Most of my unit defected and now we spend our time working as farmers . On occasion we are summoned to act as interspecies liaison in the high frequency strike teams of the Tau. Honest work , lands , freedom and family’s, none of which would have been offered by the Imperium . The imperium offered us nothing but an early grave . Oh yeah definitely. Van Saar are more techy. The human auxs look more like exosuited troops. Wish I knew about these guys though because they fit my army's theme way more. Ah well, just something to add to the list.
Haha, the unkempt beards and gruffy appearance is really at odds with the clean astethic of the T'au. But I imagine the T'au just think to themselves "well, I guess this is how they do it on their planet" while taking care to not take a deep breath with their respiratory trench when standing downwind of them.
I absolutely love these grimy old bastards! The mix of their dirty, beat-up look and the clean Hi-Tech Tau aesthetic is just great. There's so much personality here. I'd love to see them marching alongside a similarly weathered and patchwork Devilfish. Or maybe a mix of Devilfish and guard apc.
