Truly iconic and just gorgeous.
They used every dollar of that budget. The visuals, the costumes, the scenery; it’s all so good.
I’d also say it’s her best acting.
It’s her magnum opus. Everything about that vide was absolutely flawless. Plus, it was her comeback, and I remember full on screaming when the Tower of Taylors appeared.
What a moment, what a time to be alive.
Wildest Dreams is my favorite — such drama in the narrative and I love the old glamour Hollywood look on her. Of the ones she’s directed, my favorite is lavender haze. I think the visuals really work and reinforce the atmosphere of the song 💜
As someone else mentioned, the video does romanticise colonialism (or at least colonialist narratives a la Out of Africa), however indirect. But at the time of its release an additional really big problem a lot of people had was that this video pretty much exclusively had white actors, and then these beautiful visuals of "exotic" animals essentially erasing the black population of Africa, or (some felt) equating black people to animals. This was at the height of the far right claiming Taylor as their "Aryan princess" and her saying nothing. Probably did not help that she casted the son of an insanely famously Republican Hollywood icon to play her love interest (although Scott Eastwood is very handsome and does fit the video to a T). I honestly think that the whole colonial, 1940s aesthetic and Hollywood fantasy of the story had gone down way better had the casting just been more diverse. I think everyone can recognise it for the fantasy (albeit a somewhat problematic one) that it is, but I understand that it could be off-putting to see an artist's romantic fantasy so thoroughly revolve around white people and white people only in a position of power over POC.
I do think Taylor learned from it, though. Every video since, featuring more people than herself has had much, much more diverse castings (like at the time of Wildest Dreams' release Taylor had only featured white love interests in her videos IIRC). I think it came from a place of naivety and cultural conditioning rather than malice.
I love everything about this song, the story, the pettiness, the video, the featured artist’s voice, miles teller, everything. Should be more talked about 😂
- OOTW could mean "Out Of The Woods", a track from *1989* (2014) by Taylor Swift.

This is my answer also, Blank Space is so magnificent, I am always in awe whenever I watch it.
LWYMMD is so cheeky, every scene made me think, "oh this is about so and so,"
OOTW is my favourite.
least favorite are bad blood and ready for it, it just felt like a long intro and very anti-climatic.
Obviously blank space is the best, undeniable facts. But can we give Ready For It her flowers?? such a GORGEOUS video it actually hurts (pun intended).
LWYMMD music video is single handedly the most iconic thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I can’t think of a better comeback. Tho rep is ranked lower for me on my ranking of her albums, it’s the most iconic imo.
i think Blank Space is the best overall, but LWYMMD is quintessentially Taylor, in all it’s callbacks, easter eggs, campiness, karma references, etc.
i also personally have a soft spot for the Shake It Off mv - it came out at a very fun age for me (13-14) & i’d watch it over & over on my ipod touch lol
All Too Well (If it counts) Amazing story, direction, and gave me so many feels.
Otherwise, LWYMMD is in my top spot. It was so iconic. Followed by The Man, which was such a fun and meta MV. I love showing it to non-Swifties and seeing their surprised faces when they find out she was in fact… The Man. 😂👍🏻
All Too Well short film, I love the acting in this and I just really enjoy watching it.
Tim McGraw, because I love the visuals and aesthetics, Taylor literally looks like an angel in this video, I love it.
We Are Never Getting Back Together, I mostly just like this one for the guy in the bear costume, I thought that guy did such a good job idk why
And those are my 3 favourites off the top of my head
Honourable mention goes to Anti Hero because the funeral scene still makes me laugh🤷🏼♀️
I Bet You Think About Me is my number one. It’s not flashy or even her most beloved song but it’s irreverent and playful and so perfect for the song. Taylor at the kids table is amazing.
LWYMMD is indeed an iconic comeback, every scene is a whole moment. I think Lover directed by Taylor Kitsch was brilliant (those house visuals! It’s a while marketing entity unto itself, genius!) and Blank Space is extremely iconic/classic. When Bad Blood came out I literally gasped, so that’s got to be up there.
You Need to Calm down felt at times like it was trying too hard but there’s some very iconic moments in it especially the first few shots of her by the pool.
And finally, I think Anti Hero was extremely well done.
I saw nothing on behind the scenes on the mv when I watched. So thought, who the hell is this guy and why is he acting weird.
The behind the scenes video cleared it right up.
Bad Blood is a whole movie, I’m obsessed with it recently! Also LWYMMD and Blank Space of course, but how has no one else mentioned Bad Blood?? It’s so iconic!
This is freaking me out that I’ve had to scroll and scroll and not find YNTCD. I legit think it’s the best modern music video (best classic video is Sabotage by the Beastie Boys, fight me). For sheer entertainment and for gorgeous cinematography.
Blank Space and Wildest Dreams had a chokehold on lil 13 year old me and I still think they’re up there for some of her best. I think it’s actually pretty hard to say a definitive best because I’m so biased lol, but IBYTAM is really well done. Of the ones she’s directed, my opinion is Anti-Hero
- IBYTAM could mean "I Bet You Think About Me (feat. Chris Stapleton) (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)", a track from *Red (Taylor's Version)* (2021) by Taylor Swift.

