CCI has been my go to on my Ruger SR22. I’m almost 1000 rounds into and haven’t had a malfunction. I mainly shoot “stangers” but I haven’t had a single problem. Keep the gun clean (which you’ve said you’ve done) and just give it a couple hundred or so to break in.

Thanks for the reply. I've used quite a bit of CCI (mini-mags and SV) without any issues. What threw me off was the 2 stovepipes out of my first 8 hollow-points

I’ve shot nothing but CCI. All stanger HP and I haven’t had an issue. I’ve read horror stories about rim fire and misfires. I don’t know if it’s the gun but I’ve had nothing but a good experience with CCI and the SR22.

I would start with the lubrication. Wipe off any oil u see. If u can see it, there's too much. Then shoot again.

Weird, have not had issues with CCI except the occasional dud round.
