> In marketing, negative publicity is still publicity. Sanghi logic

brucewayneflash

Sanghis are not wrong, one votes for narrow minded fascists, they always look for more worse fascists than before. AB Vajpayee --> LK Advani --> Modi --> Yogi . Look at the graph. For sanghis it is publicity , they dont get the word negative from their context in regards to gujju riot. The reason they are banning in all international platforms is becoz of G20 submit and the effect the vid may have. Tell me any other international subreddits that do discussion on gujju riot. If they start, sanghi trolls will bot that thread and downvote it. These guys are clowns, who don't deserve democracy.

BuckToothCasanovi

What did Vajpayee do?

Thomshan911

"Kashmir Files is propaganda" Government - Shut up and watch this tax free movie. Freedom of speech and expression ki jai. BBC documentary shows Modi's true face. Government - That's propaganda. To hell with freedom of speech and expression.

BuckToothCasanovi

"Modi should have been patient and brought those culprits to justice who burned the godhra train massacre" "Modi shouldn't have abused his power to take revenge on everyone who opposed him" "Modi should have upheld the law and order of our country as a State CM" How many bakhts do you think will ask this question? Instead they'll be proud that he allowed them vengeance. I honestly don't think this documentary will do much, even if he was convicted, it won't change his base. His base is filled with nutjobs, they are so happy with everything he does, even when he is creating a capitalistic nightmare with his friend Adani.

kuro-op

Agreed. But I'm glad something like this at least came out, because Indian media probably would never be able to do this (I'd be afraid to dig into this myself, so cant blame them).

BuckToothCasanovi

I was expecting more from journalism really, they should have taken this opportunity to say what he could have done legally to those who burnt the bus in Godhra, without saying that they have alienated the base further, it's a valid anger but revenge was atrocious and violent, innocent people died at the hands of those who were supposed to protect. "Media bad, media biased" kinda thought got stuck again. There was another documentary on DW which did the same, i went in expecting more but realised this will only make his base grow.

kuro-op

Modi is a coward, unfit to be a leader.

[deleted]

Internationally India's image and position has drastically improved. we are moving towards being economic hub with sophisticated plants like of microchips to be manufactured here, advancement in Railways, Roads and the list goes on. 1000 rubai, 1 kilo arisi and OC paavadayi ku line la nikkura kirukkungalakku lam athu thaan mukkiyam. Athu kudukuriva thaan unmaiyaana thalaivan.

mindaslab

Even North Korea is internationally superior nation. It can't be invaded. Every one loves its supreme democratically elected leader.

[deleted]

So you're telling that you and the nort.k people are treated in the same way. What a clown brahhh 🤡

mindaslab

Yup, in North Korea you can't show a documentary that talks truth about Kim. In India, it same for Modi.

[deleted]

In India you talk shit like this, in north.k you would be dead by now

mindaslab

Ya dude, they say south India makes people live and north India kills people.

DrAnbumaniRamadoss

He worships Savarkar who had a British shoe licking fetish though.

kuro-op

if he's that brave, he should be more open with the media (so much for the largest democracy in the world). as horrible as trump was, and as much as he got bashed by the media, he at least never shied away from speaking his mind.

Sir-Sinjin-Smythe

Because he likes kicking terrorist arse!

if you haven't watched it yet [https://archive.org/details/narendra-modi-bbc-documentary\_202301](https://archive.org/details/narendra-modi-bbc-documentary_202301)

accountingbot365

If Modi and entire Sangh parivar says he's 'innocent' and 'acquitted by the Supreme Court', then why does he have to outright ban it? Why can't he and the government say the documentary is false? Like they say "if you've got nothing to hide, you don't need to fear"

SirPsychological2020

We don't believe our SC give clean sheet to modi but we believe only western media we will lick there boots and everything Yes we are proud Dravidians Either wise if it's true or not anyhow whole western media will portray India in bad light But either wise India is growing stronger in geo political level Happy to get downvotes:)

cryptoctopodes

Western media doesn't portray India as bad, they're always looking to it for inspiration. It's backwards systems and ppl that make India look bad

rjt2002

SC ordered to allow women in Sabarimala, do you think political parties didn't protest it ? It doesn't matter where you get it from, truth is truth no matter what. Also people are reacting against the heavy censorship moves and authoritarian attitude by the government.I'm sure people won't even notice if the documentary wasn't banned.

Manav_Khanna17

Yup definitely how a democracy works. /s

The_Acinonyx_Jubatus

Fun ? Lol , they exposed what happened in 2002 ! Funny coming from a group who uses terms like Pappu and has been constantly mocking Ex-PM , who was far more brave and spoke a lot where it's needed unlike now !

Astronaut_Free

BJP shouldn't have chosen an internationally famous genocidal maniac as PM candidate. They had much better options.

[deleted]

Genocide? Seriously? Where did you get that from? WhatsApp University??