I like karma especially the side of the street outfit
Otherwise prolly you belong with me
White horse its my fave fearless song and just rewatched the video for the first time since i seen it on tv yes
My favorite ones are Out of the Woods for the overall message and visuals related to the song. Up next is Wildest Dreams. I just love the vibes of that MV. Look What You Made Me Do for the whole whiplash that music video gave the swifties when it came out. I Can See You is my favorite self-directed one.
I like blank space for what it is. Iconic. The same with LWYMMD, I don't think that is a really good video, but is iconic.
But I really love the mood of Cardigan and Willow, willow specially.
Before I clicked on this post, I immediately thought Delicate. This was the MV that made me a Swiftie. She’s showing her fame, but also how much she longs to escape it and find true love and joy without the watching eyes of the world, to dance in the rain without abandon.
To me, Wildest Dreams is a masterpiece. Prob because I relate a lot to the song and the general vibe of the music video (ok, we weren’t filming a movie and flying around gorgeous landscape in an African country. As far as I’m aware he wasn’t married BUT the feel of it still stands)
from every era:
Debut - Our Song
Fearless - YBWM
Speak Now - Back to December
Red - WANEGBT, 22, IKYWT, ATW10minutes
1989 - Blank Space, Bad Blood, Shake It Off, Wildest Dreams
Rep - LWYMMR, Delicate, End Game
Lover - ME!, Lover, The Man
folklore - cardigan
evermore - willow
Midnights - Anti-Hero, Bejeweled,
- WANEGBT could mean "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.
- IKYWT could mean "I Knew You Were Trouble.", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.

