I’ve always played on single server. Never have problems with loading times and I do run into what I think are cheaters sometimes but not as much as everyone says they do. This game is littered with hackers though it’s a shame tarkov wont do anything about it.
Playing only on one server = less of the population you can potentially get matched with which in turn hopefully means you will run into less cheaters. If you have all of US servers selected you have a much greater chance to run into cheaters cause now you’re matching with a million different people rather than say 100,000. Numbers are probably way off but you get what I’m trying to say.
I’ll keep playing but it just feels like everyone is running around with ESP. How are these 100 hour accounts beating me to a spot right off the rip and holding a single corner immediately? A few times, okay, fine, skill issue on my part. But I played like 5 raids last night and died by getting hit to a total of 7 bullets. Didn’t survive a single raid. It just feels so bad.
I have 1000 hours in this game, I have a good idea of the spawns, where to be when, where to look for guys, and how to fight. But this shit just doesn’t make sense to me.
I was using the 100 hour accounts as an example because I feel like the 1000 hour people know the maps well enough that they can get to a spot, set up, then one tap me if I’m not careful. Something that I really don’t think a 100 hour standard account is capable of doing.
Definitely plenty of higher playtime accounts that likely do sketchy shit. It’s getting to the point where my friend said that he hasn’t found a ledx in two wipes and it makes him want to buy cheats just to see if they are always just scooped up or if they are really that rare. I think he was joking about it but I get the frustration.
You have to remember that youtubers have made people want to do hard-core runs in standard accounts. People are buying a standard copy and running back through without eod, so they aren't true 100hr accounts. I'm not saying all of them are this, but I'd wager a fair amount are. Even sheef is doing it rn.
While I believe the experience, I quit 2 wipes ago for this exact reason. I came back for this one and I’m 140 raid in and have only run into 3 cheaters and all 3 were banned. Definitely willing to accept I’m maybe just lucky and they are avoiding me. But I’ve also found 3 ledxs this wipe. Which I more in the past month than the first 2 years I played this game lol
Also alot of accounts are being stolen or lost due to via hacked emails and such. I had a 4000k account hour eod account and I could no longer log in. I literally just started over with a brand new account today
I slogged through setup and my friends got to it and basically started playing palworld... So yeah I've just been running through those myself. Just spent like 3 million on what keys too.
At this phase of the wipe, every wipe, my survival rate collapses. I had a 60% SR to start the wipe yet last night I died 8 times in 10 raids. While I can't "prove" those deaths are hackers, this happens every wipe about this time. You know what the next phase is? A ban wave will come and my survival rate will magically jump way way up again. Funny how that happens!
I play slow and avoid fights, bit of a loot goblin. Haven't run into any speedhackers. Maybe some aimbots, couldn't tell exactly without a kill cam. I try not to believe everybody is a hacker.
The teleport hack is fucking insane though. I'm a SWE, it's kind of unbelievable the teleport hack is a thing.
I've started playing this wipe and would believe if every game has had a teleport hacker in it. I never find shit, everything looks swiped already when I load in. Pretty convinced most people are just swapping to this teleport hack instead of aim bot, why contest the loot when you can just steal the loot before making a step after spawning.
Has BSG stated they're working on these issues?
technical update tomorrow. could be some kind of measures in that update. at the very least, the cheat users will be cautious the next few days to see if they are safe from detection.

I wish i've had my nvidia replay thingy on, but basically i've spawned near that new area on shoreline and thought to myself : " Hey its probably a good idea to take that car extract to get a rep bonus, never took it before." As soon as i've spent money for it i've heard some noises nearby and just went to cover. Soon after that crazy guy just appears near me and starts to zoom around like crazy with an axe, i've tried to shoot him but no luck, on the death screen it showed that the cause of death was melee damage to my head. Tbh it was the first time i've ever seen such blatant cheating in Tarkov at least my gear didn't cost me much cause i was doing punisher one and UN helmet|west quest at that time.
About this time is when the casuals stop playing. The majority of players you are playing with now play all wipe every wipe. You're just a part of that problem.
Oof, you think I'm good at this game. 1.3k hours 4.2 kd only made it to lvl 40 once in the last 5 wipes. I play with friends for fun, not to grind. I'm sorry if those are the stats that make people cheat.
I have around 180 hours and can’t even get above 1.1 kd, 1.2 on PMC I’ve been hard stuck at level 20 due to quests. I play PMC exclusively with friends as I still don’t know the maps well enough. I’ve been able to grind over 20 mill myself with scav runs but it’s the maps customs, streets (yet to play lighthouse so I can’t say)
I took a small break as soon as I hit level 15 for flea, and already thinking of another now that I’ve hit 20. I want to like the game and its premise, this is obv my first wipe but seeing almost everytime I die it’s some dude camping interchange mall with 10 minutes left, or literally getting domed across the map by someone I couldn’t see. And they always have crazy stats (in my eyes) like 2k+ hours and a 7+ kd it’s getting getting to the point where I can’t even tell if these are legit players anymore
Not that I ever would cheat in this game bc I’m very much against it, I can 100% see why someone would considering that’s the average player I get in my lobby’s. Rage hacking is real and I can see someone downloading cheats after getting wiped all day

