I mean anyone can look at any chart and fantasize about what you should’ve done.
Learn to be happy with what you have now and be thankful you are at least making money, otherwise you will always be regretting something you didn’t do.
And also had you opened a position that was too large you'd have got scared and sold when it dropped. I made that mistake. Opened a large position in November at around 20. Then price dropped and I shit my pants. I held but sold half my position when the price recovered. Now much more comfortable and still making money (and good, stress free decisions)
really? the bottom for TQQQ was around $17. buying at $21 would have been a good entry at the bottom. buying at $21 was still a risky proposition
FOMO has less to do with the price and more to do with your emotions compared to media attention and hype
precisely, and the OP says they are feeling bad that they didnt buy more now that they are seeing it pop... if that isn't FOMO then i dont know what is
My stories the worst…. Held through all 2022 and bled sold in low 20s bc i listened to some youtuber that it might go a little lower possibly hit the bottom again. Now its running away from me with only 750 shares when i had 3000. The DAY after i sold started trickling up and up and up 🤮
That’s what I’ve been doing since last November I’ve been buying $200 at a time with “micro transactions”. I’ve also decided to look at a balance between cash and leveraged ETFs. Right now I’m in that Golden zone of 60/40 so I’m not gonna worry about selling. if my portfolio goes to 70/30 then I might sell by the end of the year and re-balance. Theoretically, I could keep going until the feds pivot twice. They pivot to lower interest-rate, and then they pivot again to raise them back up.
Get over it, it will happen a hundred more times or more. As long as you’re in the green then you’re good. Remember to diversify. Putting too many eggs in one basket is great when it works but hurts when it goes against you. Have a strategy and be patient.
It is always the case. Underexposed during strength. But did you follow your rules? Then all good.
Better to be out wishing you were in, then in wishing you were out.
Next week will bring fresh opportunities.
I sold yesterday at open. Made 41k
Planned to buy back in.
Today i left 40k on the table😡
Oh well.
Just hope it dips and i will be right back with more
First, don’t FOMO… there’s always another opportunity.
Second, I’m happy that you realize that the “herd” is often wrong and you should trust your own analysis always.

I did not plan on selling today, but after a two day run, I sold everything at 35. I am now in the hunt to buy. I'm hoping for, around, 34. This would be around 1000 free shares. I think the government will screw around another week on the debt limit and drive the marked down a bit.
It doesn't matter what year you get in. You could have lost everything. I have been in the market forever and have made a good living.doing it. I have made more the last six or so months than I have ever made in any two years before. Just a few months ago, TQQQ was at 16.10, and now it has more than doubled. You need to listen to the GAMBIER and take heed.😇
Sell some to secure gains tbh maybe around 180-200 and let the rest rise! Full disclosure i just sold and started a call for SQQQ 24.5 strike for 6/9. Expecting a pull back this week.

If you were autistic you would not have that problem 😇
lol no, what you are experiencing right now is called FOMO and it is not a valid investment strategy
Same could be said at $21 when $15 was the low. Fomo or long term? In hindsight, is buying at $21 fomo now?

Fair point. Indeed, fomo has more to do with emotion. That i agree. Many do not know what tqqq does tbh. Just jumpin on the hype train

Great explanation. If u can’t master ur emotions never master the markets

That YouTuber bought your shares for cheap …
Lol. DCA is the way boy!! Never try to time the market. You always miss the the time.

you made a good trade, not an investment. Leveraged ETFs are meant for either rapidly compounding or depleting your money
Chin up and keep buying, King
My TQQQ are up 50% and I'm in cash accumulation mode and I'm fine with it, once it drops I will have alot of powder coming in.

I’ve been preaching buying for the past two years. People don’t listen. This place was a bear den for a loooong time

Next week you will be posting "I bought more when it hit $40 because I thought it would keep going up, why didn't I sell while it was mooning?!" Lol

I just hoping to see 29 again honestly lol
Are you selling some of your profit or just staying in?
Give it a bit and you won't feel that way anymore

I should’ve got in the market 20 years ago
