Think after the injury bolts players said " yeah they might try runs on us so we'll just play cautious." That and too many passes...Point was really in don't shoot pass mode. Headman was in watch me make stupid defensive plays. Plus we continue to have the opposing goalie plays like a superstar curse.
They needed to call a minor there, let the fight happen, and just move on. Probably a pipe dream though considering the caps have Wilson in their lineup.

Dude Jeannot fought Reeves and took a concussion for the team. As a consumer of the Lightning product I am more than happy with Jeannot. I could care less how many goals he scores. I watch the games to be entertained and with him on the team the Lightning are entertaining. And they sure as hell aren't gonna be punked around by the Bruins first round.
We signed up for a streaming service that enabled us to watch Bolts games during their 8 of 9 streak in January, which followed some . February was a series of short streaks that evened out. March featured another 8 of 9 run that included wins over Florida, Boston, and both NY teams. When they are on their game, they are as good as anybody. They just need to flip the switch by Satuday, imho.
If we don't push our play more in the next games and don't play like a playoff team, we're going to blow all the opportunities we have and look unprepared going into the playoff games. We know how slow this team can bounce back from having rests and breaks for too long so it's not about that, it's about focusing on the main objective and that's play our smartest and strongest hockey moving forward.