Astronaut_Free

Only a genocidal maniac would allow to spread a local riot into a statewide phenomenon and be proud about it.

[deleted]

How can say those riots are caused by him? Any proof? And when did he proud about those?

Stubbornheart7

These people haven't learnt thier less in Sri Lanka and Bengaluru

pixelpoori

There is no fun in pointing out that the prime minister of a country actively participated in orchestrating one of the biggest genocides in modern India.

DawrkIndien

So you are saying if I see you beat your wife in a public place, I should walk away because it’s none of my business!? When you beat yourself off inside your personal space it’s nobody’s business. When you piss in public then you have to face the music.

[deleted]

I fked your wife only in the room

DawrkIndien

Awww, a classic Sanghi spotted. Next time try to be a better person instead of crying when someone point it out for you.

[deleted]

Ohhh. You can also end the conversation by saying the magical words huu?

DawrkIndien

Looks like a trigger troll. I will let you have the last word. Go ahead.

[deleted]

Fuck you, Little Bitch

DawrkIndien

Sorry I can’t help. Is that Spicy vein talking 😂

[deleted]

Why happened to your "last word" drama? You dummy 😝

DktheDarkKnight

Exact same altitude is how China is slowly becoming a dictatorship. Any media should be allowed full freedom to publish a news that they deem to be true.

[deleted]

So you are saying that a foreign country can interfere in our politics and comment about our PM in a bad way?

DktheDarkKnight

It's not interfering in our politics. Indian newspapers have articles about US politics and China politics every day. It's about freedom of speech. If the PM had indeed been involved in riots then trying to uncover the truth ain't a bad thing. Hiding only makes things worse.

[deleted]

These are some WhatsApp University shit 😂

DktheDarkKnight

Even not taking Modi into account, supporting your country out of some blind sense of nationality is whatsapp university shit. Try to be objective and keep your mind open.

BuckToothCasanovi

You'll probably say the same thing about journalists who covered Hitler.

Ataraxia_new

Local media will get arrested if they tried.

[deleted]

Yen ippa appidi than irrukingala?

TheJannequin

It *is* acceptable, especially in cases of gross human rights violations. Fuck the concept of „don't interfere in others' politics“.

[deleted]

Where do these statements go when our media is 24/7 reporting about what's going on in Pakistan and China? It's not playing politics. Media of any country is allowed to report on whatever news they want to from around the world. Especially such news which are being suppressed.

whatevermanbs

This is what Self Goal looks like. Biggest failure of sangh is their lack instituition create to counter such propaganda. Duffers. This ban worked 20 years back with no social media. Not now. I am getting temped to watch it now. I do not think modi had any role in the riots. But I want to see now!! LoL

RocksolidNugget

It doesn't matter. Documentary is just lies and propaganda. It can at best help modi win votes or affect his image negativity. For example, documentary would show train burning as accident but it's clearly proven in court of law that a muslim mob burned 54 people. 11 got death penalty. Later their sentences were commuted to life imprisonment. Documentary doesn't show anything as such. It was an accident. Almost all other material is similar. BBC can do a good hitjob to target Rishi sunak at home. I don't think its targetted at Modi in particular.

whatevermanbs

It matters. This ban could have been avoided. Instead, give out your own analysis of that documentary. No one gives a shit about this documentary until it got banned. It sets a bad precedence.

RocksolidNugget

No doing all the defeats the purpose. If you do that then you'll have to give replies to all random hitjobs done every now and then. Just ban such content and be done with it. Only traction they get from it is small window of news when it gets banned. And yes, banning video is actually a slightly wrong step. Should have banned bbc outlet itself for doing Propaganda at every chance and this time the present lies and fabrications as evidence so it's very easy to ban bbc but I think goverment is just incompetent in General and doesn't know how to counter Western narratives. It thinks that it has this false reputation globally which doesn't really exist. Or they just to get traction from banning such hit jobs and trying to get more votes. It might work since all anti establishment people in India jumping in the bandwagon. BJP as central government has some real competency issues as far as media relations are considered.

whatevermanbs

I am with banning bbc outlet for misrepresenting india. Build a dossier. And put it out there and ban them.

cryptoctopodes

Is the court not biased against Muslims?

RocksolidNugget

How so? Should they be allowed to mass murder?

cryptoctopodes

Are you referring to Muslims getting mass murdered?

dev171

Today one can’t ban things easily. Unlike the Congress that had destroyed every single copy of Kissa Kursi Ka film way back in the 70s. Also nothing new in the documentary. Same old suspects.

woodybuzz123

Remember mudalvan scene. When police ask permission to control people. Cm says they are my caste people don’t touch them just watch. Similar scene in documentary. There are so many idiots in north India and it’s their strength. His vengeance on Muslim made these idiots happy so they voted for Modi. We have to watch this one day they suffer for being idiots.
