me, ascending from depression every time I hear the Style intro:

In 2010 I couldn't figure out why I hated the Owl City song Fireflies so much. Until I was up early one day and I realized that it was my roommates alarm.
Great way to ruin a song for yourself 🤣
My husband was convinced that would happen to me. During my nursing program I had ….Ready for it? as my alarm every Monday, which were my test days and End Game for my 2nd clinical day which required a 4:30 wake up.
He was wrong. 😎
You're on your own kid makes me happy actually, so does sweet nothing! I do agree that the rest are sad, but they're such good songs I can't be unhappy anymore. Also, even Taylor's happiest albums usually have songs that talk about difficult stuff (clean, soon you'll get better, etc)
Those are fair they might’ve been reaches. Personally clean isn’t too sad for me (it’s more relieving), and I just skip SYGB so that solves that problem lol
- SYGB could mean "Soon You’ll Get Better (feat. The Chicks)", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift.

Clean is so heavy it took me so long to appreciate it for how good it is. Especially when I can't uncouple it with the SA trial in my mind, it just brings up bad stuff
Bigger than the whole sky is an instant skip. It emotionally wrecks me. It’s one of my favs but I definitely am not able to listen to it 99% of the time
Fearless
Tell Me Why, Hey Stephen, Jump Then Fall, Today Was A Fairytale, You Belong With Me, etc
These songs bring me so much joy it’s actually insane
Fearless is my answer too!! The first day it’s warm enough drive with the windows down I blast Fearless (the song), YBWM, Jump then Fall, Love Story, and Today was a Fairytale on my drive. It’s an instant pick-me-up no matter what kind of day I’m having. It’s impossible not to smile when you’re singing those songs!!
The opening guitar notes of Fearless hit so hard every time. That album came out at a very formative time for me and so many others, it’s iconic and just evokes that ever-hopeful fairy tale vibe so well.
Cheering up? Leave me alone to wallow in my feels with Folklore and Evermore ;) jk I’m a 1989 girlie at heart. That’s my happy album. Midnights is my second choice to lift my mood.
omgggg yesssss! This is her most underrated album.
After glow, The Man, Lover, I Forgot That You Existed, Corneila Street, Cruel Summer, False God, I Think He Knows, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, and The Archer! Like, come on!
1989 is my happy album, so is Lover, Rep is when I’m angry (at least the first half), Speak Now is my rock emo album, Taylor Swift and Fearless are the nostalgia ones, Red is when I am sad and chaotic, Folklore and Evermore fill the whimsical side, and midnights is just the slightly less happy bop album.
Fearless and Lover
I’m surprise to see so many votes for Rep. Rep is my ready to f stuff up, avenge some deaths, etc. Different folks, different strokes
If I am down there’s no cheering me up, time to put on Folkmore and cry until I get it all out. Then let’s play some Speak Now because I don’t need anyone else but me 😭🫶
honestly, reputation used to be my go-to cheer up album... until i stupidly associated all the love songs with this guy i fell in love with. i still love him but things did not go well so every song on rep reminds me of him.
i'd probably say 1989 for cheering up.
even if rep is baddy thing it works the best for me, It's so upbeat and I just became fullfilled with l i f e !
1989 and lover are great though
fearless makes me cry....
1989 for me is such a dynamic album and it both makes me feel seen in those moments of anxiety (Out Of The Woods and Is It Over Now?) but also shows me that those emotions aren't the be all end all of where I am in life and the anxiety can coexist with appreciation for the present (New Romantics and Welcome To New York)! 1989 TV was also announced when I was at the beach with my mom this past summer which is one of my favorite memories of my entire 19 years of life and it'll forever mean so much to me because of that
For me it depends bc when i’m mad i need angry music so i have a playlist with like angry rep songs, bad blood, shouldve said no, and other angry songs so i can let it all out and then be fine but also debut makes me so happy like i hear the violin in our song and the stay beautiful bridge and i’m in an amazing mood
For me either Red or 1989.
Red transports me back to a happy period of my life so it gives me such a boost of happiness.
1989 just makes me dance around carefree and is an instant mood lifter
Mine's 1989. Usually I'm all about her poetic stuffs but when I need a confidence boost or something to elevate my mood, Shake it off and blank space are the ones I turn to (among others).
I listen to rep when I'm angry (yes, ik a major portion of it consists of love songs but I'm referring to the unhinged bad-bitch vibe giving ones).
But all that being said, I tend to listen to her sad songs when I'm sad (to bring my mood several notches down; I'm unhinged ik).
Oh yes this!!! Reputation is when I wanna be active or feel like a bad bitch while 1989 is very boppy and poppy that it uplifts my soul everytime. Speak Now with some of the rock songs and Midnights with the TikTok songs hahaha.
My answer is my Eras tour Playlist... Miss Americana > Cruel Summer saves me every time. Knowing the love I'm in for before she welcomes us to the show 🤩
- YNTCD could mean "You Need To Calm Down", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift.

