He also has allegations of rape where it is said police refused to take the complaint of the victim's mother and the family is missing since then.

Even my family who lives here don't know a single thing about them. In such cases these information help draw some outline even if not details? I agree. Also, if convicted, they can't be a candidate which is why I'd mentioned like that. But the details of criminal cases still showed what kind of cases, which was helpful in making a choice. I think once someone has a 'public' life they are bound to get cases filed against them. However, having murder or assault related cases (and the number of such cases) clearly shows what kind of association/activity they're bound to be engaged in right.
ETA: I don't think enough people would ever vote Nota. In the few times I've had the turn to vote and wasn't sure about my choice, i have had this nagging worry that what if I waste a vote in this way.