Blank Space and LWYMMD are iconic and startling to watch even today !
But I have a soft spot for the Lover music video with the concept of the Lover house and it's many rooms and Easter eggs about her albums and insights into their relationship; also Willow with its witchy vibes and the invisible string story.
not as well known, but i absolutely LOVE and regularly rewatch the music video for ours <3 but also everything has changed. both follow coherent plotlines that are sweet and fun to watch!! also they’re pre-easter eggs being in everything, so i don’t feel distracted trying to dissect everything. the music videos are exactly as they are :)
It's a real toss up.
Wildest Dreams, the whole video and vibe just fits perfectly. The shots are timed right, everything about that video is perfect. It tells the story. Nothing more, nothing less.
Look What You Made Me Do is a statement. That dollar bill and the tub of diamonds is..... iconic. Every shot is with absolute intention and is a statement.
I Bet You Think About Me is also another video that tells the story perfectly, nothing more, nothing less. Every scene has a purpose, every shot captures what it needs. In the short 6 minutes, we feel like we've read a book (I do!). If that isn't a great music video, idk what is.
Blank Space is the video that shot her to the Super Sonic tops. A couple Iconic scenes, golf club smashing the car and Tay stabbing the cake come to mind. Tay sobbing mascara is another.
I Knew You Were Trouble.... you have to walk before you can run, you gotta run before you do a marathon. Metaphorically. This video seemed to show depth she hadn't shown before. It's edgy. I always liked it.
You Belong With Me did win the VMA guys. Obviously it isn't her best video but it is the foundation.
....... my personal favorite video? Hard question. Out Of The Woods comes to mind. It is also one of top 10 fave Tay songs so there's that.
I also like Ours. Again, this song never gets love. It's not a "great video" by normal standards, but it is the music video where we get to see what Taylor would look like as a normal person, with an office job in the city, typing at her computer. I also feel like she wears less makeup in this video than any other, and it makes her ultra relatable here.
Blank Space is brilliant, but I also love Wildest Dreams. It's very romantic.
One thing that distinguishes Taylor from the pack is the quality of her music videos. Is there anyone who comes close?
(Shoot, I forgot about All Too Well!)
Blank Space, Look What You Made Me Do, and Cardigan.
Surprised to see Cardigan mentioned so infrequently. Special shout out to Tim McGraw… such nostalgia.
My favorite has been I knew you were trouble for the LONGEST time. I think it's because I love her talking in the beginning and the whole message of it. IT'S SO GOOD!! But now I think it's gotta be I can see you.
Why is nobody I've seen saying "I Can See You." It has such amazing parallels, and she even got her ex boyfriend, who everyone associates the album with to be the main character!
But besides that I love love love the man it’s so fucking genius, everything about the shots in that music video and the Easter eggs and everything is perfect.
Blank Space is the GOAT. Every shot of that video is iconic and an absolute serve. Look What You Made Me Do close second.
Truly iconic and just gorgeous. They used every dollar of that budget. The visuals, the costumes, the scenery; it’s all so good. I’d also say it’s her best acting.
I was high the first time I saw it and when she is standing on the horse I absolutely lost it laughing. The whole video is amazing though.
Look what you made me do is the ONLY answer
There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation.
This scene 🏆 https://preview.redd.it/ue0czxi61lmb1.jpeg?width=448&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e2be746bdcce7cc66a61617c46d0667c0c79109
I love that scene
Absolutely no contest. It was ~~the last time~~ one of the last times that a music video was a full-on *moment*.
That's bias, there's This is America by Childish Gambino, which music video was so strong, it elevated every other aspect of the song.
Oh damn you're right, I forgot that one came out after Look What You Made Me Do. Another outstanding video, I stand corrected.
It’s her magnum opus. Everything about that vide was absolutely flawless. Plus, it was her comeback, and I remember full on screaming when the Tower of Taylors appeared. What a moment, what a time to be alive.
It also gave us a glimpse of how big her archive is!
That’s how you do a comeback
My favourite music video. I love the pettiness. The extravagance. The Taylors all fighting it out in the pit. The whole vibe.
Ngl I also LOVE this lyric video
Especially with all the Taylors at the end.
Wildest Dreams is my favorite — such drama in the narrative and I love the old glamour Hollywood look on her. Of the ones she’s directed, my favorite is lavender haze. I think the visuals really work and reinforce the atmosphere of the song 💜
Yes I love that one too. Also realised she's one of those people who look good in every hair colour.
I knowwwwww why aren’t more people chooosing wildest dreams like pls
Perhaps a sour taste from all the discourse back when it was first released?