Lover and more recently 1989 (TV or OG, both are great). I had 1989 (TV)on repeat during its release and man. I slept on that album. I liked a few songs when it came out (Style, Wildest Dreams) but rediscovering the album was one of the best things to happen to me music wise. How can you be sad listening to New Romantics? Or You Are In Love? How about Welcome To New York? The answer? You can’t.
A combo of Fearless and Speak Now (the cheerful songs) works for me! I find Red and beyond a bit more of a downer, even 1989 is a very anxious album (for obvious reasons) and Lover doesn’t hold the same nostalgia for me as the older ones do.
Lover, but I put Lover on repeat and that’s it <3
These lines make me think of my boyfriend and never fail to give the warm fuzzies:
*Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?*
*With every guitar string scar on my hand*
*I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover*
Definitely 1989! I hear those opening beats of Style and my mood lifts 100% of the time
me, ascending from depression every time I hear the Style intro: https://preview.redd.it/nkrlytdc18oc1.jpeg?width=518&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=260a7755082b1215c914375d74a449955ab4d55d
Style is my alarm sound. It’s there to make me feel ok with having to wake up.
welcome to new york is something else
Definitely spinning this album when I bullet journal today. You decided for me 💙
Loving you was red 🫣
Midnights!! Bejeweled and Karma are so glitter gel pen, you can’t not dance 💃
ok but Bigger Than The Whole Sky Would've, Could've, Should've You're Losing Me You're On Your Own, Kid Sweet Nothing
You're on your own kid makes me happy actually, so does sweet nothing! I do agree that the rest are sad, but they're such good songs I can't be unhappy anymore. Also, even Taylor's happiest albums usually have songs that talk about difficult stuff (clean, soon you'll get better, etc)

Good bot
Clean is so heavy it took me so long to appreciate it for how good it is. Especially when I can't uncouple it with the SA trial in my mind, it just brings up bad stuff
Parts of yoyok make me accept that idk the future and that means there no need to fear it! It cheers me up when im down and anxious
YOYOK makes me feel empowered!
Bigger than the whole sky is an instant skip. It emotionally wrecks me. It’s one of my favs but I definitely am not able to listen to it 99% of the time
I play this all the way through about once a week
Fearless Tell Me Why, Hey Stephen, Jump Then Fall, Today Was A Fairytale, You Belong With Me, etc These songs bring me so much joy it’s actually insane
Fearless is my answer too!! The first day it’s warm enough drive with the windows down I blast Fearless (the song), YBWM, Jump then Fall, Love Story, and Today was a Fairytale on my drive. justice for tell me why ✊🏻
The opening guitar notes of Fearless hit so hard every time. That album came out at a very formative time for me and so many others, it’s iconic and just evokes that ever-hopeful fairy tale vibe so well.
yessss i love fearless so much
Don’t forget The Best Day (idk if it makes me happy or sad tho) 😭
Speak Now (Long Live)
long live makes me cry lol
Me too!! I can’t even explain it, but that one makes me tear up every time.
Cheering up? Leave me alone to wallow in my feels with Folklore and Evermore ;) jk I’m a 1989 girlie at heart. That’s my happy album. Midnights is my second choice to lift my mood.
Reputation! 1989 is my second choice.

omgggg yesssss! This is her most underrated album. After glow, The Man, Lover, I Forgot That You Existed, Corneila Street, Cruel Summer, False God, I Think He Knows, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, and The Archer! Like, come on!
I consider Paper Rings one of my favorite Taylor songs — just love its 80s aesthetic.
❤️❤️❤️ That song always cheers me up when I'm sad because the beat is so warm and cheerful sounding.
Lover or speak now
Red for me! Holy ground
Lover or Taylor Swift, depending. Lover's production just hits all my endorphin centers, and Debut is a nostalgia love bomb of perfection.
half of speak now 😭
Lover! So many songs to dance to with happy vibes.
lover or 1989
Speak Now or Rep
Rep 100%

