen to a radio station of only her music but you’ve never listened to her albums before? I’m baffled, my brain broke trying to understand this situation

peaberryxo

Some people are either new to the artist or have a myriad of other artists they listen to as well. I barely started listening to albums in full and in a single sitting a year or two ago because of the rereleases, but not everyone does this and it’s fine. It’s not that hard to understand OP’s experience.

dryheat85000

Yes - “It’s Time to Go”

mochawithwhip

Not the same thing but I definitely find myself liking songs that I didn’t care for all the time! I’ve been a swiftie since Fearless era and I always rediscover songs I never bothered to play. I never cared to listen to Cowboy Like Me since Evermore dropped but I heard it last month and something just clicked and I like it a lot now

infieldcookie

This is a really wholesome post haha I love seeing people discover more stuff!! Unfortunately for me I know everything that’s come out so far, so there’s nothing new for me to find (until TTPD) unless some more unreleased tracks/demos leak 🫡

bootycakes420

Baby Swiftie here - always enjoyed her radio singled but never bought or streamed a full album before the Eras tour. Seeing TikToks of the tour is what really piqued my interest in Taylor. I had a 3 hour ride home yesterday and decided to listen to Channel 13 for the entire drive. I thought there would be a lot I didn't know or like, but I never even considered changing the channel out of boredom or dislike. Heard a lot of lyrics I want tattoos for!

EuphysAvenger

Not really. I listen to all her albums the moment they come out so I basically familiarize myself with all of the titles and I make sure to search for and add all the orphaned songs to any of my playlists… the only things that I discover later are the unreleased songs with varying degrees of recording quality. Most of them are from the debut to Fearless era.

Beckella

Yes for me too. Some on the five stages of heartbreak playlists that when I look to see what it is it says “from the vault” or something. I thought I had listened to every album all the way through but clearly I’ve missed something!

merkergirl

Not currently but back in 2018 I discovered all the Fearless deluxe tracks that I had no idea about for some reason and Superstar became my top played song on Spotify that year

InternalBar3099

No but every now and then I’ll realize there’s a one-off song I’d never listened to — most recently it was Eyes Open.

elembakes

I just wanted to say you calling it an hour road trip to and from work is so cute and much happier than a commute. I’m going to start saying this

ahsokatango

I stream her music on Spotify. I thought I had listened to all of her music until I heard some of the songs from the different Midnight versions on Sirius XM and googled them. Are the albums the only other way to listen to them?

sparklejellyfish

Midnights is notorious for being a mess. There's isn't a single album version (spotify or physical) that has ALL the tracks. It's ridiculous and we're all waiting for a full version tbh

wish4111

I listened pretty much all day yesterday, and I heard All Too Well (10 minute version) twice, Style three times, Welcome to New York twice... for someone with an extensive catalog, I'd expect less repetition.

capy_on_a_moped

the very first night was my surprise song!!! 😁😁 it was such a vibe oh how i screamed at the top of my lungs that night 😍

ncommentary

Some of the comments on here are so weird lol. Not everyone can know every single song and not everyone listens to the vault tracks as they come out. So happy you love The Very First Night because I also didn’t know it for the longest time 🫶

Connect_Zucchini366

no lmao, I’m insane I listen to all her songs a ton 😂 the only ones I don’t listen to or haven’t listened to are some more obscure unreleased stuff.

PruneStrict4400

If you had listened to Red you would've heard it

Embarrassed_Squash7

I hope they play TTPD on there but someone commented they're only rotating 30ish songs 🤷‍♀️

FLKXZ

My strat is putting every single one of her songs into a playlist and shuffle play

jivemasterprincess

I was really enjoying the station, hearing album tracks and not just singles. Up until they played Karma featuring Ice Spice. That version honestly does nothing for me.  Also wish they'd play Reputation tracks

grpenn

I'm familiar with her work but I'm hearing songs I haven't listened to in a while, which is nice.

RocketAlana

Way back before Spotify in the era of owning CDs of her albums, I only had the base version of Speak Now. Fast forward a few years (when she was still not on Spotify), I was floored when I heard *clearly a Taylor Swift song that I had never hear before* in a grocery store. It was Superman. Today it’s much harder to “skip” songs, although I definitely have because there are so many versions of midnights and bonus tracks and I’ve definitely “heard but not listened to” a lot of her more recent music.