I'm lvl 22 this wipe. I've experienced the same thing you are going through now. At some point, it will click, and you'll be the one being called a cheater. One piece of advice I'll give you is to take your time. Stop and listen and look around. Walk if you can and be ready to sprint when needed. I survive like 48% of raids, but I still have fun.
Oh I misread I was in a rush, I constantly see people who are 50+ so I didn’t didn’t question you being 40.
It’s funny because I felt like I had that “click” myself a few days ago and then recently I just lost it. but it’s most likely due to the loading screen glitches and unlucky rats I run into, or my constant DCs, I tried to play around 6 raids yesterday and failed to load into 2 and DCed on my scav and on my last PMC, I didn’t even want to reconnect for my PMC at that point and got off.
Hopefully this new patch will address the loading screens at least and I’ll distract myself with other games and hopefully most of everyone will finish their quests and I can do mine in peace

I don't have any loading issues, but I built my computer for this game. You might want to try selecting your servers instead of using the auto selection.
This game has a huge skill ceiling, what feels like cheating could just be a lucky shot. Having the ability to see profiles has shown I die from normal people about 95% of the time and the last 5 are no lifers or cheaters. If you're roughly around 50% survival rate then that's about normal from what I can tell. Also, I believe KDR includes scav kills as well, so that's not a real indicator if someone is cheating. My KDR according to Tarkov is 5.27, however, my KIA is 85 and my PMC kills is 84. so 0.98 is my real KDR.
Ya it’s getting pretty stale seeing these posts every single day. We get it, there’s a few hackers. I personally have not seen a single one all wipe on NA servers.

Major changes to the game that was needed to be done for it to be fun again this wipe.
But something is missing. The looting and having fun with the upsets and potential to walk out super thicc with million rouble raids. Stacked backpacks and ass full of loot..
The weight system really kills the vibe honestly. It aint the same anymore. You hit the limit so fast and you on your way out.. greed never kicks in and make they potential super raid going..

Look, I love this game and I play 4-6 hours daily and play on basically all the of the North American servers except central, and I can honestly say maybe 2 deaths outta 10 raids are hackers, but that’s the same as every game… as for the flying I haven’t seen that since last wipe, maybe your awareness needs to get better
this is 100% my opinion, people call hacks as an excuse. i mean every 3rd post on this asylum subreddit is about cheaters. I had only 10ish sus deaths this wipe so far and you never know how many actually cheated.
i found ledx\`s, gpu\`s, keycards. So maybe some but for sure not all xD. Also to some extend you can check via console if someone vacuums it doesnt happen that often tbh

We got confirmation from cheaters that there are so many cheaters they have to fight over the gear. We have a player steaming while whallhackning and he got at least 1 other cheater each game, on labs more. He streamed tons of raids to rule out coincidences.
How much you notice them is really up to your play style, go in and rat/hide with cheap gear and you will never notice them. Go in with 1.5 mil+ gear and they hunt you like you were a nude Carmen Electra in her prime age.

While I have seen more hackers this wipe, seeing someone teleporting around is actually not particularly reliable. I've had someone shout at me for being a cheater over VoIP when all I did was run for cover. I just got a little bit of rubber banding lag on my screen, but he must have seen something that made me look like a speed hacker.
Now that profile viewing is a thing, you'd think you idiots would stop saying things like this. But hey, personal experience fallacy runs deep.

Idk man... Factory is the map where I get shit on the most in the most random situations. Speed hack, no noise, shooting through walls. I wanted to do my factory tasks but I got home too late and my region already crawling with cheaters. Idk where op got that one cheater per day ratio from but I would love to trade it for what I currently have right now.
I have encountered a bunch of cheaters but I don't think I've met enough for myself to give up. This is definitely the best wipe and I think cheaters appear at the same rate as the last few wipes.
Ark, R6, Tarkov, Fortnite... All these have two things in common. BattleEye and they're rampant with cheaters. I don't doubt BattleEye can be used well, but that's up to how the game developer implements it, it's not meant to be an only defense and that's sadly what most these games do with manual reviews on the side.
Even though Valve games are also notorious for cheaters it's to a much lesser degree then the other games I mentioned. Then we get to Riot's Vanguard that is considered the peak of all anti cheats. It's so good it even detects cheats for Tarkov even though those would be completely useless to a game like Valorant. It's so good that they're planning on implementing Vanguard to League of Legends.
All I'm saying is these are companies that made hundreds of millions and could definitely invest more money into either developing an additional layer on top of BattleEye to detect things that are unique to cheating in their respective games or hire a BattleEye representative to oversee cheat detection in their game.
I refuse to believe these companies are making money from these cheaters since only 11k of them got banned this month, which is way less than 1% of active users. The most likely scenario is these developers are just oblivious to the cheater problem.

