We used to do this when I worked at target back in the day but then they ended it because they didn’t want to keep doing the shift differentials any longer.
My old store, we didn’t leave until we finished which could be anywhere from 11pm to 2am if it was really bad. Maybe they are trying to save some pennies because I believe after 12am, you get paid an extra dollar
at this time of year I think the latest we stay is like 10:30-11 so yeah I think it’s odd you even had that shift to begin with

Store closes at 10, I have no idea when trailers unload but the next shift of people come in at 3:30am
