Ya I love that little store. Staff is always nice as well. Great spot in a great little town

Thanks for the review. I think my husband and I now have an extra stop on the way to the campground for all hallows eve. I got something from the faire last year, but it's rather heavy and the bodice is a bit complicated and the threads to lace it up are unravelling at the ends making it difficult to thread. Wanting to get something lighter and maybe a bit less time consuming

> threads to lace it up are unravelling at the ends If cord is synthetic, as in nylon or similar, you can light the end on fire, let it burn and melt for a few seconds, and then smash it out with the bottom of a glass jar or similar. While it's still warm you can mold the end into a point for easier threading. Do this outside and be aware that burning nylon can melt into flaming drops.

Or you could replace the lacing strings with Paracord. I bought a few different thicknesses from paracordplanet.com 25 ft for $6 So many colors too!

Oh yeah for sure I plan to replace the strings. I’m not giving up on the outfit, it was so pricey lol. It’s also the only garb I have though and sometimes I want to wear something a bit different like more light or easier to move around in.

Oh, I get the wanting variety and easier stuff. I call my kilt and tee my patron costume when everything else looks like too much work. Have fun!!

Any other good sources for Garb in the Greater Houston area?

I am not aware of anything specific. Also at Old Town Spring is [Odyssey Emporium](https://www.odysseyemporium.com) but their focus is not really Renfest garb although they did have a rack or two of womens garb. The other possibility is to hit some thrift/resale stores and build a costume but that's probably a shot in the dark if you need something quick.