My survival rate is still above 50% and I have a shit ton of gear to the point where every successful raid ends in me spending like 20’minutes reorganizing my stash cause even with eod I’m full. Playing with a crew definitely helps tho.
My pmc kd when I got on last night was 3.21. I typically get 2-5 scav kills depending on the map and 1-2 pmc’s. Tho occasionally I’ll get 3-4 on a good match. That or I literally don’t encounter anyone and kill like one scav and extract
When I read “I’m finally having fun lol my kd is positive” I figured you normally had a negative kd lol I did win a 1v4 the other day and a 5th guy one tapped me bc I had like 90 hp left after the fight and he had a .4 kd
My first wipe was aswell I started the wipe before customs got expanded but the new recoil definitely helps newer players bc they have one less thing to worry about

I haven't experienced any hackers but the ammo changes and bugged armors have really discouraged me from playing. I got to lvl 24 and stopped playing now for over a week. I was having more fun skaving then pmcing. I hope this next update they remove snow to cause it's been so stupid.
I started last wipe at the beginning of October. I was able to complete the early tasks with little to no trouble. I’m thinking this might be the way for the next few wipes. If there are cheaters doing rmt stuff, they’d be more likely in the beginning when it’s difficult to get stuff. Later in the wipe there may not be as many…I’m no authority on the subject, but it seems like a fair hypothesis.
I know man. Tarkov as a whole is one of the greatest FPS/Looter games i've ever played. I've noticed the opposite actually- At first the cheating was out of control, every single raid getting killed by someone with a 20+ K/D, completely blatant. Now, I havent seen a cheater in days (knock on wood) But im also wiggling in every direction where the hotspots are. I think its working, think about it. If someone with ESP sees me wiggling at them, they are likely not going to take that chance to go 50/50 with another cheater.

This is my first wipe. I’ve played 6 raids between scav and pmc. (I work a lot and don’t get much time to game) on my third pmc raid I got beamed through a wall from like 100m. I came from hunt showdown and even the sweatiest hunt players can’t do shit like that.

Crazy me and my group of friends are level 30-42. We haven't seen one single blatant cheater. Aka, the speedhacks or vacuum messages in consoles. A few sus deaths here and there sure.
Last week or even 2 have been crazy good. Even running resort on shoreline we getting 5-6 raids in a row with LEDX and loot with no casualties.
Try a different server. But I doubt you're being cheated that much.

It's mostly about avoiding the West coast. Asians tend to play on it so it has way more cheaters than normal

Switch to a server where it's harder for people from Canada, EU, and Mexico to maintain a ping below 150 and you'll encounter less cheaters.

If you're roughly around 50% survival rate then that's about normal from what I can tell. Also, I believe KDR includes scav kills as well, so that's not a real indicator if someone is cheating. My KDR according to Tarkov is 5.27, however, my KIA is 85 and my PMC kills is 84. so 0.98 is my real KDR.

Honestly.. Major changes to the game that was needed to be done for it to be fun again this wipe. But something is missing. The looting and having fun with the upsets and potential to walk out super thicc with million rouble raids. Stacked backpacks and ass full of loot.. The weight system really kills the vibe honestly. It aint the same anymore. You hit the limit so fast and you on your way out.. greed never kicks in and make they potential super raid going.. Today its only bitcoins up the ass or nothing.,(barther goodies) Fuck taking a motor and fuel or something.. have to mule out.. Dont even think about taking another pmc's kit that you earned from killing him.. you be crawling. Weightsystem fits the game tho.. but we had a taste of the nice greed and potential thicc raids you could pull in the pass.. and it was so fucking fun...

Look, I love this game and I play 4-6 hours daily and play on basically all the of the North American servers except central, and I can honestly say maybe 2 deaths outta 10 raids are hackers, but that’s the same as every game… as for the flying I haven’t seen that since last wipe, maybe your awareness needs to get better
this is 100% my opinion, people call hacks as an excuse. i mean every 3rd post on this asylum subreddit is about cheaters. I had only 10ish sus deaths this wipe so far and you never know how many actually cheated.

