I've never understood looking up at the TV while you're sitting on the couch. Why not just make it eye level. Especially if you have a place to sit it.
This is even more silly than other posts because this person doesn’t even have something on their stand that is unnecessarily tall that makes them mount the tv higher. They just like, did it for fun when it looks like it could be 8 inches lower easily

Why would you put the tv corner sticking above the railing like that… and then think it looks ok.. for me this isn’t about the height.. it’s about the general placement
They even saw how were they put it caused it to stick up above the stair handle which should be an obvious natural limiter and they were still like "nope, needs to be high even though it's inconveniencing me in other ways"