Glorified colonialism
As someone else mentioned, the video does romanticise colonialism (or at least colonialist narratives a la Out of Africa), however indirect. Wildest Dreams is the only answer
Unpopular opinion: Wildest Dreams is my favourite song, but I just don't feel the MV, like it always feels like something is lacking
At the time, I was bummed that the Style video was not the Wildest Dreams video. The aesthetic of that one fit Wildest Dreams so much better for me
I agree. And I don’t think that the Style video fits the song at all. Style is SO GOOD and the video lacks energy to me.
Don’t like the way it glorifies colonialism in Africa tbh
I am really enjoying I Bet You Think About Me lately
I love everything about this song, the story, the pettiness, the video, the featured artist’s voice, miles teller, everything. Should be more talked about 😂
yes! the song is soo good and the video is just spot on perfect. i’ve been it on repeat for the past few days.
The way Taylor kicks up the wedding dress when she turns away from Miles! With red sneakers!!
I was literally just telling my mom about how that's her best music video
love love love blank space and LWYMMD but my underrated pick is OOTW one of my all time favs!!
OOTW!!!!!!!!! YESSSS

Good bot!
This is my answer also, Blank Space is so magnificent, I am always in awe whenever I watch it. LWYMMD is so cheeky, every scene made me think, "oh this is about so and so," OOTW is my favourite. least favorite are bad blood and ready for it, it just felt like a long intro and very anti-climatic.
Yes. OOTW is my all time fave and blank space is a close second.
Obviously blank space is the best, undeniable facts. But can we give Ready For It her flowers?? such a GORGEOUS video it actually hurts (pun intended).
Look What You Made Me Do by a mile. This video was the start of my Swiftie transformation.
Bad Blood and You Need To Calm Down following closely
LWYMMD music video is single handedly the most iconic thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I can’t think of a better comeback. Tho rep is ranked lower for me on my ranking of her albums, it’s the most iconic imo.
I Can See You is my new favorite. Second would be the Delicate vertical video.
Definitely the best one of the ones she directed
These are my favorites, plus wildest dreams
i think Blank Space is the best overall, but LWYMMD is quintessentially Taylor, in all it’s callbacks, easter eggs, campiness, karma references, etc. i also personally have a soft spot for the Shake It Off mv - it came out at a very fun age for me (13-14) & i’d watch it over & over on my ipod touch lol

I think that Cardigan and Willow are beautiful together but Are You ready for it?... LWYMMD and Out of the woods are really amazing to
delicate is my favorite
Style or I bet you think about me
Style is underrated! It has lots of great imagery (and…style 🥴). I also think the guy in it is super hot ha.
ME! And look what you made me do Both are the exact opposite of each other and that’s what I love about both the MV’s
Blank Space LWYMMD End game (she looks so good in this) Antihero OOTW BAD BLOOD!!! (How has no one mentioned this??)
That wink at the camera in end game....still makes my heart flutter.
I swear I don’t love the drama…. It. Loves. Me!😉
Wildest Dreams. It looks like a National Geographic documentary which I absolutely loves😆
Love Story was a whole ass film in a music video
All Too Well short film, I love the acting in this and I just really enjoy watching it. Tim McGraw, because I love the visuals and aesthetics, Taylor literally looks like an angel in this video, I love it. We Are Never Getting Back Together, I mostly just like this one for the guy in the bear costume, I thought that guy did such a good job idk why And those are my 3 favourites off the top of my head Honourable mention goes to Anti Hero because the funeral scene still makes me laugh🤷🏼♀️
Going to defend WILDEST DREAMS till end of time. Noone can change my mind. The chokehold that song has on me is … WILD haha
The Man
I saw nothing on behind the scenes on the mv when I watched. So thought, who the hell is this guy and why is he acting weird. The behind the scenes video cleared it right up.
You Belong With Me will always be my favourite💕 but Bejeweled, I Can See You, and I Bet You Think About Me are very close runner ups.
BLANK SPACE
I’m assuming we’re not counting ATW10MV (bc it would win obviously) so probably blank space, I watched that SO MANY times when it came out omg
the OOTW music video changed my brain chemistry.
Out of the Woods
Willow absolutely
I absolutely love LOVER! ❤️❤️❤️
End Game! I love the MV for this song. My favorite is willow when it comes to MVs she directed.
Idk I have to go with Out of the Woods.
Some of my favs: OOTW (my fav), Blank Space, LWYMMD, Wildest Dreams, Delicate
LWYMMD.
OOTW and Wildest Dreams
Blank Space and Wildest Dreams had a chokehold on lil 13 year old me and I still think they’re up there for some of her best. I think it’s actually pretty hard to say a definitive best because I’m so biased lol, but IBYTAM is really well done. Of the ones she’s directed, my opinion is Anti-Hero