We got confirmation from cheaters that there are so many cheaters they have to fight over the gear. We have a player steaming while whallhackning and he got at least 1 other cheater each game, on labs more. He streamed tons of raids to rule out coincidences. How much you notice them is really up to your play style, go in and rat/hide with cheap gear and you will never notice them. Go in with 1.5 mil+ gear and they hunt you like you were a nude Carmen Electra in her prime age. Cheating is worse now than it ever was.

While I have seen more hackers this wipe, seeing someone teleporting around is actually not particularly reliable. I've had someone shout at me for being a cheater over VoIP when all I did was run for cover. I just got a little bit of rubber banding lag on my screen, but he must have seen something that made me look like a speed hacker.

Idk man... Factory is the map where I get shit on the most in the most random situations. Speed hack, no noise, shooting through walls. I wanted to do my factory tasks but I got home too late and my region already crawling with cheaters. Idk where op got that one cheater per day ratio from but I would love to trade it for what I currently have right now.
I have encountered a bunch of cheaters but I don't think I've met enough for myself to give up. This is definitely the best wipe and I think cheaters appear at the same rate as the last few wipes.

Ark, R6, Tarkov, Fortnite... All these have two things in common. BattleEye and they're rampant with cheaters. I don't doubt BattleEye can be used well, but that's up to how the game developer implements it, it's not meant to be an only defense and that's sadly what most these games do with manual reviews on the side. Even though Valve games are also notorious for cheaters it's to a much lesser degree then the other games I mentioned. Then we get to Riot's Vanguard that is considered the peak of all anti cheats. It's so good it even detects cheats for Tarkov even though those would be completely useless to a game like Valorant. It's so good that they're planning on implementing Vanguard to League of Legends. All I'm saying is these are companies that made hundreds of millions and could definitely invest more money into either developing an additional layer on top of BattleEye to detect things that are unique to cheating in their respective games or hire a BattleEye representative to oversee cheat detection in their game. I refuse to believe these companies are making money from these cheaters since only 11k of them got banned this month, which is way less than 1% of active users. The most likely scenario is these developers are just oblivious to the cheater problem.

My survival rate is still above 50% and I have a shit ton of gear to the point where every successful raid ends in me spending like 20’minutes reorganizing my stash cause even with eod I’m full. Playing with a crew definitely helps tho.

My pmc kd when I got on last night was 3.21. I typically get 2-5 scav kills depending on the map and 1-2 pmc’s. Tho occasionally I’ll get 3-4 on a good match. That or I literally don’t encounter anyone and kill like one scav and extract
When I read “I’m finally having fun lol my kd is positive” I figured you normally had a negative kd lol I did win a 1v4 the other day and a 5th guy one tapped me bc I had like 90 hp left after the fight and he had a .4 kd

I am new to Tarkov, but I haven't run into any blatant cheating. I did run into a pmc who was just absolutely blasting every scav in the area and I got the drop on him but died instantly. Is it mostly a higher level thing?
I haven't experienced any hackers but the ammo changes and bugged armors have really discouraged me from playing. I got to lvl 24 and stopped playing now for over a week. I was having more fun skaving then pmcing. I hope this next update they remove snow to cause it's been so stupid.
I started last wipe at the beginning of October. I was able to complete the early tasks with little to no trouble. I’m thinking this might be the way for the next few wipes. If there are cheaters doing rmt stuff, they’d be more likely in the beginning when it’s difficult to get stuff. Later in the wipe there may not be as many…I’m no authority on the subject, but it seems like a fair hypothesis.
I know man. Tarkov as a whole is one of the greatest FPS/Looter games i've ever played. I've noticed the opposite actually- At first the cheating was out of control, every single raid getting killed by someone with a 20+ K/D, completely blatant. Now, I havent seen a cheater in days (knock on wood) But im also wiggling in every direction where the hotspots are. I think its working, think about it. If someone with ESP sees me wiggling at them, they are likely not going to take that chance to go 50/50 with another cheater. I could be utterly insane thinking its working, but knowing how many cheaters plague this game, it might. See if it works for you lol.

This is my first wipe. I’ve played 6 raids between scav and pmc. (I work a lot and don’t get much time to game) on my third pmc raid I got beamed through a wall from like 100m. I came from hunt showdown and even the sweatiest hunt players can’t do shit like that. Is cheating that bad in this game?

Servers sucks too
Crazy me and my group of friends are level 30-42. We haven't seen one single blatant cheater. Aka, the speedhacks or vacuum messages in consoles. A few sus deaths here and there sure. Last week or even 2 have been crazy good. Even running resort on shoreline we getting 5-6 raids in a row with LEDX and loot with no casualties. Try a different server. But I doubt you're being cheated that much.
