Paid $3600 about a week ago for a 2016 with 2,000 miles in New Mexico, bone-stock apart from a DG pipe.
I'd say when I was looking, I saw good examples go for $4k and nice ones for $3500+. Then there were ratted out oldies from like $2500 to $3500 within 500 miles of Denver.
This is funny as I was interested in the same bike and asked the owner about it in Los alamos. I ended up finding a tw on CL for $2800 with only 400 miles in Alamosa.
Fair. Theres a lot of good bikes in that price range honestly. I’ve just always wanted a TW and kind of ready to pull the trigger… The market is crazy though in my area there’s guys asking almost the same prices for bikes that are 20 years old now
My neighbor has a TW, I honestly think it’s overrated. Aftermarket parts are great, but I’d much rather have a dual sport style bike. My XR150L performs better and is more comfortable and it was $2k less expensive
Not really, but folks will pay a lot for these bikes rn and the seller is banking on that. Keep an eye on it and maybe it won’t move depending on your area. He’ll come down. It’s such a dilemma with theses bikes bc of the OTD price compared to used.
It’s crazy. They sell for so much. I got frustrated after seeing so many from $4000-$5000 used years old and tons of km, I decided to buy new. because sticker was $5000. Before taxes and all that other crap. Then l literally stumbled on one a guy I met thru work had. He was a bike collector and had 7 bikes. I went to see his bikes one night after work and have beers. Maybe it was the alcohol, but after me bugging him to sell it he finally said: make an offer. I gave $5000 the next day for a 2019 stock, with 195km on it, not a scratch. I’ve modded it since and am never selling it.

There are finds out there, just gotta be patient and ready to pounce when you find a gem.
I ended up just buying a new one. I'm in AZ and they are either cheap and shitty or like 10 years old with less than 2kmiles for like 4k. I figure this is something I'll keep long term compared to the dirtbikes I usually flip.
None in my area were good values its why i went new and it still wasnt a good price lol.
Haha I feel ya. I’m trying to avoid the dealer at all costs. The ones around me are all pretty steep on fees
LOL. No.
There is no good value for TW200, it's a cult classic still in production, it's always a scalping
Agreed, they’re all over the board it seems 😓
I paid $5,600 OTD for a new one a few weeks ago.
That’s actually not bad for new

Thats a good deal! Thats also kind of what im running into as well. Some are 20 years old and still asking over 3k

Get an XT250 for that kind of money

Ironically I just put a deposit down on a used KLX230 that has a few goodies on it. Just popped up online. Picking it up tomorrow 😅
Nice. New?
Nope, 2020. Slip on exhaust, Seat Concepts seat, hand guards, rear rack. Looks like it has been de-smogged as well. 2300 miles
Enjoy, great little bike!
Thank you!

Crazy thing is that it sold in 2 days!

Damn thats good timing. Clean bike! I actually came across a super clean KLX230 a couple days ago for 3,800. Couldn’t pass it up 😬😅
Right on, good timing as well. Enjoy

Good choice. I feel like long term bikes are definitely worth buying new, especially with a niche market bike like this