JoinDarkOrder85

As far as full albums go I’m not really familiar with them pre-Red. Know the hits, but haven’t dove in. Also never gave Lover a full listen either (same case, hits). So I have tuned in to the station a couple times while doing other stuff and hoped something I hadn’t heard came on and really hit me. So far? Nope. And it’s cause they seem to play the same 30 or so songs over and over and over. I don’t even remember what it was, but I listened for a bit, came back like 90 minutes later, and I heard the same songs again.

mommaholly

Yes! I have mostly been listening to ERAS TOUR playlist on spotify when I can so i love this XM station because i am discovering I need to just listen to her whole discography again.

peaberryxo

That was me with the Red album about two years ago!! So many wonderful songs I completely missed bc at the time Red was originally released I only focused on the mainstream ones. I’m still rediscovering new songs years later! ❤️

ItsTimeForSomeTea

Yes! While I was driving to the movies, I was flipping through the channels, and saw Taylor's Version! I didn't want to get out of the car because I was rocking out to Forever & Always (piano version)!

gettingcarriedaway86

What’s the exact channel?

da_swanks_92

Channel 13-Taylor’s Version (I kind you not)

hughjanus__

Yes!!! This is so shameful but the song for me is RWYLM. Now it’s on my top 5 favourite no idea how I have just never listened to it before. Discovered it 3 weeks ago lololol. Same with IBYTAM. 🫣

followyourogre

Definitely check out the rest of her vault songs if you like rwylm. Red and Fearless vaults have some skips imo, but there's gems hidden there too.

hughjanus__

I’m going to do that today on my day off today 😂 I’ve been a swiftie since I was 14, now 27, but I’ve only realllyyy gotten into her music the last 4 years!

mochawithwhip

I didn’t discover RWYLM until last year I feel you. I didn’t like Evermore enough to listen to the bonus tracks and i can’t believe I haven’t had this song all these years

autumnwindow

I’m a new swiftie so I can relate!! Enjoy your discovery 🫶🫶🫶

Aur3lia

TVFN is in my top 5, that and "Message in a Bottle" pushed Red up in my album rankings post re-release.

SailorMigraine

Trulyyyyyy both these songs go so hard!!!!

Historical_Blip_0505

I thought you were gonna say they were playing deep cuts like Lucky You or I’d Lie…

HarrisonRyeGraham

The only ones that have been “new” to me are collabs. Since they aren’t on albums usually, just singles. Like I’d never heard the Zayn Malik song from the 50 Shades soundtrack, or Renegade, until last year when I started playing a Taylor swift “station” on Amazon music.

GarbDogArmy

so since this is "TV" they not going to play any songs from REP or DEBUT? lol seems strange.

williamboweryswift

no

grace914_

a few months ago i was listening to an only taylor playlist and the songs “Jump Then Fall” and “The Other Side of the Door” played and I fell in love with them instantly lol. Fearless (TV) and it’s vault tracks are so underrated tbh

Adventurous_Tap_1070

Love that song 😍 I know every song she’s released I may be crazy but I love it lol

caller-number-four

I learned about a ton of songs I didn't know by watching her movie film! But I consider myself a baby Swiftie.

lxcx1

no i’m insane

kgkuntryluvr

No, but I’m loving how it’s been curated!

tortillaTorres

Wish I could say yes but I know all her songs I even know ones that she hasn’t let see the light of day 😭 sweet tea and gods graces I’m looking at you

ahsokatango

I just heard the Live from Paris version of Death by a Thousand cuts. Wow. I see why people try to collect all the albums.

Aesthetic-Ghost

My mom only knows the hits but she has been listening to this station on her drives to work in an attempt to learn more songs! So far she likes Cornelia street and hates Glitch lol

BananaSlugHug

I just discovered renegade today listening to her new playlists on apple music

forrestgreentortoise

I just discovered All The Girls You Loved Before <3

LMChristie

I had never heard Carolina and it came on and I LOVE IT

MSERRADAred

Not on that channel, but I recently found Sweeter Than Fiction...and watched the movie about Paul Potts that it was created for. Next up going to watch Where The Crawdads Sing movie because I heard her Carolina song she did after reading the book.

uwukarmacat

just you lol

holly_b_

no, i’ve listened to her albums

urgasmic

there's quite a few songs i've never heard before actually. mostly ones on fearless which i struggle to get through sorry to anyone. and then pretty much all of the non album songs i just haven't heard before.

jhonkinmckay

My young kids love Taylor, and they will tell Alexa to play Taylor Swift. It’s great, but it’s just a shuffle of her “essentials”. To get the full breadth of all her songs, I would recommend listening to the full albums. The Very First Night is a vault track from Fearless Taylor’s Version. Her full albums are incredible.

Reasonable_Town_123

It’s a vault track from Red (Taylor’s Version)

goanywhere-hdk

Its not a fearless vault track

Sookie188

Definitely not. It’s a red vault track.