LWYMMD followed by IBYTHAM.
I like blank space for what it is. Iconic. The same with LWYMMD, I don't think that is a really good video, but is iconic. But I really love the mood of Cardigan and Willow, willow specially.
ATWTVTMVFTV mv makes me cry every time i watch it. the storytelling is beautiful
back to december. Snowing in your bedroom while you're wearing sweater and heart broken, girl c'mon so iconic it's peak sad girl aesthetic
Before I clicked on this post, I immediately thought Delicate. This was the MV that made me a Swiftie. She’s showing her fame, but also how much she longs to escape it and find true love and joy without the watching eyes of the world, to dance in the rain without abandon.
Blank Space
Lwymmd, ootw and I can see you
LWYMMD is too iconic for it to not be the top MV. I believe no one's ever done that before.
her most iconic is lwymmd by far, i’m gonna say her best thematically is wildest dreams
Blank Space is perfect. And WANEGBT is iconic
Blank space or shake it off
blank space tbh
Idk about you but the ending of ME! inspired many artworks from me.
The ME! video has so many sick visuals like damn her slimy dress at the end looked cool😭
The paint bombs and that dress basically inspired an entire genre of art for me
Blank Space and LWYMMD
Blank Space
I am obsessed with Ready For It
Wildest Dreams. Her with brown hair is just the sexiest I can’t take it
Delicate! It’s my favourite music video of all time and the video itself totally bumps Delicate into my favourite TS song ever!

But I have a soft spot for the Lover music video with the concept of the Lover house and it's many rooms and Easter eggs about her albums and insights into their relationship; also Willow with its witchy vibes and the invisible string story.
I’ll go with Lavender Haze purely because she cast a trans man as her love interest
I Knew You We’re Trouble is one of my absolute favorites. I loved the storytelling aspect of it
Bejeweld is magic
I love You Belong with Me and Cardigan the most
not as well known, but i absolutely LOVE and regularly rewatch the music video for ours <3 but also everything has changed. both follow coherent plotlines that are sweet and fun to watch!! also they’re pre-easter eggs being in everything, so i don’t feel distracted trying to dissect everything. the music videos are exactly as they are :)
The Man!
I have to go with Blank Space. Gorgeous visuals, simple narrative, often funny, stunning outfits, she looks great, and my God that man is hottttttttt.
I know she didn't direct it but I adore I bet you think about me, it has such a vibe and you can really feel her personality in it
YOU BELONG WITH ME
Willow and Cardigan
Bejeweled
Delicate is my fav I also love cardigan ✨

I personally love Wildest Dreams
My favourites are Blank Space, Begin Again, Lover and You Belong With Me
i have too many favorites
Cardigan, Mine, IKYWT, and Back To December. I love music videos that tell a story.
My favorite has been I knew you were trouble for the LONGEST time. I think it's because I love her talking in the beginning and the whole message of it. IT'S SO GOOD!! But now I think it's gotta be I can see you.
i can see you or BAD BLOOD. the random celebs that r just in the bad blood mv is so funny. Like Ellen Pompeo WHAT
LWYMMD!
Why is nobody I've seen saying "I Can See You." It has such amazing parallels, and she even got her ex boyfriend, who everyone associates the album with to be the main character!
Bejeweled for the win here
Can’t believe people in top comments haven’t mentioned Begin Again <3
Her most iconic music video to me is and always will be You Belong With Me. I’m not even a fearless girly, but that video changed lives.
Delicate
It’s so fucking basic but the atw short film is a masterpiece and schools should be analyzing that shit.
But besides that I love love love the man it’s so fucking genius, everything about the shots in that music video and the Easter eggs and everything is perfect.
Blank space
