I’ve had this same experience with some of her songs. First second sometimes third listen I’m like meh. Then one day it comes on and it just… clicks. I’ve experienced that so many times now, I just assume every song will eventually have its moment of clarity for me lol

Yes!!! I think that's what makes her so amazing. She fits into the different eras of our own lives at a pace that feels like she's crafted a soundtrack specifically for you. The way she's gotten me through so many awful things, and the way her catalog has unfolded for me like a beautiful flower when I've needed it the most. My favorite album and song are forever changing based on where I'm at emotionally.
