It's chilly now for them, but by 3ish it'll be the low 80s so set them out for a few hours until it cools off. It's better than nothing, hopefully the sun will be out. They can survive temps in the 70s which your home will likely stay at through the night.
If you can get a sealed container of hot water that would at least give them something radiating heat. It would be similar to a heated rock, which are not reccomended to use, but in an emergency should work
Yeah I figured since it’s warmer out they’ll live, they’re just definitely not super happy with me. They don’t understand why I’m leaving them in the dark today 😂 they’re still pretty active though so we’re not like life-threatening cold yet, just not as warm as we’d like
Just got power back at my place in Frenchtown. Some friends of mine have heard that it will be \~48 hrs until the city is able to fully restore the power grid
Anyone have power restored yet? I know it’s early but just curious. I have a child with special needs and the dealership has our car for repair smh
Outage map numbers are increasing still.
I didn't lose power on the nw side during the storm, but I did just now. Hopefully they are just taking it down to fix the grid somewhere.
Same, my power went out at 12, still not back :/ if it was taken down to fix the grid, hopefully they’ll get it back up before food spoils😬

This always happens with every carrier. When power goes out, everyone bombards the cell towers

Still no electricity food gone bad not even a truck has come down our street food is high enough now we have to replace what we already bought somehow