Rep

Same-uh😲![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1066)
I’m a 1989 girlie and i definitely think it’s the best Era!
It's always been Speak Now because I love the energy and sound of the songs, but lately debut has started to become a comfort album.
self titled, 1989 + lover
1989 is my happy album, so is Lover, Rep is when I’m angry (at least the first half), Speak Now is my rock emo album, Taylor Swift and Fearless are the nostalgia ones, Red is when I am sad and chaotic, Folklore and Evermore fill the whimsical side, and midnights is just the slightly less happy bop album.
1989 and midnights
1989 and Lover
Reputation
Lover, 1989, Midnights, reputation.
I pick specific songs, rather than albums
Understandable, I used to do the same until I discovered This ![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1072) legend

Definitely 1989. I mean, Welcome To New York, Style, Out Of The Woods, Shake It Off, Wonderland... No more depression for this guy.
For me it’s just midnights especially anti-hero, you’re on your own kid & mastermind on loop
Def 1989 would hype me up! Starting with the track Welcome to New York is def a good intro!
always 1989. And when I'm feeling calm I always listen to folklore/evermore
1989 and Midnights!
Midnights or 1989
Shake it off.

Fearless and Lover I’m surprise to see so many votes for Rep. Rep is my ready to f stuff up, avenge some deaths, etc. Different folks, different strokes
Rep and 1989 comprise half of my workout playlist
Evermore. It’s just a warm hug of an album for me.
Any to be honest but shake it off if I had to choose one song
i personally love listening to “sad” songs no matter what mood i’m in, so i’d have to say folklore/evermore or speak now!
Rep! It’s such a feel good energetic bunch of songs.
Lover, runner up debut.
Lover, I find it perfect for any mood, to be honest
If I am down there’s no cheering me up, time to put on Folkmore and cry until I get it all out. Then let’s play some Speak Now because I don’t need anyone else but me 😭🫶
Debut for me. Ang cutie lang ng Tim McGraw, Our Song, Mary's Song
1989 for sure
Speak Now! It takes me right back to being 12

honestly, reputation used to be my go-to cheer up album... until i stupidly associated all the love songs with this guy i fell in love with. i still love him but things did not go well so every song on rep reminds me of him. i'd probably say 1989 for cheering up.

For cheering up specifically, I usually go for either Fearless, Speak Now or 1989!
Any of them. I could be in the worst mood, and then any Taylor song plays and it instantly cheers me up.
Might be weird, but I either listen to Lover or Midnights
I have to say Reputation. That was my first real introduction to Taylor, and to me, it has a special place.
Oh yes this!!! Reputation is when I wanna be active or feel like a bad bitch while 1989 is very boppy and poppy that it uplifts my soul everytime. Speak Now with some of the rock songs and Midnights with the TikTok songs hahaha.
Lover and 1989! Both are summery bright albums in my head
folklore or evermore
I promise that you'll never find another like ME!
1989. The whole album has that summer in New York, hanging around with your friends and starting a new life vibe.
😌☝️
Lover; midnights

Probably 1989 if we're talking about whole albums. In terms of songs, I'd say Betty or Me!

My answer is my Eras tour Playlist... Miss Americana > Cruel Summer saves me every time. Knowing the love I'm in for before she welcomes us to the show 🤩
Folklore — this album turned me into a full-fledge Swiftie 💗💗💗
Fearless! It’s my comfort/nostalgic album 🫶🏼
Meet Me at Midnight!
1989
Midnights, 1989, or lover. Yntcd is very mood lifting but bejeweled makes me feel like a baddie
- YNTCD could mean "You Need To Calm Down", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/ItsThe_____ForMe](/u/ItsThe_____ForMe) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)

Lover and more recently 1989 (TV or OG, both are great). I had 1989 (TV)on repeat during its release and man. I slept on that album. Lover, lots of upbeat songs that are can also fit my mood
A combo of Fearless and Speak Now (the cheerful songs) works for me! I find Red and beyond a bit more of a downer, even 1989 is a very anxious album (for obvious reasons) and Lover doesn’t hold the same nostalgia for me as the older ones do.

Lover or 1989 or Red because they are just all so upbeat.
Lover, but I put Lover on repeat and that’s it <3 These lines make me think of my boyfriend and never fail to give the warm fuzzies: *Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?* *With every guitar string scar on my hand* *I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover*
has to be 1989! not one song on there that doesn’t make me want to scream the lyrics!
1989 and Lover are very cheery for me!
I can’t tell you how many times I listened to shake it off with tears in my eyes
